"Nice guy" means that you are goodly by the standards of the community you live in, i.e. you match the stereotype of a "nice guy". What do you mean by accepting? Be well Amenuel

To be honest I disagree with Mr Jesus (or was it Mr. Matthew?), well whomever.. Mr. Lust is not all "bad"... Mr. Lust is being governed by the most primitive and the most highly prioritized part of human brain, which responsible to survivability, dubbed the "reptilian brain". No no it's a far cry for 'conspiracy theorist' lingo of 'reptilian alien' creeping inside our society... it's a brain which all mammals share with the reptiles, hence the name. The "Lust functioned" didn't kicked off since birth though... Just like Mr. Lust, Mr. Hungry, Miss Thirsty and Mr. Fear was also governed by the same reptilian part of modern human brain. None of them are 'bad' actually, the human just need to learn how to control it properly. Many thanks to Mr. Lust, there are 7 billions human now walking their two legs on earth. Kudos as well to Mr. Hungry, Miss Thirsty and Mr. Fear. Specifically to Mr. Lust, he's also responsible to spark other positive things in human... Among those are Creativity in male Empathy (Yes.. empathy) in female The experiment that describe it all.. The Science of Lust https//youtu.be/129aNc_5Jm4 So.. don't feel bad when Mr. Lust came to visit.. you just need to know how to treat him properly, and let him help to spark positive things in you... And oh.. most important... don't blame or curse over the object which inspired and triggered Mr. Lust visit... I must beg to differ. The instinct is nothing good for a person who likes to excel. You must also differentiate between spiritual drive and instinctive drive. Mr. Jesus spoke of lusts driven by the bodily instinct and especially those that are clearly negative and detrimental to spiritual development such as greed, materialism, jealousy and egoism. But for a person who does not seek to remain trapped in one of these bodies forever it also takes controlling/suppressing instinctive impulses such as the sex drive. Basically one has to "separate the spirit from the flesh". The human body (Homo sapiens) was made as a corrupting contradiction in this world and not your true identity. But creativity is of the spirit but the expression is marked by the level of instinctive influence, e.g. what an artist paints is tainted by his human body's thinking. Be well Amenuel

sun is also a star.... there are more stars which are similar to sun and some have also plantery system like our own solar system.. three years ago i was reading about the nearest sun like star here is a brief summary of that research... At a distance of twelve light years from Earth and visible to the naked eye in the evening sky, Tau Ceti is the closest single star that has the same spectral classification as our Sun. Its five planets are estimated to have masses between two and six times the mass of the Earth, making it the lowest-mass planetary system yet detected. One of the planets lies in the habitable zone of the star and has a mass around five times that of Earth, making it the smallest planet found to be orbiting in the habitable zone of any Sun-like star.

