Peace be upon you! Do not attempt to walk before you can run. You bear full responsibility for your evaluations. You are obliged to thoughtfully research on any subject before making up your mind. And do not follow what you have no knowledge of. The hearing, the sight and the heart, all these will be questioned for it. There are quite many opinions regarding this topic. In my opinion, both parties present a reasonable point. However, I would advise you to read arguments from both views. And most importantly, the first and sole source you should derive your final decision from is the Quran. If I am right, I have seen your posts where you said that you believe in God, but do not know if Islam/Quran is the suitable source for you. Correct me if I am mistaken, I may be thinking of another member in this community. Nevertheless, if it is you, then I would advise you to seek knowledge on more important topics rather than this (if you are not homosexual or the matter specifically addresses you). By the way, it is not wrong that you support LGBTQ+ and their right to exist and operate freely. Believers should not oppress, because it is worse than murder ... Oppression is indeed worse than murder. Lastly, I apologise, you will get no direct answer on this topic from me. I have yet not researched this. Thus, I should refrain from issuing any decisions or opinions. My Lord, admit me an entrance of truth and let me depart an exit of truth, and grant me from You a supporting authority. 1780

Peace Sarah, You have broadened the meaning of the word hadith to include anyone with a point of view. Def. Hadith a record of the traditions or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, revered and received as a major source of religious law and moral guidance. peace

Peace Sarah, You're destined to seek and walk your own path, as everyone destined to seek and walk their own path. In the end all path will lead to the same destination. Have you noticed that no one share the exact same path? That everybody already does seek and walk their own respective path? Using metaphor this is actually not a boxing match where one need to beat the other or a marathon race where one also need to win over the other. But it's more like hiking in the mountain, where there are many path, but all path lead to the same destination, the top of the mountain. Having said that there are those who think that their path is to fight, to compete, to beat and to obstruct other path. Trying to dominate over other people. Which one that you choose? No right or wrong, it's all up to you.

I already mentioned two in my original post on this thread. One on human embryology and the other on geography. I have only referred him to Google in a bid to get him see there are alternative diverse and contradicting views on the infallibility of Qur'an. I did try search on google "errors in the qur'an" and I got a lot of links. It would be helpful if you can simply give the URL that you yourself are convinced that those are errors in Quran (one on human embryology and the other on geography). If the URL is a youtube video and contains a lot of claims, then help by mentioning starting time of the sections that you are convinced (unless you are convinced that all of the claims in the video are true errors in Quran).

Peace jkhan. Thank you also. I did say scrolls of the original Torah here and there remain ,you say, quote "Wa'indahum Taw'rath. ..it means they have Taurah.. Not the corrupted one.. I said they failed to keep it intact and corrupted the religion. I asked you where is it? All you have to do is bring the Torah that they had or tell us where we can find it? I explained 543 to you I said the corrupters said it. That is why GOD was asking them to refer back to What was sent to them from GOD . If they listened, gathered all the remnants of what they had of the Torah and thrown out all men s books and false interpretations they would have found that it agrees with what Qoran was saying to them about GOD s one and only religion. But GOD knew they would not leave their parents made up religion. GOD bless you. Peace.

Hey it's me again. I must tell yall Quranism is not easy. Yall have so many different views that it's just impossible to practice anything. My faith has been completely distorted and i donot know how to continue Because although i have accepted Quranism i am having a hard time practicing it. I have been reading about marriage requirements, some Quranists say that we can marry non muslim people of scriptures that is those jews and Christians who believe in one God and donot associate anyone with him. But then the other Quranist page said that muslims are only to marry those people of scriptures who not only believe inn one God but also should believe in the last Prophet Muhammad and this book Quran. Aren't these people also muslims if they believe in Quran and Mohammed? So we are back to square one ? It means muslims can only marry muslims I'd marry anyone who genuinely/sincerely and potently believes Existence to be Perfect so long as I find them attractive. It is not essential to me if they've read the Quran or not, but it would be strongly preferred that they understand the Quran. If x believes Existence Is Perfect, then x can peacefully surrender because x would believe that everyone gets what they truly deserve. Additionally x would do his best to be good, as he will believe that that will result in what is best for him in a perfect existence. So what if x has never read the Quran? x is clearly a muslim by Quran's definition.

