Peace "phoenix", peace JK, As I see it, the quran says that jinn are made of fire for a reason. If jinn=emotions, then our emotions are like fire. Fire, when in the form of a controlled flame, is good for us. We can use it and benefit from it. But when fire gets out of control, it can harm us (big time), and we burn. When our emotions control us, (like satan overpowering Adam) and blind our reasoning, then we do bad things, and when we do bad things we burn in hell (fire). JK- I know the argument which is based on Jinn being part of us in that context but im not quite content with tht understanding as yet. There are no beings or parasites that make us do bad things. WE ourselves do bad things by making the choice of being slaves to our emotions and desires. JK- Oh yes there can be. Many people do strange things or become schizophrenic because of some parasites entering the brain causing neural malfunction. This much is well known. Also ive seen a deocumentary where brain cancer caused a man to engage in uncontrolled sexual behaviour. He even had sex with his own step daughter when his wife left him. He was later diagnosed with brain tumor and when cured he didnt commit those things, sometime after tht the cancer returned and he started his acts again. So we can clearly see how cancer and other parasites and viruses disturb normal brain function making us do deeds we wouldnt do otherwise. GOD Bless!

If not jinn, how else might she have done that? yes....that's interesting....many things v cannot "explain" or "understand"...at the same time cannot deny based on prejudice! -) i have myself talked to a few people...some whom i know personally...and who swear that they have had "wierd" experiences... ...and the quran does indeed affirm to the existence of djinns...so i dont challenge or contradict their experiences just cuz i aint experienced it myself! -) however...coming back to what u have recounted...i am not sure if djinns can read minds...maybe 1 of those "psychic" things...like clairvoyance...or telepathy or remote-viewing....methinks...i have had a few interesting experiences myself! -) anyway...urs was an interesting anecdote! -)

could not have said it better myself! From this article, one can clearly see that "jinn" are not leaders or shape-shifting aliens but are fantasies such as mythical serpents and idols. This is the reason why the cubes that the Arabs venerated were called "jinn" blocks. They are abstract (i.e., imaginary) representation of those idols. Peace, Ayman

Peace, That is why the cards and palmreading are fake. I understand they use it as a hide. But i believe it is time they come out as they have true God-given senses. They are more sensetive to the field, which we can learn a lot from. As for the future events not recorded, that is true. I believe myself that they can see several things that are happening around you, and then see what it causes in the future. Like she would read in the field that her car has a broken bolt somewhere, then her brain processes that into a carcrash in the future, so they can read causes and their brain gives the possible effects. But a lot of times only the possible result comes through and not the cause of that result. Maybe this has to do that their conciousness is blocked to directly recieve the information from the field, and that the information is only recieved in the sub-conciousness. Peace, Like you know, Arnie, I used to give tarotreadings. I quite doing that 2 years ago but people are still calling me to ask me to give them another reading because my predictions were correct. I do think it were not the cards that gave me the pictures and thoughts in my head but they did motivate me to get a clearer vision. Till this day I get clear pictures and thoughts in my mind without using the tarotcards. When ignoring this I see those things happening and blame myself for ignoring that voice in my head. I do think people can feel the energy around them and predict future events. Everybody can do this. I don't know how to explain how to do this but I taught it myself by meditating/concentrating. I think we all can tap into the energyfield around us. Some can do it better then others. Basically, when we are born, there is a certain energy that we take in and this effects how we react to all energies as they return to us in a cycle. Peace, The Quran is a source of guidance, and i don?t believe ?worms? is really meant with jinn. But it was also used for insects and other creatures that were rarely seen, so yes, but there is not a verse in the Quran were it will find by my point of view. jinn is a description of an attribute, not a title of one species. So anything that is rarely seen or hidden which fits the context can be applied. But i don?t believe worms do fit those contexts. But please don?t think jinn can only mean one thing as then you fall into the trap most people fall....