Peace I agree with Neptin. Think about how hot the Arabian Peninsula and those neighboring regions are. The reason why desert dwellers wear head covers (irrespective of gender both men and women) is to shield themselves against the sun. That is the primary use for clothes in these hot regions. It's better to cover up and let garments shield against intense heat than let your exposed scalp and skin pay the price. In fact the Quran shows us this is true. 1681 WaAllahu jaAAala lakum mimma khalaqa thilalan wajaAAala lakum mina aljibali aknanan wajaAAala lakum sarabeela taqeekumu alharra wasarabeela taqeekum ba/sakum kathalika yutimmu niAAmatahu AAalaykum laAAallakum tuslimoona And Allah (has) made for you from what He created, shades and (has) made for you from the mountains, shelters and (has) made for you garments to protect you (from) the heat and garments to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus He completes His Favor upon you so that you may submit. Siin-Ra-Ba-Lam = to clothe, put on the garment, be confused. sirbil - shirt, clothing/garment, breast plate, coat of mail. Here are some articles highlighting why loose clothing that covers entire body is much more advantageous in desert climate. http//www.funtrivia.com/askft/Question101794.html http//www.nature.com/nature/journal/v283/n5745/abs/283373a0.html Allah also explains why He has made clothing for us. I think the foremost requirement for both men and women is to cover our privates. 726 Ya banee adama qad anzalna AAalaykum libasan yuwaree saw-atikum wareeshan walibasu alttaqwa thalika khayrun thalika min ayati Allahi laAAallahum yaththakkaroona O Children (of) Adam! Verily We have sent down to you clothing, it covers your shame and (as) an adornment. But the clothing (of) righteousness - that (is) best. That (is) from (the) Signs of Allah so that they may remember. = Lam-Ba-Siin To wear/cover, put on a garment, be clothed in, envelop, conceal, conformed, cloak/disguise, that which is worn. Obscure/confuse/confound, mystify, render a thing obscure and confused to another. Employed/busied/occupied himself with/within a thing, become involved/entangled/complicated, to mix/mingle/accompany a thing. Clothes are also for adornment, so wear your nice things, but I believe modesty is the best policy. Having seen the above Ayaat we can understand that clothes are granted to us for covering our shame, protection against environment and also as adornment. The next three ayaats are where many differ in 2431 And say to the believing women (that) they should lower their gaze and they should guard their chastity, and not (to) display their adornment except what is apparent of it. And let them draw their head covers over their bosoms, and not (to) display their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers or fathers (of) their husbands or their sons or sons (of) their husbands or their brothers or sons (of) their brothers or sons (of) their sisters, or their women or what possess their right hands or the attendants having no physical desire among men or children who (are) not aware of private aspects (of) the women. And not let them strike their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah altogether O believers! So that you may succeed. In my understanding this ayaat is simply conveying modesty and covering of the cleavage by using any form of garment, whether it is a head cover or shawl. What this ayaat is not conveying however, is for the women to remove their head covers and use them instead to cover their cleavage. Can you imagine women in the hot deserts having to take off their protective head covers which shields them from the sun, as we have seen in the ayaat above and the articles about extreme heat?! It would be a punishment to force women to remove their head covers. Hence, if khimar is referring to head cover, then one can still wrap the ends over and around the chest. It can however in my understanding refer to any form of "clothing". The women are asked to cover their bosom and to not strike their feet a.k.a switch or walk in a seducing manner that would expose shape and features. So when the women are asked to not display their adornment we can deduce that it is not necessarily referring to hair but the body. 3353 O you who believe! (Do) not enter (the) houses (of) the Prophet except when permission is given to you for a meal, without awaiting its preparation. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, then disperse and not seeking to remain for a conversation. Indeed, that was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of (dismissing) you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask them (for) anything then ask them from behind a screen. That (is) purer for your hearts and their hearts. And not is for you that you trouble (the) Messenger (of) Allah and not that you should marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that is near Allah an enormity. Some claim this is the evidence for why women should wear the hijab but there are few things that those who make this clam are missing This is referring specifically to the wives of the prophet; they are unlike any of the women. Therefore, what applies to them does not necessarily apply to all women The command is given to whoever enters the house of the prophet to ask from behind a screen, not to the wives! So what is it referring to you might then ask? Well we have to truly envision who the people the Quran was delivered to were and how they lived. They were mostly nomadic. They were tent dwellers. Envisioning this might help further understand the command. My family originates from Africa and our culture has very close similarity with Arab culture. In our homes, all the accesses to rooms/chambers are covered by a partition/curtain for privacy. Especially our parents room is screened. I should never walk to my parents room, remove the screen/partition and enter even if just to speak to them, that is improper etiquette. I should always ask permission to enter first. They may be lying in their privacy and we know Quran 2458 speaks of privacy. Basically tent dwelling culture is most likely the same. Chambers within the tents were probably sectioned off by partitions. The believers entering the homes of the prophet are encouraged to treat the wives of the prophets as their mothers 336 and respect their privacy and not to barge in their private chambers even if to ask for something but to keep proper etiquette and ask from behind the private chambers. 3359 O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and (the) women (of) the believers to draw over themselves their outer garments. That (is) more suitable that they should be known and not harmed. And is Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. I believe this ayaat was especially particular to the women of that time because they were being harassed by the neighboring peoples. So to distinguish them so that there would be no excuse about their identity for the ill intentioned harassers, they were made to cover themselves with their outer garments to be readily recognized. I believe this command reinforced modesty to protect the women. The same applies for women today if they want to avoid being harassed they might want to follow these instructions as well. I still however do not see this as necessarily covering your hair, although when I envision a woman back at the time of the prophet drawing a garment over herself, I do envision her drawing a shawl/ or cloak like garment over her head and around her body, because that is how those particular peoples dwelling in the desert dressed they did not take chances exposing their skin to the sun and neither do their descendants today as we have seen in above articles. That being said the hijab is more of a regional item which has had a functional purpose but has turned into a cultural item. If you are living in regions where its functionality has benefit, by all means wear a loose fitting head cover and shield yourself from the sun's heat. However, if you live in regions where its functional purpose is obsolete then it is up to you to decide whether your sense of fashion and sense of modesty equate to wearing a head cover. The commands for modesty are in 2431 and 3359. I think it is important if one wants to fulfill these command to understand that outer garments entail loose fitting clothing, not tight fitting. Tight fitting clothing would defeat the purpose of not displaying adornments and defeat the purpose of protecting women from harassment. I think the emphasis for modesty is in relation to the body of the woman and not her hair. For example this below defeats all purpose of modesty http//feedmelols.com/uploads/V1yHH.jpg Dear Tuva82 I hope you have understood that nowhere in the Quran does God give an explicit command for women to cover their hair. May Allah guide us closer to His Straight Path

