And if you don`t find the words transcendent in the Quran, and feel you need to completely adhere to the Quran, just accept the singleness of Allah. "Allah is one". (not creation). The quran places most emphasis on the singleness of Allah, so that is what you need to accept. The quran also mentions Ruh, Truth, and other esoteric aspect, but oneness is as we all know, the most important attribute.

You believe in Quran but to you Muhammad is not prophet's name. You asked why should you convey Quran message to non Arab. You said Muslim community not necessary know Quran. You know what, do you watched news on TV the way the Japanese conduct themselves during crisis mode after being hit by Tsunami early this year? They queued for food, transportation and other aids. I'm so impressed. You said Quran is for the Arab. At one point of discussion you seems to defend Quran from my arguments but at certain point seems to be at my side. Your definition of Quran is different from others. Your soul is telling you something which against your thinking traditions. You are right, dude. But whats wrong with that? I really like contruktive critic. So if you want to give me feedback, go ahead. The problem however, as I see it is, that your picture of islam is that of a religion with a special dogma. Let me clearify a few points Islam IS NOT A RELIGION God does NOT care about your religion, what he cares about is your actions MUSLIM means a submitter to God, and you achieve that status by virtue, honor, respect, good deeds and healthy thoughts. "Believer" actually means "one who acknowledges God". God describes them as those who Respond to Him. Its less about "belief" and more about the "doing". "The Righteous" actually means "God Conscious". God describes them as those who responded and who Worship God Alone, not simply "believe" in God Alone. They consistently observe the Contact Prayers daily and they give the obligatory Charity. They are "appreciative" so they obey God they uphold His Commandments. They believe in God's Revelations and are called the repenters and the doers of good works. They believe they are held accountable to a higher authority than themselves and they avoid sins and they are advocates for good. They give sincere effort to improve themselves before God and they follow God's Path and practice all aspects of the Religion He has decreed. (This is not a complete list of traits of the righteous, but it makes the point.) "Leading a Righteous Life", is described as simply doing the "righteous works" listed above and many others. It is also developing our Souls by actively practicing the Religion as decreed by God in our lives. "Disbeliever" is naturally the opposite of the "Believers". They are the idol worshippers and atheists. They are also described as those who do not respond to God, or do not worship God in the manner He decreed, or do not obey Him, or do not believe in His Revelations, or do not uphold His Commandments or do not follow God's Path or practice the Religion He has decreed. This description includes people who say "I believe" yet fail to become "Righteous" and fail to follow His Path or practice their religion seriously. That's a huge point to understand; that many people who say they "believe" are classified by God as "disbelievers" because of what they do and do not do. God just defines and describes these terms and categories of people but it is our choices and behavior in our lives that put ourselves into any of them. Its the Test of this life and we will invariably choose where we will end up. The thing we have to remember is that how we judge ourselves, in relation to the world, is one thing. The way we judge others and how we judge our friends and families according to our "worldly" standards is one thing. We can easily confuse our relationship with the world with our relationship with God and the sad truth is that the world may love us, but God may not. God judges all of us by our relationship with Him, not our friends, family or society. It's how we treat that relationship with Him, that is really going to matter to us on Judgement Day.

