We have devotional meetings. We meet, in groups, pray, discuss the holy writings, and perhaps eat if the host has invited us for dinner. There's no clergy or such in the Baha'i faith. I personally have contacted the Universal House of Justice regarding the use of a particular controversial medicine. One of our LSA members was a close friend of many important early Baha'i figures, including the wife of the guardian.

Also, regarding the state of Israel, we don't engage in any politics. We are, however, concerned for human rights, and strive to help oppressed people in all countries regarding of nationality. We help by providing aid, many Baha'i-inspired NGOs such as the Tahirih foundation help female victims who are abused all over the world, etc.

To answer your questions - no, there is no idol worship of any form in the Baha'i faith. We try to detach ourselves and dedicate our souls to becoming closer to God, not letting the changes and chances of the world affect us. We do, indeed, consider Baha'u'llah to be the hidden mystery and the key to unlocking the secrets of divine oneness. However, we do not seek 'intercession' as in how many Muslims perform tawassul. We truly attempt to become nearer and closer to God, alone and in privacy.

However, this does not mean that this will persist forever. A thousand years after Baha'u'llah, a new manifestation will come, expanding existing concepts, changing laws and practices, etc, and his teachings will shock Baha'is in general as in how Baha'u'llah's teachings have shocked Muslims and members of other faiths.

All attempts at dividing the Baha'i faith have miserably failed. The largest group, the 'Orthodox Baha'is', have merely a few dozen active members. Unlike other dispensations of the past, sectarianism will never be an issue with Baha'is.

I personally find the descriptions of the Baha'i faith in Islamic forums to be hilarious - they are poorly researched and without any justification. It's like how Christians continue to portray Islam as a moon-worshiping cult despite all attempts at debunking those myths.

To be honest, the Baha'i faith teaches that religion, at its core, is the same. With every new dispensation, the laws, practices, and interpretations change depending on the social situation. This means that the Baha'i faith is indeed Islam - just a new form of it, like how Islam was a new form of monotheism as revealed by Jesus Christ.

Regarding 'manifestation' and Muhammad, the method of revelation from Muhammad was just the same as Baha'u'llah, with the difference that the angelic figure, Gabriel (what was the burning bush for Moses and the maid of heaven for Baha'u'llah) took human form in most instances. However, in other periods, this is how prophet Muhammad received revelation (I read it in Martin Lings book) Sometimes it cometh unto Me like the reverberations of a bell, and that is the hardest upon Me; the reverberations abate when I am aware of their message.

And this is how Baha'u'llah described the coming of revelation During the days I lay in the prison of Teheran through the galling weight of the chains and the stench-filled air allowed Me but little sleep, still in those infrequent moments of slumber I felt as if something flowed from the crown of My head over My breast, even as a mighty torrent that precipitateth itself upon the earth from the summit of a lofty mountain. Every limb of My body would, as a result, be set afire. At such moments My tongue recited what no man could bear to hear.

Hence, they were both manifestations. People usually misunderstand the word manifestation as 'incarnation'. Both are different terms. The oxford dictionary describes 'to manifest' as 'to make clear and evident'. The Baha'i understanding of the term 'manifestation of God' implies a human being who is so completely pure, that he perfectly reflects God's beauty to this world.

Regarding judgement day, we believe it has passed. God has made it clear that they were preferred over others during that time, as they were least likely to corrupt the faith of submission compared to other people in that era. I think you should get a professional opinion. It could be that you exhibit all the signs of someone with Asperger's syndrome only because you've convinced your subconscious you have it. Yes, I have been diagnosed by a few psychologists and psychiatrists. Only one misdiagnosed me with Schizoid Personality Disorder. I even consulted a naturopath-psychologist.

She was not able to understand certain culturual humour, and typically seemed to have a sexual undertone in almost everything she did. She also claimed to be satan at some point, didn't see any wrong with claiming that, and often claimed religion was bad, without really seeming to think about the actual religion, but that someone who claimed to be religious, had treated her, by her opinion, badly. I think this was her father, but if she was a victim of paedophilia I don't know. She also seemed to be a compulsive liar, and made up quite a few stories about me, to other people, who where in this IRC channel, where I met her.

This ofcourse, is an illness. But I also see a strong connection to jinn here. She was very similar to the girl in my teens, where I went to school. She was always the class clown, and never serious. And always "in love" with someone, and probably a teacher, and making things embarrasing.

While this girl with aspergers, didn't act like her, she reminded me of her, in other ways. And it was typically that, of being an enemy to conservative religious values.
So yes, if aspergers is an illness, that would be a symptom. To be blessed, is ofcourse not an illness.

So, if we are to rule out whether this illness is mostly related to spirits, and can be remedied, or if it is phsyiological, and needs medification, or maybe even surgery, I asked you, have you tried strong religious morality, and behaviour, in your surroundings, and do you feel different about groups, if they are of strong belief or not.

The other cousin of mine has a unique talent throught which he can imitate any song using his piano by hearing it just once. He's terrible at everything else. I'm also terrible at everything else which I'm not interested in. For example, my Mass Communication lecturer is the editor-in-chief of a newly launched magazine. He likes my writing skills and asked me to write an article on the Araku valley. I had gone there previously to study the local culture and landscape, and fell in love with the valley. I put my heart out into writing that article. He loved it. He asked me to write an article on the "two most happening events in the city, country, and world". 3 days have passed since my deadline and I've been unable to write a single word. brickwall

I imagine the same applies to eminent people with AS as well. Einstein, Newton, Hitler, Grandin, Beethoven, etc. Only good at what they're interested in. Einstein & Newton with physics, Hitler with politics, Grandin with animals, Beethoven with music.

Asperger syndrome has nothing to do with religion. It's a neurobiological disorder. I don't see any connection. However, from what I've noticed among other aspies, nearly all of us critically examine religion.

I usually don't bother about religion when in a group. I don't ask people about their religious background, since India's a very diverse country with many religions (Hinduism is an umbrella term for many Dharmaic faiths), not to mention hundreds of castes.

Anyway, like I said earlier, I was an atheist. I don't look down upon people with "lesser intelligence", I just believe that I'm good only at what I'm interested in. Nothing religious about it, but I do like studying religions.