In which ayas is that said? Salaam i try to tell people plantey of times to read quran throughout the subject for understanding better ... but i think i m failed... any way here are three verses of same subject i will tell what quran is actually adressing there... contradiction in quran = impossible... 3124 When you said to those who acknowledge "Is it not enough for you that your Lord would supply you with three thousand of the controllers sent down?" 3125 If you take a firm stand and be on guard, and the enemy launches on you a sudden attack, your Lord will aid you with five thousand angels, specialized. 3126 God made this but an allegory to give you glad tiding, and to comfort your hearts, since there is no victory contrary to the laws of God, the Almighty, the Wise. so as per my humble understanding God is infact saying everything is my control. winning losing controlling... the fiirst verse in which God send down three thousand very next verse God is tellingin case the situation is really horrible then i can enhance the quantity to five thousand... and in the very last verse 126 both verses get quite clear like crystal whats its all about...a satisfaction... hope you guys got it , and i will mention one more occassion with 1000 controllers 89 You implored your Lord and He answered you "I will provide you with one thousand controllers as defenders." 810 And God did not do this except to give you good news, and that your hearts may be assured by it. And victory is only from God; for God is Noble, Wise. same message again... what was presented by God before... in case of 3000 and 5000 and sister huruf you better find references by your own next time it takes times to go through my notes to search things ,,, i m just kidding...

............. Should we carry on with low self-esteem and not thinking much of ourselves, because in fact we have done nothing? But how long can we do that before mentally destroying ourselves? Where is the balance? Salaam/Peace Comrox, I find perfect balance, dear Sister/Friend, here I believe, we should rightfully be thinking much of our own selves/souls, first of all, ========== 44- ...... and whoever does Good Works, then it is for their own selves/souls (=lianfusihim) that they are preparing a good place. 45- Because HE will reward those who believe and do Good Works from HIS Immense-Grace. 18- O you who believe, be Conscious of AL-LAH, and let every self/soul (=nafsun) look to what it has send ahead (as such Good Works above) for tomorrow. And be Conscious of AL-LAH, for AL-LAH is fully Aware of everything you do. QURAN TESTAMENT 30/44-45 = 59/18 And we should absolutely give the Obligatory and Voluntary Charities (=8/41 & 9/60) to the needy and the ill and the orphan and the widow and the underprivileged in our Society, we should absolutely care for them and truly help them as much as we can with all of our Good Words and Deeds (=2/261-263, 273-274) to get rid of all Selfishness/Ignorance/Greed/Arrogance in our souls/selves. (12/53 = 91/7-9) And we should rightfully be Happy/Satisfied with all of our Good Efforts/Achievements, especially, because we have done it with our own "free-will" here, in the first place (=76/2-3) ========== 8- (And) some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 9- Happy/Satisfied with their Effort/Achievement (=liSayiha). 10- In a high Paradise. QURAN TESTAMENT 88/8-9-10 and we should praise our Lord AL-LAH because HE is The ONE Who made it Possible for us to work for/strive/succeed in all of our --physical or mental or intellectual aspects-- all Good Efforts/Achievements, and thus we should wholeheartedly be Thankful to HIM Alone for all of our Good Efforts/Achievements (=26/132-134 & 38/41-44 & 27/39-40), and we should thus be full of Joy, and Happy and Satisfied of our selves/souls and of our Lord AL-LAH Who created and granted unto us our selves/souls, (=91/7-10) forever, inshaAL-LAH (=36/54-58 & 88/8-9-10)! Remain in peace/salaam.