Peace Samina, I think this person was psychologically troubled and possibly delusional. Schizophrenia comes to mind. There is zero evidence, barring the anectdotal, that supports any assertion that one can be possessed. Think about it, why would Allah create some spirit that goes around hijacking people's bodies from them. It makes no sense whatsoever. We need to get past this dogmatic thinking. The only evil that exists is that which is within, as a result of straying from the path of Allah. So long as you're doing the right thing on a consistent basis, you have nothing to worry about. Psychological disability is a bit more complex as it usually involves some sort of trauma or imbalance, both of which can usually be treated if diagnosed properly. As for dreams and such, we must realize that we're dealing with different states of consciousness/subconsciousness. Occasionally, one gets caught in between, and the result may seem frightening. But everything that we're not used to can seem frightening. Peace, Tay salam alaykum I do not know if a jinn can psses a persons body but i do know my from my experiemce that ones mind can be "filled" or possesed in the sense of being possed or overwhlemd by many many jinns at once trying to influence you etc i know how difficult it can be for this girl i never drank urine or anything but i did before islam have some issues directly after having been seeking help from jinns bad mistake but its in the past and they do over take or posses your thoughts try to make you hate yourself GOD and make you kill yourself or cut yourself again no one can force you but when your not a muslim i dont think your protected from them like when your a muslim becasue i have never done anything since becoming muslim never cut myself or tried to kill myuself or anything becasue it became like i was immune to there influence after being a true muslim alhamdillah i dont care what anyone thinks i know im not a psy patient i have been evaluated and no im not crazy i dont take meds or go to the funny farm or antyhing it was a horrible period in my life in which i should of never sought help from the jinns ignorance was my excuse but i no longer am ignorant of GODS WORDS so i am no longer affected in the way i once was anything people cant beleive they reject usually the people thought the prophets were crazy or liars or etc becasue i think those who carry truth most can not accept since they imagine or see it but God knows so no one should have to prove anything to them for GOD KNOWS THE TRUTH THAT I SPEAK so HE is all that matters AMANDA

jim i dont believe in ghosts. I too am interested in researching the field, however all roads seem to be leading to scientific theories, medical conditions, psychology, hypnosis etc etc. Until someone can show me a jinn face to face i dont think i will believe it, i have heard plenty of stories of 'spooky' goings on from here in london to my parents remote village in pakistan. most of these encounters are due to paralysis attacks. There was also a very interesting article on the net about how infrasound (really low frequencies like 5hz) have an effect on humans causing hallucinations, feelings of something in the room etc etc. strangley enough usually 'haunted buildings' have a very high infrasound rating, due to wind gusting down corridors and thin walls... trying to find the article now.

Here's one First understand these words Shajarat(usually means a tree but can also be the plural for bad company) 7 ayyaam (seven periods). Istawwaal-arsha (speaking of God), Istawaa is to be taken as future so that God will assume the throne, instead of God assumed the throne. 711 which refers to Adam as 'antum' or Ya'll in this case humanity. Khaleefat(being related more to mukhtalifah means 'truly corrupt' the female gender given emphasis) Here's the story. God decides to create humanity, but he doesn't yet. He tells the angels that he will put a truly corrupt one on the earth. They protest naturally, asking why God would put someone on earth who would shed blood and cause trouble while they worship him. God says that he knows what he is doing. God's has created all creation within 7 periods and and at the end of these seven periods or ages God will have his judgement and will establish absolute power, his throne. When God creates humanity at first he puts them in in a state what we cannot see. But one of the angels knows that God will put him in mud, because he says 'You put me in fire and you will put him in mud.' He knew this because God told them earlier that he was going to put a corrupt one on the earth. So this no-longer an angel vowed to mislead mankind because God told him to step down from the angels (ihbat minhaa). So God put Adam the garden and in the hidden realm. But Iblees coming from Ablasa might be understood as the force of desesperation which rejected God's command to respect humanity and to work for him. That force came to Humanity as is refered to as a snake because of its tricky ways. It was evil because it was going against God's words. That is why God says in Chpt 7. Didn't I tell you? That is because they were told that what is evil is what tells them not to do with God tells them to do. It convinced humanity then, taking advantage of our ignorance, to despair for ever-lasting life despite God, but God gave man another chance, put him out of the garden and the realm of the hidden (what we don't see now) and onto the earth, a corrupt one as God had said earlier. But humanity comes to earth now for a second chance and God's words will reach him and if he turns to God he will be saved. If not . . . You know the rest. Peace be upon you all, I wan to discuss this understanding of being LINKED to those exceeding in rebellion when you forget the God. We are talking about verbal and visual thoughts (intellect and imagination). When we forget the truth that thoughts are not "us", we many times follow the thoughts that enter our heads, we become companions with them. FOr example, someone steps on your foot and does not say excuse me. The thought might come that "he just disrespted me" along with the vision of you beating the guy up. What an EVIL companion! Later when you are in jail for beating the man up or accidentally killing him, and after the EMOTION has passed, you are so sorry and you wish you were far away from such thoughts and images. Many people say about such events "and the next thing I remember...". It is a state of HYPNOTISM really. Many of us beleive in these thoughts and images that come to us that we become ONE WITH the thoughts and images and therefore do not question them. We have to work on seperating the "I" who we are with the thoughts that come to us. But as Ayman said alreay, this topic is one that really must be reflected upon. It is easily verified once you take the time to go over life scenarios.

G'day! "From the quran we know jinn are from fire and angels from light..." I'm afraid that you will not find in the Quran that angels are created from light. As to your question, I would prefer to be whatever pleases my Lord the most. Cheers.
