Peace with you all, sun maybe this one would be a help for the formula of fire There is not a formula for each kind of fire but each combustion can be represented chemically. For example, when carbon (C) burns it combines with oxygen (O). carbon (C) and oxygen gas (O) results in incomplete combustion of carbon monoxide (CO) and a complete combustion of carbon dioxide (CO ?). The same is a beautiful example with water. When hydrogen (H) thus burns, means connects with oxygen (O), the result is water (H ? O). If there is a little Oxygen in the blood ( transport to the brain ) so more CO will be "poured out" from brain cells. But there are also other substances which are sent out from the brain cells (or other cells in the human body), so called toxic waste. Also by negative thoughts the brain cells will absorb less oxygen. As example when someone fears from examen and so he/she cannot concentrate enough on the tasks. As far as you know, fear generally produces stress. We can think clearer if there is enough Oxygen in the blood .... also we should do more sport God knows the best.

I believe contacting jinn is not encouraged in the Qur'an. I strongly suggest Brothers and Sisters for not easily tempted to want this kind of things. Instead of using your time to communicate with the jinn, it is so much better to use your time to communicate with Allah. If you hope for something, you should beg to Allah, but sometimes you should be patient until it's granted. And be patient is not bad.

Peace, It might sound odd, but try to adopt an attitude of peace and acceptance to the voices n jinns and whatever disturbing elements there are in your mind and senses. Try to rise above the fear. Try to accept the horrible voices as you accept your own desk. It's there, it's nothing to be afraid of, you don't need to run away from it, you acknowledge it but you don't react to it and you don't play it's games. Rise above. See it and accept it, but in peace. Fear not. Don't run away from it. When the voices come, just observe them in a neutral peace, and don't act on what they say and don't run away either. Evil things use fear to control us. Stop fearing and their power is gone. Pray to God for forgiveness. Pray to God for help. Pray to God for courage and strength. Pray to God to let you be able to fear none and nothing but God. Pray to God to let you be free of the influence of whatever destructive forces there are. Pray to God for strength and protection. Pray God to keep your mind safe from outer influences and you safe from your own mind and what it makes up. Ask forgiveness, purity, strength and help. Peace

Shalom aleikhem, Happened 3 yrs ago. Was asleep like any other night when i somehow was awaken. Only problem was i couldnt open my eyes or move any part of my body but i felt everything. I felt my heart thumping, i felt the energy rushing into my legs to move them, i felt i was scared to death n sweating like a pig. It was like my body was a coffin n i was trapped inside. N heres the worse part. Out of nowhere i heard this voice. Right above my head n then this sinister laugh n said "you cant do anything about this". I wanted to shout but couldnt. I dnt know somehow i tried to think about quran verses n a couple of seconds later felt like someone let me go. It kept happening for sometime and it did happen while i was in mecca. Once. I always thought the devils in chains during ramadan were a bit dodgy. It stopped after awhile. It was scary at first but i took the later incidents like a pro. Lol. Kidding. It scared me to the point i wanted to cry like a baby. Seriously. This happened when i started praying regularly. Maybe satan was pissed i took a different course crushing his investment. Peace The things you described are identical to what we know as "Sleep Paralysis" with commonly associated hallucinations. It happened to me over a thousand times now I think. In my first few encounters, I did the same as you, try and recite religious stuff. Nothing helped in my case. But later when I understood the phenomena, it was all good, although the experience itself is scary when it happens. Given that we already know how this happens, I see no reason why one should resort to supernaturals for an explanation. Its like claiming that it rained because angels were crying. You can learn more about this phenomena here Sleep Paralysis (Wikipeida article) A Case of Sleep Paralysis with Hypnopompic Hallucinations Symptoms of Sleep Paralysis Peace -------------- Student of Allah

Don't worry, this was last year. I only took those hard drugs once as I was trying to 'open my mind', not for the drug use itself, but for how it would expand my conscious and whatever. Eventually I stopped smoking marijuana completely as the thought that I was committing sin constantly entered my mind until I couldn't enjoy it anymore. I asked ALLAH to help me stop if I must, if stopping it would bring me closer to Him, and then I found the "Do not kill yourselves" and "but do not waste verily, He does not love the wasteful!" as I began spending far more than I ever did. I was always able to see patterns and colours in my mind, from hours and hours of meditation and I'm sure from whatever the pills did to me (I was even able to see myself in a forest looking up at large pine trees, in a beach, flying through a tunnel and even holding onto my chair feeling like I was being pulled, Just from marijuana and then an hour or more of meditation...), but when I began the hard task of trying to stop masturbating and to stop looking at pornography, every time I would try to see those patterns I would see images of naked women! Once I smoked a hallucinogen (salvia) and when I closed my eyes I saw an entire gallery of images of naked women slowly moving across my vision. I sadly tried to focus on them at one point and they immediately faded out. Then I asked ALLAH for forgiveness and BOOM the shaytaan brought them in just as clear as before)... So the patterns and beautiful colours images were nothing, my tolerance increased to the extreme, it was nothing for me anymore, just fogging my mind from remembering ALLAH to my fullest. I smashed all my smoking devices and that's the end of that pointless time of my life wasting my money and damaging my health. Sorry for rambling.... All this is true, if you don't believe. As I said in the other post, I'm not going to waste my or your time on pointlessness. Peace )

