Interesting idea.. what will be the features supported by an "Online Temple"? I mean besides accepting tithe and donation (through PayPal, VISA or Mastercard), which is obviously the most important feature. I never asked for Gold and Silver. That's a dangerous thing to build your "Mosque" on. The Online Temple should be build with the sweat of true keyboard warriors! Haha, p. No seriously, why did you say that. Why would an Online Temple need donations?? It's a place to meet and search for God because of Hes Word therein. Let's keep that space clean. Well i recently started thinking about it, as a student-programmer. An online temple build by as much as possible. Everyone that is a Monotheist is welcomed to contribute. What features? Let's add as much features as possible if they are in line with the word of God. Thinking about features like, going into the online temple, studying the word of God, having a chat with believers, etc. I will really like it. I use to visit facebook and free-minds a lot lately. Why not building an online temple? Let's keep gold and silver out of this idea. Because it will only ruine this project. Building a webapp does take only some time and effort from the programmers. Hosting a website today can't be compared with building a building with stones etc. Anyways, i wil try to make a post about this. Everyone that has an idea, or can even programm, please feel free to contribute.

Its like a map that shows levels of consciousness in humans, its really good because in many ways it talks about what Quran has already mentioned. For instance, a spiritually evolved human at the higher levels of consciousness knows and understands that this life's enjoyments are nothing but the enjoyment of deception (surah al imran 3185) while the less spiritual evolved humans keep running after power, wealth, material possessions, people's approval etc. in order to find contentment, but as Quran 3185 mentions, these will all end up being disappointed because the enjoyments of this life is nothing more than a deception. Hmm, yeah. Okey .

i think there is quite often misunderstanding of certain key concepts in the quran, and have been thinking, prehaps to start a thread discussing all of the key concepts, such as what is iman, salat, deen etc, with relevant info on the arabic, as to me it seems that the quran can be easily misunderstood if people dont understand theese key concepts.. Yes this is true, but I should not be the one participating there since we will not have any agreement on terms because my understanding is differing from Islam's doctrine and it causes something else. Take salat for example, my research tells "follow" is the correct definition from ancient lexicons. For example, in 2458 the passage says "Min qabl salateh al-fajr" and "Min qabl salateh al-esha" and my conclusion has been that the passage simply uses salat grammatically to say "after the following of the sunrise" (paraphrased "before (the event of) the sunrise&quot. Possibly the qabl could also imply "approach of the sunrise cycle/event (following)" since approach is one of possible lexical definitions. Salat is also not referring to definitive in 2458 as it has no AL, i.e. it is not the focus of the actual linguistic conveyance. It can thus not "the prayer of the morning". It would appear linguistically dull. Obviously my translations need one to revise the whole traditional rendition, but as you may know I question the whole understanding of Classical Arabic based on certain discoveries. I would say someone just handpicked salat and made it a ritual because it was convenient. Aqum al-salat in my eyes means "follow straightly" or "Go straight". Qum is used in chapter 1 "ahadana al-sirat al-mustaQEEM" and means straight there. A perfect translation I have worked on for some time. Firm could also be the possible choice for Qum and it could be that the phrase can only be paraphrased "hold on to it firmly" (as in to continue). Compare that to my explanation in 2458. It doesn't translate to "God is great" but to "the god is greater" which is an incomplete sentence. great greater greatest,,, hmm three forms of english grammer of verb ... but what is i see even great greator or greatest... one time you say billions times you say or trillions times.. its dosent affect the higness or greatness of God .. Allah is already great... after english comes on math.. greater than... > smaller then< God is greator than x put anything in x.. result will be same again... becoz there are rules in math that indicate if you mutiply 0 with trillions the result will be zero.. again God is one and one is the only nnumber that is multiple by any number, on unending loop .. God is one greater greatest God.. there is nothing like him 112 again look we are talking about our rules of math and grammer... all i see it may b a grammer mistake... and in our language we speak lot of grammer errors and we are not even aware about it that we are using wrong grammer... i never see any body in any language that use perfect grammer in their daily life ,, so y bring this issue even u prove its a grammer error but the concept is very clear thats what focus i think.. i remeber sometimes people say write capital A with the name of allah does it really matter. i think yes becoz in exam if u write small a u get negetive marking , but if there are no exams and lord know you are loyal with god then he really dnt need you to wirte capital A,, peace and have a happy advance eid

