I am not sure anyone can have a definitive idea of what a ghost or spirit (in that context) is. You and your mother may well be right, on the other hand I have heard that a ghost is a soul that refuses to move on because they feel that they need to do something first, or that they do not realise they are dead. Who knows? heard the same thing. ghosts could be just left over energy in that place. perhaps that's we hear of ghosts haunting houses they lived in. or places they experienced extreme emotions, like death, pain, suffering... they don't go next door, they stay in that house. or yes, they could be souls that don't realize they're dead and are stuck here, that could also be considered state of "hell". or yes, maybe they need to do something first, after all, death is nothing more then a shift, right now we're tuned into this frequency, and each night we shift into another, willingly or unwillingly, when we sleep. and death is about the same, we just shift, only that we don't have bodies to swich back to. yet if souls are extremly attached to this world they may be in that frequency level closest to our earth one, i compare it to when you set channels on tv and you're tuning and you stop between channels, you see a little of one channel and a little of another, you know. that's why we sometimes get glimpses or see shadows and such.

It could have been an OBE but more likely, it was a hypnagogic hallucination. This occurs when you are about to sleep and your body enters the typical state of paralysis and starts dreaming but you are not fully asleep. The end result is dreaming while half awake and your brain attempting to make sense of the mixed inputs it is recieving/creating, resulting in all sorts of freaky occurences. Peace. I am wondering about who the Jinn are. I was actually wondering if humans are allowed to connect to them. (seems 6112 answers my question here )..... The reason I wondered about this, is because pre finding the Quran, I was interested in ethnopharmacology, and the substances that certain tribes have used for eons, to have connection with other dimensions. I know there is a plant called ayuhusca, that allows the Brazilian tribes to receive messages whilst in an altered state....it is known as the vine of the spirits (or vine of the soul).....people have said they were in contact with other beings that they either heard or saw.... I just wonder if these plants and substances could be allowing people to connect with Jinn.... From what I have read, these altered states are revered by tribes as a source of information, about the future and about illness.....where is the info coming from....I cant see in the Quran anything that points to God saying that he will give information in this way.....could it be jinn? I haven't had the opportunity to sample this blessed drink but I've come close enough. One consistent thing between tryptamines such as DMT, mushrooms, LSD, etc is the presence of "machine elves", creatures that resemble the archaic concept of "angels". I have good reason to believe that the entire concept of jinn comes from people's experiences on psychedelics. The most convincing thing would be the consistency with which people observe these creatures. In my experience these things do tend to give you a lot more false information than genuinely useful life lessons so it's worth taking that into mind. Whether it comes from the mind or not is a very hard question but judging from everyone's experiences, I'd lean to the "hidden side of nature" viewpoint. What these agents do is break down one's mental barriers forcefully. The same end can be achieved through other ways which of course require a lot more work to attain, though the end result would probably be a lot purer. Keep in mind that "jinn" does imply hidden from view so maybe there is a lot out there

You would think that after years of debate on dJinn on this forum people would settle for agreeing to disagree, but I guess I am wrong. However, invisible/vieled/hidden yet firery beings IMO is a pagan oxymoron and may have come from Roman/Latin influences (from the genius and Juno mythology inherited via Nabataean culture), or the Persian Hezor Efsoneh adaptation Alf Lailah wa Lailah.