In Buddhism, prayer doesn't really exist per se. Especially petitionary prayer (i.e. "please help me heal" or "please help so-and-so to heal&quot. Some Buddhists do this but it is not considered "correct". That was another problem for me. I know that Christians pray for help and always end the prayer with "in Jesus' name" or "in Christ's name" and "amen". My question then is how does one pray in this, the Quran only, way? I've read on other sites before I found this one about the 5 times a day and that the prayers were, to my mind, extremely ritualized and had to be said in Arabic. That was/is a problem for me because I personally need to know and completely understand what I am saying and doing. To put it another way, how does one pray and in what "format"? Or is there even a "format" one must adhere to or can one simply pray from the heart? 1.No 'standardized' format... although human shall try to 'standardize' the format and claim that their format is much better than the other.. 2. I consider "Meditation" is yet another format of 'praying'. 3. Praying is for you not you for praying. 4. God will always hear your prayer (in whatever languages or format), he even knew the content of your prayer even before you said it. 5. Peace, Prophets have been the most blessed beings among humans. They were perfect teachers, because of their skill of pure observation. So, they were able to tailor stories/parables/metaphors to whomever/whatever circumstance they were addressing. Thus, hadiths, are no more but a Prophet's teachings that he did along his path on this earth. But, the problem has arisen the moment the delluded began to transfer them. The impure cannot see the purity. The clean mirror has no flaws. Flaws are on the face looking at it. To know which teachings are good, as you know, Quran is the first filter of looking thru. Yet Quran is on the eye of the beholder. Pray to clear your eyes, so the clarity may penetrate your hearts. The senses are not to rely on them, but to rely them on the Source who have brought your senses. And the truth comes easy, once you find the Truth. Praise be to GOD, who alone is keeping everyone. I don't really know what I'm getting at with this thread. Of course he's wrong, but have any of you ever felt like this? Like God doesn't care about you/us any more? Nope.. I often think about why a messenger won't come to our generation. It's been more than a thousand years... Many revelations/messages are being delivered, perhaps even daily.. yet within the 'format' or 'appearances' which is not exactly match your 'expectation' of 'message/revelation from a God's messenger'.. and oh yeah.. he/she/it never ask you to 'bear any testimony' that he/she/it is a messenger of God.. or even claimed as such.. you just have to be sensitive enough to 'see and listen'... Does God love us? And if you've ever felt like he didn't, how did you manage to get yourself out of this "depression"? Sorry if this has been asked before! Patience and perseverance..

Shalom, I have been thinking about it. What difference does it make in your life , if you are convinced and testify and bear witness that there is no God at all ? PEACE ----------------- Student of Allah I think it wouldn't really change anything except eventually over time, no matter what is presented as truth to people that conflict with their beliefs, they will not believe, unless those who are more liberal maybe. I believe it can become a form of major controversy if something like this were to be discussed. Eventually in time if people did brace such a belief might cause an extreme case of natural selection or more invested time and money into research to prolong our organs, our cells etc. and a form of tighter security for life. Also embrace and invest more time into the parallel universes theory, possibly even time manipulation. That's all I can think of now.

Of course everyone has problems. However, I noticed that in the more affluent countries, when people are going through difficult times, they don't turn to God. They may go to a therapist, or do some yoga, or jog around the block to de-stress, but they won't go to church. I lived in Australia for five years and most Aussies are secular. However, I noticed that the couple of people I knew who were devout Christians, had a difficult life- history of psychological problems, family violence, troubled childhood etc. So as I said, it seems that its only the poor or needy who want God in their lives. According to the Quran, Zakariah (P) was the man who took care of Maryam (P), after her father (Amran) had died. She lived with him in some kind of sanctuary. The Quran also tells us that Zakariah's wife gave birth, at an advanced age, to Yahia. So Yahia was the son of Zakariah, and he has nothing whatosever to do with "John" or "Johann" the Baptist, who lived during the age of Jesus (Yeshua). Amran, Moses, Aaron, Maryam, Isa (Maryam's son), Zakariah, and Yahia all lived and died in Arabia, in or around the city of Najran (the craddle of the Nasara) over 1000 years before Jesus appeared in Palestine. Thats not what we are talking about in this thread. We are discussing the specific "Eid of Ramadan and after Hajj". I would love to see how much twisting of tongue with the book is necessary in order to make the "EID" you quoted into the EID that we are discussing. And ofcourse, thank you for the quote, that will help increase the amount of knowledge in my precious vault of precious knowledge ) May God reward you for that. So you are saying that only Joseph has the power to interpret dreams? No, he was not interpreting dreams but he was interpreting the visions. Please note the word where "Ara" is vision and "Manami" is sleep. In Yousuf's case there are only visions and no mentioned of the word "Manami ", hence those are not dreams. This is how I personally understand. Please correct me if anyone finds me wrong. May Allah increase us all in knowledge and guide us all to His true path. pr Mohammed M. Khan
