Salam Ervin, The project I am putting together is a work on the history of the prophets/archeology from the Quran. No firm title yet, but am thinking around "From Adam to Judgement Day - A Comprehensive Look at Humankinds Past, Present, and Future According to the Qur'an" "Our Journey - The History of Humankind According to the Qur'an" "Begining to Prophecized End - A Narrative of Humankind's Journey According to the Qur'an" Any suggestions are welcome ) as-salaamu "alaykum brother Layth I wish you all the success in this project and, with your sincerity, you will inshaa allaah achieve it. Have a blessed new solar year inshaa allaah. Salaam

It's coming from your own hallucination that's why it's called a dream. The 'two questions' is incorrect, (if we refer to versions of the book of rumors a.k.a hadih), the 'question to the dead' or 'interview in the grave' should be Ma Rabbuka (who is your Rabb) Man Nabbiya (who is your prophet) Ma Diennuka (What is your dien) Or in other versions it is merely Ma Rabbuka (who is your Rabb) Man Nabbiya (who is your prophet) Or in other versions it is Ma Rabbuka (who is your Rabb) Man Nabbiya (who is your prophet) Ma imamuka (who is your imam) (presumably the correct answer is Ali) All of the above of course is not true... Originated from the pagan egyptian religion, the 'original' story can be found within the "Book Of The Dead". http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_the_Dead It is believed by the pagan egyptian the deceased shall be visited and interviewed by Osiris within their grave / sarcophagus. Salam

Look at your avatar. She jumps with joy everytime I see her. Yup, rather jumpy, vulgar avatar if I may notice. (hoping that speaking of the avatar would not offend any real person)

What is your definition of "Islamophobia"? AFAIK "Islam" is a world-view and a "phobia" is an unwarranted fear, so this does not compute. Think of this. Anti-semitism means hatred of Jews. It's common usage does lend itself to that definition despite the fact that many Jews nowadays are of non-Semitic origin. Islamophobia (your literal definition) actually exists, but the term can cover a wide range of negative attitudes towards Islam and Muslims. Zionism and Right-wing Evangelism share a close nexus. Protestant churches send millions of dollars to Israel every year. I bet not many self proclaimed zionists "like" muslims, just a guess. Not many. Zionism does carry connotations deeper than simply support for the territory of Israel. Thanks for the share Edip Salaam

Salam to everyone. Are there any chances that the hoor-al-ayns mentioned in the Qur'an are actually referring to the righteous people (both males and females) recreated from this earth? "Enter paradise, together with your spouses, in happiness." (4370) Wssalam, leaving aside traditional understanding; in Arabic, "Hoor-e-Ein" means having a pure and clean intellect, and this word is used both for men and women. Therefore, the heavenly couples would be exemplary specimens of the ideal mixture of thought and deed.

Do we have something like Qur'an-alone tafseer? If so, where can I get it? Thanks. peace Here is "Exposition of Holy Quran" by GA Parwez, written based on focusing Quran alone. It is actually not a word by word translation....you will find justification for this approach in the initial pages. The first uploaded file in http//resurgentislam.com; http//resurgentislam.com/wp-content/uploads/ExpositionOfHollyQuran.pdf Alhamdulillah always

Peace StopS. I think I get you. You would like to see " God Himself descending along with the Angels", then you will believe. I am absolutely certain you are going to see it. However it is going to be too late, if you wait until then? Peace. As I have said previously, if there is such a thing as omniscience, it would serve to determine what it is that would convince me.

    O
Salaam everyone. ) Like the rest of you, after asking questions, reflecting, researching, learning, and discovering, I found Truth in submitting to God alone and shunning the "authorities" of hadiths, imams, sheikhs, etc. I am not against respecting and listening to someone, especially one who dedicates their lives to God and learning, but I refuse to believe that their opinion is unquestionably superior to mine or anyone else's as they have no special divination from God that the rest of us can't access. In discovering the online communities of people who reject the hadiths and follow the noble Qur'an, I felt that there was hope as there were some who did not follow conjecture. Yet, a major threat to this, in my opinion, is the fact that so many call themselves "Quranists". As people who uphold the Word of God, why do any bother giving themselves any label other than "Muslim" when it comes to Islam? In the Qur'an, we are warned about dividing into sects. So why, when it seems that we are not blinded by the conjecture of the hadiths, there are those who willingly create a new sect? "Muslim" suffices, I believe. In fact, it fits perfectly as Muslims are those who follow the word of God and reject lies and conjecture, upholding the Truth. Can anyone explain this to me? Also, what are your opinions on this? Hi Seek Peace Your questions and concerns surely merit investigation. Thanks for bringing them to our attention. I will begin by doing some investigation myself. Thanks

The general principle seems to be equivalence or less, so if someone is trying to kill you but they dont and you kill them, then that is fine BUT this would have to be proven/disproven in court. Similar to many Western countries, e.g. UK. Well i'm not concerned about court here, but rather what happens if you kill someone who is trying to rape you/kill you according to the Quran.