Hello brother. I too am of a bangladeshi background, however i live in the UK. To inform you a little i will tell you about myself. I am the great grandson of worldly renowned sufi scholar in Bangladesh named Saheb Qiblah Fultali. If you are not familiar with his work, you'll be able to research him fairly easily. Sufis are often condemned for their mystical approach to Islam as you will have seen with the recent attacks in the east. However you of all people must see that there is a lot more to this world than just simply categorizing everything as either black or white. There are those who are "Awliyah Allah" or close to Allah( link to more info -->http//www.allaahuakbar.net/misconceptions/121.htm These people are specially chosen (NOT PROPHETS OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS SHIRK) due to having a stronger sense of taqwa, iman and aman than others. They have their duas favoured due to their piety and trust in Allah. Anyway to clarify, I had a similar but thankfully less violent experience as yourself. My mother after a visit to Bangladesh had got a jinn in her. When she got back she acted extremely peculiar, condemning everything and always praising her father, as if she was defending him from accusations ( i have no clue) . Anyway we asked for my great grandfather to pray for my mother and I think a sort of exorcist kind of thing happened. Since then my great grandfather past away, but the Awliyah Allah is passed down every generation and once it is lost, it is lost forever. My grandfather or my mother's eldest uncle is now the Awliyah Allah. Him and his brothers all are learned scholars and sheikhs. They travel frequently across the globe to all sorts of locations where there is a bangladeshi community. I strongly urge you to try and talk to your brothers as they have rejected your mother's advice. Try over time to get him to come to terms with his behavioral changes. Then I would urge you and your family to seek advice from my grandfather and get the help you require. REMEMBER, BLACK MAGIC AND OTHER HARAM ACTS WILL RESULT IN YOU GOING TO HELL; ALLAH HAS PROVIDED MUSLIMS IN PARTICULAR PROTECTION. reciting the 4 "kuls" surahs during the 4 rakat fajr pray will almost certainly help you. May Allah protect you and your family

He didn't know ! He just played a game, has been lucky and almost fooled you and maybe some other members of your family. Explanation It's a bit like when a person (let's call her GranMa) is ill at the age of 80 in the visible realm, anyone, like this jinn, can say "GranMa will probably die in a week". Well, if I say that and if she dies 10 years later, nobody will pay attention to the sentence I pronounced about GranMa 10 years ago. But if she had died 7 days after that, people would have made me a seer or a prophet ! while I just said it like that...Also notice that I said "a week", but if GranMa had died 5 or 9 days after my sentence, people wouldn't have made a case about that, they would also have made me a prophet. Many possible reasons for that Because they don't know or don't have faith in the Quran, God's Law. For them, it is a revered book of holy incantations that is read during mariages and burial ceremonies, and that serves to adorn living room book shelves. 2)Because they have a weak reasoning, probably the result of too many years of watching TV (I know the subject, I've been a victim of TV too...) , or searching for God's knowledge on websites while, in fact, it's in the Quran. You know, just like we see that someone is old in age and probably nearer to death than before, some kind of "energetic weakness" may be seen in the invisible realm, that Jinns can see, when we're ill, or when about to die. A bad Jinn probably saw this in your aunt and thought "This person may probably die in a few days, if she doesn't energically recover, so let's play one of my favorite trick to make people doubt", and done ! voodoo The result is pretty effective, let us read I'm confused - I thought dead people didn't come back. She was adamant that it wasn't a dream. Can anyone give some insight? I think you're confused, Sister, because you didn't know, or didn't have faith in the story God told us about Prophet Solomon already dead, but with the Jinns not knowing it ( Quran 3414). If the Jinns didn't know for Solomon, how could they know for your aunt ? Am I right ?

...particular warning from the angel as augmented by the presence of the devil... to remind me that as long as I'm in their midst I will have this devil lurking about me placing me in danger. OK - I've recently been attending friday prayers at a local Islamic Center (of Sunni dominance) to meet other Muslims (since it's temptingly close to my home... ) and thus broaden my understanding of Islam - figured it would enhance my using of just the english translations of the Qur'an (and logic) to understand Islam. However, I have noticed this experience seems to expose me to the more 'backward' aspects of 'islamic' customs (such as the hadith and misinterprettion stuff that I dispute, not "Qur'an only" stuff thart inspires me), all of which I have so far been able to pretty much avoid getting dragged into. Could be that the Angel warning of the devil's pursuit of me was to prepare me for this, knowing I had recently acknowledged in my heart and mind that I was Muslim, it was also warning me that the devil could be pursuing me even around practicing Muslims where I thought it should be free of the devil's influence... Fortunately, I've also been searching a bit further than the nearby masjid, and have attended meetings of the "Muslims for Progressive Values" in Atlanta, where I don't see so much blind following of the hadith customs... but still I try to stay dilligently devoted to just the Qur'an (and God's direct inspirations) and hope to avoid straying from God's intended path. hail