I do not think it is a matterof the rejection of the hadith or non rejection. It is rather that only the Qur'an is taken as divinely instructions. The rest can be regarded in its own merits and on the appreciation of ech person as to its values, usefulness, authenticity, integrity, sincerity or any parameterone may think. That is, the rest is like any reading, spiritual, or religious or philosophical reading. Salam

Peace huwa, Couple of years ago, i was doing zikr/ dhikr in my work colleagues house. This was at night just before morning. I've been to these meditations for a couple of weeks now. Just on every tuesday or wednesday (i think it was). While chanting I closed my eyes and suddenly a pair of eyes opened inside of me. And i saw a beautiful place of a house with gold chairs and furniture. basically everything in this house was gold, including the big mirror. They shined without the use of a candle or light bulb. They had their own light emanating (furniture). And this place looked more clear then the world we see around us on a daily basis. What you experienced is called astral projection. You experience involuntary astral projection every night when you go to sleep and you can also practice to be able to do voluntary astral projection while conscious, which is much more vivid and clear and feels like a real experience. You don't have to belong to any particular religion or "practicing" a religion to be able to do it, just like anyone can learn body building. It is just a tool you can use to discover the actual reality and the spiritual and physical truths. Thousands of people on Earth routinely do voluntary astral projection every day. Please see the following posts for details and watch the videos posted http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9607830.msg376905#msg376905 http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9607830.msg376915#msg376915 Peace

We are all here for something.. At least that is how I see it.. Why I stay alive here? Because my supposed role here is not done yet.. And I really don't care what car that I / He / She drive, house, clothes.. Although I uses those objects for my daily life.. all of those objects are here fur purpose too.. And I don't think we should think negatively about it or avoid them.. because they're merely objects.. my view of them are neutral.. as any object are.. Because everyone has a role, thus I think Pele, Bill Gates and all those fore mentioned names are successful. Although none of the men are dead yet, thus I think they also still have role to play. It is true. As long as we perceive them as tools they are okay. When we use them to claim status or have vain indulgence of any kind then it is when we are on the wrong track. It is easy to see when if we learn to know what is driven by Homo sapiens' instinct. Making things more efficient is simply a show of wisdom and intelligence, so not necessarily an instinctive trait. How we do and how we act shows how susceptible one is to the phenomenon called "satan". A car is a machine and manufactured to take you from point A to B according to your needs (as you right now drag along with a body) and extra "horse powers" are usually vanity except when towing something heavy (increasing your needs). Yet many people buy a car to show their ability to acquire such item. Same with a cellular device, how many do not buy the latest ones just to have what others have without having any need. A device multiple years old is still good enough for the average user. Many use only a fragment of its maximum potential. The same is true for many things. We buy brand clothes for no other reason than them being branded. Often "no label" (or unknown label) are just as sturdy. Clothes are manufactured to cover the body and protect it from a varying degree of damage depending on activity and environment as well as simultaneously allow heat dissipation, and if wished it can also prevent a beholder of the cloth-user from instinctual activation, i.e. "sexual arousal" which can be beneficial in a group of people who wish to abstain from this world to a maximum and then it is a courtesy of the user. This is why nuns wear full body clothing as the female body is perceived as involuntarily provoking arousing feelings in men and the female body sometimes even being attractive to females themselves. It is in its origin NOT a religious dogmatic innovation and there is a valid reason with fully covered people. But its use should NEVER be compulsory. Does my world seem too black and white? No I was just reasoning without any added emotions or need of primitive instinctive uses for the body's purpose. What about style? Well, even the creator of the animals had artistic proficiency, so this is not really the issue. Be well Amenuel

Thanks for the enlightening and intriguing reading, Jafar. The "Shining Beings" are what is called angels in common mouth. But they do not descend from anywhere but eyes play tricks on people. It is the energy of their presence which causes a typical phenomenon of light. It is because they have no physical attachment to the world but seem to us like an anomaly in the spatial environment. God is everything, like "mono-pantheism". Each "Elevated Being is also an elevated "Who Is" of God, i.e. like a share. This way they can participate each one in managing the world and determine its fate. One needs to think from a perfectly monotheistic viewpoint without taint in order to understand. And both you and me can become those of who I was writing, if we put our minds to it. Be well Amenuel