Peace... Be grateful for God for making you enter to this forum.. Hope you would take something beneficial to your journey from here...as well you give others something good.. I read your introduction.. God bless you.. Now you have opted a way.. So it would be appropriate to omit repeating "Some Sunnis saying" ... You claim it is illogical and you again say I don't know whether to believe it or not... That's what you have to change.. Believe what is logical.. Believe Quran... Leave the rest what Sunni says bla blaa.. That's irrelevant to you anymore, if you have chosen the right path.. Having said that let me answer your question God will correctly .. Your concern I hope is whether our actions echo forever be it good or bad.. In my understanding within Quran I believe No.. God says everyone is responsible for his neck.. Everyone will be questioned... Everyone will deserve level of hell according to what they did and everyone will deserve level in Janna according to what they did.. If one evil action continues then even God forgives evil will continue.. God will not punish my parents if I choose wrong path though they taught me right path... They infused in me good eversince I started speaking.. But in vain if I ended in wrong path.. So parents won't get any reward in their effort...parents will get for what they did in their life.. Same the opposite.. Parents would have taught me all evils and would have taught me to associate with God from childhood, but I chose right path... Parents won't get any reward coz I went in right path... It is individual life in a social environment.. No one is responsible for what we decided to choose and execute it.. We would have probably got impetus from others for doing the right or wrong... But we are responsible for what we do and they for theirs.. Next point of you is reward and punishment.. I guess.. There is no such rewards as you have concerned.. If anyone does a good thing that is good for himself.. Coz every good deed counts in our Balance.. After all we have to outrun our bad deeds by good deeds.. Good deeds should excel... Bad deeds may get converted as good deeds or may God forgive a believer's bad deeds.. Thats possible.. That's mercy.. As well all good deeds may end up in vain if a person end up as disbeliever..these all possible within Quran verses.. But such fancy stories are not in Quran.. As you said.. If you donate a Quran to masjid and whoever reads you will be benefited.. That's exaggeration... If you donate, you have done single good act.. Coz most probably you would have spent money in buying the book. And you donate so those who don't have the book may read.. So with donation your actions is over and recorded.. They read or they burn or they misguide people by that book is not relevant to you.. Coz your intent was pure. That's recorded... No more.. I will give you an example... When a begger begs you give him 1 dollar... Has God instructed you before giving charity to a begger to ask why you beg, what you gonna do with my money etc etc.. No.. If you gonna question beggers all these, you won't be able to do charity to them.. Even you happen to ask them, how you will ensure what they say is true.. So, when one begs, if you feel helping him .. that's it... So with that money if the begger smoke, do prostitution, drugs or whatever evil is not your concern.. You intended good.. Coz he was a begger.. Or the begger gave the same dollar to another begger.. So you got your benefit by donating a dollar and the begger got his benefit by donating his dollar to another...(once you donated it is no more yours) There after whst happens to the dollar is not relevant to you.. Your action is closed when you donated... Rewards in the hereafter based on such multiple actions continuously and not by doing one action and that multiplies by means of others.. Such hadith followers always find easy path to enter Janna.. Finally as we all know, with death chapter closed.. God Himself says don't die without being a Muslim.. What if dies? That's what hadith tries to misguide.. Donate in the names of parents so it goes to their graves and their punishment eases.. It adds up etc etc.. So.. They ultimately trying to turn who died without muslim to Muslim. Or else they try to change miser into generous charitable character ... What they trying to prove? They try to make God fool.. So they try something to make the dead man alive by doing bizarre actions.. Neither they nor the dead would get any benefit.. Coz they violate and their intention is wrong.. Make dua.. That's fine.. Coz we don't know their destiny.. So make dua.. But you can't rewrite their life.. Coz God will only ask what they did and not what others did or behalf of them.. Thank you so much for clarification. I keep giving the examples of sunni because i guess learned all of this from them. I was just concerned because from what i gathered from Quran, there's no such thing exist, so i was really confused wh they Allah in hadiths is playing an arcade game with us where we get 10,000 points for scoring one good deed and minus 10,000 points for one bad deed. I was trying to get solid proofs to debunk this idea because God knows that most of us are groomed to believe all this, so much fear is instilled in us about it. I was always plagued Because of it thinking that my one mistake, my one sin can multiply by thousand times. I just want to feel peace, i donot want to live my life in fear that my every action could be potentially a sin. For instance, i didn't observe hijab/head covering in front of my brothers. Of course according to sectarians head and full body covering is a must, and although i did used to wear niqab outside, i find it quite challenging to observe that dress code amongst my close cousins Because seriously they are just brothers and honestly the idea of potentially getting married to them doesn't even cross my mind until i was always reminded by my colleagues and family that they are non mehram. This has caused so much anxiety and stress to me thinking that my sins are all piling up and being multiplied. I honestly donot like this concept. It's unfair to many of us. What if we donot have the means to do something then that person who does something goof is getting 100000x more good rewards than me, even though it was Allah who didn't give me the means to do so ? I am honestly relieved