And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry but that it is in a clear record. 6 59 And they say, "Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?" So say, "The unseen is only for Allah , so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." 10 20 And to Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Peace, I would travel to al-masjid al-haram if i knew for certain where it is.. Mecca is never mentioned in the quran, in my understanding, and to the best of my knowledge, is probably not the location of al-masjid al-haram. in my current understanding, based on my research, the location of al-masjid al-haram is probably at/near/part of al-masjid al-aqsa (EDIT, the location of the temple mount) in jerusalem, and it is at least possible that muhammad originated/lived in petra. i also wonder, though i have not researched this as much, whether hajj, and the day of jummuh are in fact some of the festivals mentioned in the torah, after moses led bani israel out from eqypt, by gods will. but God knows best, i do hope he will guide me to a better understanding i dont particularly wish to go to saudi arabia. but if i knew for certain that al-masjid al-haram was there, i would, if able. Peace I also think about the Tabernacle and the Temple mount. I have read about the Tabernacle in details in the Torah. But i have just heard stories about the Temple on the Temple mount. I did read just the Torah/Psalms/Gospel/Quran and Proverbs so far. But Mecca is mentioned by name in the Quran? 4824 And He is the One who withheld their hands against you, and your hands against them in the interior of Mecca, after He had made you victorious over them. God is Seer of what you do.

What did you get from Quran in the practical sense? I see many people here are struggling to find the meaning of the words (from most basic things) and are dwelling on the Book and it's meaning because we know the translations are terribly misinterpreted but life is passing by and time is ticking. What did you get as a practical guide in this life to live it fully and happily from the Quran? At the moment i read the Quran also in a way that it is a revelation that also mentioned the Torah, Psalms and the Gospel. For me, and may my Lord guide me, it's a whole new experience and dimension of understanding when i read it like that. Because when i was afraid of reading the Torah, Psalms and Gospel it seemed that i didn't understand the terms like Moses, David, Jesus, Torah, Psalms and Gospel. Who are they and what are they. Etc. Just like the Shabbat, it's mentioned in the Quran. If you read the Torah, by Hes will, u get a understanding of what the Shabbat is. Also, the children of Israel, it's mentioned in the Quran. If you read the Torah, by Hes will, u get a understanding of what or who Israel is. Etc. Just like when you read the present Gospel. You read that Jesus, Son of Mary, Messiah, Son of David, king of Israel used to obey the previous revelation/the Torah etc. We should also ask ourselves, why is the Quran revealed?

Actually, deciding what is true and what is not true, in order for people to "buy" these packages is very much against the spirit of the Quran, and life in general. We are told to verify everything. We are told that the masses would lead us astray. We are also told to be careful not to follow our ancestors blindly. We need to be careful to solidly declare things as truths. Even "truths" in science change when new discoveries are made. Reality doesn't change. God's truths don't change, but our knowledge and understanding does. Look tthe metal, in one of your lines it says "purify metals" ?What do you purify metals for? You purify them for some use, and the measure in which you will purify them will e dependent on that use, it must be t the degree that the metal can be aplied to the pursued use. Same with verything else. Yu purify for the purpose of getting back to God by the less painful way, the sirat al mustaqi With the zakat you purify your oney. Money must serve life, our earthly life, not to make us loose track of who we are and what is the purpose of our existence and how we achieve it. ONe aspect of the way to achieve the purpose of our existence is that we share whatver wealth we have so that all people have enough to live, to give of our ealth to attain that end purifies our money, our fortune. Prophets are purified to be able tocarry out their mission as prophts. They are purfiied in thoughts and deed s that their behaviour can serve as a good example. In order to know ourselves we must purify our ineligence by being absolutely truthful with ourselves. Donot tell ourselves lies because we may feel less guilty thinking this or that even if it is not accurate. We then can purify our motives, knowing why we act whether it is really out of conviction or out of fear. Purify implies in the first place that we know what we have fore us o that once we now what exactly we are dealing with and what we want to attain we can purify what we have, be it our personality, our friends our occupations, we can purify ll that to attain what we want to attain. If you are planning a wild garden, you will purify it from specie or varities that are ot wild, if you want a rose garden you will clean it ancd purify it of any other flowers or wild herbs or anything else. peace, definitely i understand your view, and i agree, sadly it is often the case, however anyone who applies the whole quran would, god willing, not be distorting gods words or using parts of it and disregarding parts of it, as both of theese are things that would incur gods anger, as the quran says peace