Thx for your reply brother. handshake After some thinking, those Quran verses about the judgement day rings my mind. How the trumpet was blown, how the angels comes down to earth. How the earth were folded like a carpet. How the left side and right side are separated between each other. How most of those who didn't understand got confused. And each of us will be judged. Our records will be shown to us. Quran explains it all in detail about the day of the judgment. I'm not sure about Bible though. This is the time where the faith of the hereafter is tested to us. Would we be like Noah? or would we be like the rejectors? In Noah's time, God have given them a chance to survive. But now the Quran already said that this is the last. So no chance of surviving after this. Just like Ra said. The third cycle of the every 25000 years must be completed. Good or bad, all must be harvested/judged. Which means, those who are in a positive polarity are accepted and will evolve to the 4th density. And those with negative polarity? eternally left in their own hell. I don't think Ra will forge lie about this. Quran already confirms about judgment day. Ra only explains it further in a more "direct" term. I'm sure one day when everybody realize that it will be the last day for them, It will be too late to realize it. Remember planets/ asteroids travels fast. The moment you see a big red thing on the sky, the next time you blink your eye, you're gone already. It's that fast IMHO. Faster than car accidents. You won't know what happen. Even Ra wouldn't dare to interfere the process of our evolution. They are compassionate to us. But they still is the servant of God. They won't disobey Him. Law of confusion which Ra didn't want to explain somehow showed it answer itself. When you're in doubt, you are confused already. Am i right? Even Quran got some of the law of confusion in it. 37 has explained that. Not many people understand it. We never would. Because it always open to personal interpretation. One must understand this to find the answer. The key is to be open minded. Accept all that your heart wants. Remove doubts. Experience it even if it's wrong on our eyes than we'll know the answer. That's the most valuable to the soul. The experience, learn the lesson for it, and gain the wisdom out of it, and be thankful to God for the chance that has been given to learn it. But for those who are narrowing their mind. Focusing it at one place, feared to venture at the path of unknown or worst, became a sheep that follows the herd. They will always go round and round. Even if they perceived/believed they had solved the answer, they will be more questions. There will be more puzzles to solve. Sometimes they got stuck, sometimes they returned back to the original question, sometimes they go much deeper up to the level where they got lost and forget their original purpose of the first question or sometimes they just gave up and join the herds. But this is an experience in it's own essence. There is no right or wrong. This is also a path where one will learn a lesson from it. But it is still their choice to either let God show them the answer or ignore Him to struggle to achieve their own illusion of victory. So either way, "open minded" approach or "narrow minded" approach, we still got this valuable experience. Either the smart way or the hard way. Our choice to experience it. Nobody can force it, nobody should, nobody could. There is also a possibility where there will be no choice left. If one is aware of this, this is the moment where they will always open their heart and mind and accept the inevitable and surrender to God. If one does not aware of this and chose the other side of fate, to rebel or be suicidal, it's a pity fate for them if they didn't get the chance to learn the lesson from it (i.e dead). I think most average people are afraid of metaphysics and supernatural realities. That's why you are not getting much feedback. Just to remind you. 2Pacs - you are right it is just my truth. But that is all I can do right now - I have to live by my convictions just as you must live by yours. I never said it just YOUR truth as a matter of fact i think the opposite. I think certainly debating can be good when it gets one to iron out one's insufficiencies - but there be a point where it should not go on pointlessly - and I feel that I have reached that point here. I do have more to give but as I don't feel like I am being heard and end up having to repeat myself and correct people so much then I see it as a fruitless task. And since I am aslo unable to accept what others are saying - so then what be the point of continuing in that way?? There is a Zainab on the thread who many at the end were commending for putting up an argument but in fact now I see she has totally left the forum and after alll that hard work did not manage to win over the opposition. Both sides are not the only sides reading the arguments you've got people like us reading too. I wasn't convinced on any of the arguments which made me convinced that we haven't got to the bottom of salah YET, but thats another topic altogether And in fact throughout this whole forum I see there still no concensus in the matter of salat. I was only able to arrive at my own conclusions by reading and investigating the Quran for myself. It is clear how that actually fits with many people on this thread - it will be seen as wrongly misintepreted. Maybe there never was/is supposed to be consensus on what salah is because its not a ritual or a static pratice/method throught humankind life. I personlly think that the best thing anyone can do is read and try to understand the Quran for themselves and live by it instead of endlessly debating on it with people till kingdom come. I don;t beleive that people shoudl have to come to a concensus for the sake of being agreed. You complain in your previous comment about how there's no consensus on salah and now you don't believe that people should have to come to a consensus for the sake of being agreed then what do you want? See the error? The Quran isn't from my understanding a personal revelation but for everyone so trying to understand Quran for yourself is dangerous also as you can't follow the command in the Quran that says discuss through mutual consultation and live together.