Shalom Aleikhem, Well, I am not Einstein, but surely, I will try my best inshallah. Thank you, thank you ) Your argument would hold credibility if your experiment was on tiny and quantum levels. Just as gravity matters for us significantly but for an ant its not a big deal....mmm. Ok, let me elaborate on that. You see, for us, gravitational forces are a significant part of life. But for tiny creatures like ants, "surface tension" is much much and more significant than gravity. In the world of ants, surface tension is "the gravity" ...lol. In a similar sense, when you use an analogy, make sure that you are not trespassing the realms of significance of the phenomenons. On the experiments that you are doing(pk, psi wheels), quantum phenomenons are irrelevant. That is why I believe the analogy you provided is misleading. well, I think I'll swallow this for the mean time.. don't have much to prove or disprove, but if you watched this clip http//www.ted.com/talks/aaron_o_connell_making_sense_of_a_visible_quantum_object.html the scientist even dared to imagine and go beyond the quantum level to the normal day to day the ant stuff is funny though lol.. esp when they get stuck on water helplessly.. i feel sorry for them.. You can learn things from mmkhan. If you don't know what I meant by that, let that remain a mystery. Peace ------------- Student of Allah I'm hoping that he'd show up in this thread pr He likes to use the prayer icon ;D Peace

If you want more passion and faith... just move to a warmer country. Perhaps US is good... there you'll find passion for anything. Or go to India/Pakistan/Bangladesh... you'll find lots of passion. Or go to southern Europe. Just dive into any place with lots of people. Seek out any warm christian or muslim region... and you'll have passion. Unfortunately, as far as I have seen, the amount of passion also goes hand in hand with the same amount of madness... doesn't seem you can have either without the other. It's all the same everywhere, but at different intensities. Peace, and sorry for shock bumbing the thread

I think my meditation has taken me to a point where I understand jinn very well. Jinn/spirits, seem to be ghosts of unreal concepts. (aka idols, assigning infinity to universe, claiming random origins, etc) However in a divine mind, that can cause quite some perplexion. Therefore they may delude their believers into etablishing belief in them. Ultimately one can understand that that would cause hellfire. Absolute belief, in the unreal, and unnatural behaviour. Belief in multiple gods ultimately is a self-defilation on par with sexual abuse. On a lesser scale, feelings of promiscuity, and satan is the spirit of promiscuity. Typically when watching disbelievers popmusic, for instance. Note, I am not saying music is illegal, but it depends on who writes it. Feelings like that clearly is satan, when the other does not respect a relationship of trust, and simply goes on to the next "lover". A spirit free and peaceful mind, seems to come from correct dualistic (non-pantheistic) monotheistic teachings. Correct monotheistic belief, leads to a gradual purification of the mind. Prayer contains the most essential elements of faith, and therefore we talk of prayer and purification. One can also meditate on aspects of the creator, ultimately believing in it, and making it a part of ones monotheistic life. Peace.

Hi mmkhan!, I popped into the forum after reading the dream thread and posting there I found this most interesting post, but I don't have the aayaats you request of me this info I have taken from elsewhere. My post was based in the similarity of characteristics between the gods of old in the old sumerian tradition and the angels in later tradition. And many other parcial sources. I can't provide the aayaats, but I end my posting here. Farewell.

Peace, You are right to lay this quote... Many God Only Submitters in this site are misled by the ideas that Jinns are Hidden humans... Fantasies in the head of Humans... Metaphors to define mental illness, despair, hallucinations or delusions... etc. Despite not having instruments to prove they exist or not, only by twisting words and meanings in the Quran can we reach the above conclusions... which is surprising by Muslims who claim to base their understanding of the world through the guidance of Allah... Not accepting what Allah says in the Quran puts them in grave danger of becoming what they accuse the muslim "sectarians" to be... i.e. invent stories and explanations that make them more comfortable about certain aspects of the Quran they feel uneasy with... This is extremely disappointing from people such as pazuzu who seems to be open minded enough to shake the whole theology of Islam and Allah's Books by accepting and propagating very controversial (and maybe valid) works by Israeli and Christian scholars, but using the Arabic language to refute the existence of beings that the Quran and Allah describes very clearly and uncompromisingly... There is always the danger that using alternative meanings of words in any writing, one can get strange results... and that what seems to be fantastic or far fetched can after all be the truth... After all, germs and microbes did not exist before someone proved they did... Being at an advantage of having the Creator Himself warning that there are other Beings ought to be taken with gratitude, and not turned into derision to refute their existence by twisting meanings as Israelites scholars did for their Books... and in any event it is also an act of blasphemy...

Does M M Khan read the Quran enough to know that these are not the only verses in the Quran referring to the djinn. Has he read Surah Jinn to know that there are djinns who accepted Islam??? Does one need to quote the first few ayahs of surah Jinn? Are they not committed to memory?