Salam TheUnseenLight, And it was inspired to Noah “No more of your people will believe except those who have already believed. So do not be saddened by what they have done.” “And construct the ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration, and do not speak to Me regarding those who are wicked. They will be drowned.” And as he was constructing the ship, every time any cluster from his people passed by, they mocked him. He said “If you mock us, then we also mock you as you mock.” “You will know to whom the retribution will come to disgrace him, and upon him will be a lasting punishment.” So, when Our command came and the chamber erupted. We said “Carry in it a pair from each kind, and your family; except those against whom the word has been issued; and whoever has believed.” But those who believed with him were few. And he said “Ride in it, in the name of God shall be its running and its anchorage. My Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.” And while it was running with them in waves like mountains, Noah called to his son, who was in an isolated place “My son, ride with us, and do not be with the rejecters!” He said “I will take refuge to the mountain which will protect me from the water.” He said “There is no protection from the decree of God except for those He has granted mercy.” And the wave came between them, so he was one of those who drowned. And it was said “O land, swallow your water, and O sky, cease.” And the water was diminished, and the matter concluded. And it came to rest on the Judi, and it was said “Away with the wicked people.” And Noah called on his Lord, and he said “My Lord, my son is from my family, and your promise is the truth, and you are the Wisest of all Judges.” He said “O Noah, he is not from your family, he was of an unrighteous deed, so do not ask what you have no knowledge of. I advise you not to be of the ignorant.” He said “My Lord, I seek refuge with You from asking You what I do not have knowledge of. And if You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be of the losers!” Per my understanding, Noah was not calling his people one last time to seek repentance because in 11.36 he was given revelation that no more from his people will believe. Noah was commanding his family and believers as per 1140. However, in later verses it is made clear that his son was not among his family that God promised to be saved. Wassalam

Peace Jkhan, I think I understand what you mean. There is nothing equal to the God. If one gives an equal it's like replacing God. But in some way, some people think that the God is the most powerful but attribute some power to other thing that don't have power. They don't think well (my understanding from some verses). and there are those who forbide what Allah didn't forbide, in the following verse there are those who associate 6.148 Sahih International Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have associated and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but falsifying." 16.35 Sahih International And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except clear notification? Somehow they are remplacing God, we can think that or they are ruling with God. You are right... So simple as that..

Yes we have multiple organizations in the name of law, governance etc.. and these can be used in both wrong or good ways . these are just like weopons can be used in good or bad ways, and we need not fear as in the end, its His will, the inbuilt natural law thats going to triumph, and there a plenty of examples out for us. There are both good and bad passing everywhere in everything, it can come in all forms, right to our living room, Just be attentive to whats happening around you, be thankfull and you will be blessed and rest will happen as its going to happen in the rightfull way.

Really interesting read. Thank you for sharing. I definitely believe I'm in the 'believer' column. Regardless of what i think of the Quran and Hadiths etc there is just an innate belief in me that there is a God. That there is an afterlife, and we will all answer for our good and bad deeds. Peace be upon you! In response to your statement "I'm in the believer column", I would like to counter that and tell you that a Submitter must attain certainty before God grants him the believer title. Depending on the questions you asked on your first comment on this thread; you are doubtful. Verse (4915) verifies my claim Rather, the believers are those who believe in God and His messenger, then have no doubt, and strive with their money and themselves in the cause of God. Those are the truthful ones. Possessing no doubt is one of the criteria's that you must fulfil if you want to be classified as a believer. Please check out this article for more information about the differences between a Submitter (Muslim) and a Believer (Mu'min) https//free-minds.org/mumins Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds!

Peace sohaibk . Thank you for your reply and honesty. While I agree that we should not "tell lies" about GOD deliberately, there is nothing arrogant about giving our view . I also agree that arguing altogether can be pointless. GOD bless you. Peace.

salam jkhab The God CHOSE to make it an obligation to help His messengers and make them the victors alongside the believers .. He has NO constraints ... if He did have constraints (The God please forgive me for saying such saying) .. then who set those constraints??? if He set obligations on Himself then He CHOSE to set them (they are not obligations anyways but in a manner of speaking) The God is never obligated to do anything ! He does as He pleases His promises are truth so whatever He says is the Truth and we understand He will fulfill His promises peace