Salaam brother, One more thing I found in this parwezi group that they actually follow hadith. When you ask them they say we don't believe in hadith but we believe in history o yeh i know some of them, one of my neighbor was pervezi he was retired colonel and used to run a shop after retirement and i dnt know why he shows his views towards me at first instanst i was shocked becoz i used to learn different things from schooling but when i asked from other people they simply dnt have answers and told me not to talk with that perosn so much he will brainwash you... brickwall then i decided to read translation atleast and when i finish reading translation even it was sunni version lot of things cleared and i got answers of lot of things... but yeh if u beleive it as a history we need to understand most of the hostory is written by victors on their own commmand and history got lot of errors , history may b right but may be wrong so best to filter things through quran.. You know why the scholars of that time call him kafir? There are three reasons they gave 1- Parwez watch movies so he is a kafir. 2- Parwez don't have beard so he is a kafir. 3- Parwez's teeth shows up when he smiles so he is kafir rotfl Believe me these are the 3 reasons they gave rotfl one more reason you forget becoz when he point out something they dnt have answers of logical questions and they simply label him kafir so that nobody listen him lol It is always better to avoid these discussions. If anyone comes to your with questions just answer them, finish. No more discussion until they ask further. lol brother only cow have ten different species , goat , lamb, sheep , buffalow, camel, horse, deer all have many different species throghout the world.. its a different matter if u want to catagorised them.. the way you wanted.. i dnt think so its difficult to find 8 species.. u got plantey there.. Yes, many species, but they are collectively called goat, sheep, cattle, etc.

As a side note We see what we want to see. Someone who has decided quran is bad and wrong, will not accept even an interpretation that otherwise would have been accepted. I know people who say quran advocates cutting of hands of thieves. When they are told that it mean cutting of means, then they don't accept this. Or when they are told drb women is same as leave the women, then they don't accept that. The reason is that in their minds (due to emotional reasons), quran can by definition never be correct, even when sensible interpretations are given that in other contexts would be viewed favorably. Such people will insist that the worst interpretation is the accurate one, even though they still don't believe it is from God (so what does accurate really mean here?). As usual, emotions are at the bottom of this kind of reasoning malfunction. i remeber this verse for the people who already decided to reject the truth... 2440 Or like the darkness out in a deep ocean in the midst of violent waves, with waves upon waves and dark clouds. Yeah Palestinian Jews and Christians were happy to see them. I think everyone or at least most where, and hell I think everyone were happy to live there under the Islamic Golden Age for example. During that time you were allowed to criticise religion (including Islam) and Muhammad under that empire. Could you do this on Christianity under a Christian empire? Nope. That said the Islamic Golden Age was not really perfect, but it was much better compared to the others. True, in India, people were fed up of caste system and complicated rituals. But in my book, Sufi saints were credited for the promotion of Islam over there. I do hear (not written in any of my books) that hindus were forced to become Muslim. It doesn't gel well with the history. I mean if the Muslim emperors truly cared to force Hindus to convert how come sati was banned by British who invaded India after many centuries?