There is nothing wrong (or good) of being an introvert. As there is nothing wrong (or good) of being an extrovert. I've shared with you on your other thread that what goes around comes around. When you continuously judge others you will continuously judged your own self and when you understood others you will understood your own self. The reverse is also true; When you continuously judge your own self you will continuously judged others and when you understood your own self you will understood others. It's not wrong to feel 'pride', and do not be afraid with it, but understand it. Ask why... why you feel the need to sense the feeling of pride in the first place? Again it can also work in reverse, it's not bad for other people to feel pride about themselves but understand it. Why... why they have need to feel pride in the first place? You will then can understand when you sense 'pride' coming out from other self. And not judging them of doing so, or let alone feeling 'drained' or 'disgusted' by it. Lionel Messi will not goes around bragging about his football skills, because he knew how good he is at football. He does not have any 'insecurity' on that aspect. Donald J Trump on the other hand, bragged about how good president he is. The latest he bragged about Dow Jones index which actually has nothing to do with him being a president. It shows that he has an 'insecurity' on that aspect, being a president, or actually being a person in general. He continuously judging himself and once he found something within himself which is not 'good' according to him he tried to protect it with any action that he can. Including trying to paint an alternate reality about what actually happened to protect his own self of feeling 'guilt' by his own self-imposed judgement. #losing #doNotMeetOtherExpectation. If only he understood that losing is normal, do not meet other people's expectation is normal, there's nothing wrong with that, he would behave differently. But let's try to understand more about him. Why is he so? It's because he was continuously judged by others, throughout his lifetime. It might happened as early as his childhood, by his own parents, by his own siblings, by his own friends. He clinged on to those 'bad' memories like an anchor, not letting it go and try to avoid as much as possible of experiencing the same thing in the future. And as a mean of protection he tried to paint different image which is not the authentic image of his own self. Driving it back home..to our own self. Thus when you feel any 'bad' feelings within you, (fear, insecurity, hate, sadness etc..) first accept it, don't judge it, there's nothing wrong with it in the first place. And then ask your own self 'why'... find the root causes and then try to release it. Don't clinged on to it, just accept it and let it go. Accepting is healing, Forgiving is healing, Every thing that you do to others you actually doing it to your own self. Thus you can also change the way you treat yourselves by changing the way you treat others. Or when you change the way you treat yourselves you will also eventually change the way you treat others. No right or wrong, it's your own choices.

Salam, brother hawk! I wonder how do you translate 1854 And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from every example; but man has ever been, most of anything, dispute. Peace! Peace TellMeTheTruth, I understand ayat 1854 like this (1854) And surely We have explained matters to people in the Qur'an in diverse ways, using all manner of parables. But man is exceedingly contentious. This is to warn the people that the Quran has left no stone unturned in making the truth plain. It has employed all kinds of arguments, parables, similitudes and used all the possible effective ways to appeal to the hearts and the minds of man, adopted the best possible style and I also think some of us make the mistake that the Quran among other things is other than a book of guidance, given to us so that we can walk the Sirat al-Mustaqim. sometimes we prefer to debate the unseen even though it is called the unseen for a reason. peace

Its all how we take this, God= Goodness provider, and if we live in fear not willing to get the support and guidance of the source, its our fault. I think, from the start we are going on the wrong way to defend from this virus, yes virus itself is a mystery, it can be environment related and involves lack of immunity in the generations due to reasons like pollution, as we burn all kinds of plastics and new materials we consume without knowing about its effects on our body and this coronovirus is a warning sign that we do not care about our well being and put effort on those, but due to our greed we tend to stay away from such things, Even at this stage big corporates are after the vaccine because of money involved in this and I could say rarely we get good things from such places.

what does praying lead to... it does soothe our nerves and encourage us to do things in a certain way, i think. Peace... I don't have any clue what the mind of God is... But let's stick to the attributes of God... In my perception and according to Quran God has certain things He will never change His decision or action... That's fixed and they are promises and God never break promises.. Certain other matters God reacts to action of human being... Of course God knows the future..that is a fact But... But God act upon our situation even without supplication and to suplication.. So rather than calling does God change His mind, we better call God reacts to each individual... Positive or negative... You can take so many examples that are not fixed... One is king Pharaoh... God didn't send Musa and Harun just to pass time with him.. God reacts based on what every individual does... What if Pharaoh accepted the message... Will the situation be same.. No.. God will definitely accept him.. So God reacts not change his mind... It is not absolutely must that God to react to every act of human being... That is so manifest... As God Himself says.. He won't change us untill we change.. 1311 ... So if we change God reacts.. How He reacts we don't know... Another example God says He will bring best hadith in reply to the disbelievers claim.. So God reacts not change his mind...
