- The paired eight of ''baheemat el an3am'' which include
-Male and Female Goat
-Male and Female Sheep
-Male and Female Cattle
-Male and Female Camels
Excluding the blood, the dead and what is slaughtered for other than God. The male and female pig are forbidden. - All seafood.
- All what the land produces ie grains, vegetables and fruits.
All the rest (inluding all birds) are forbidden!
But what about eggs?! ??? Now I have to eat camel with milk for breakfast laugh

A Birthday cake is a food item dedicated to a person and the cake is specially made to celebrate an occasion of birth and it has the name of the birthday person so what would make it not harm as its has clearly name of other then God written on it.

But whoever is constrained (and eats of the forbidden food under compelling circumstances), without being disobedient (to His instructions) nor exceeding the limit (of dire necessity), no sin be upon him then. Allah is certainly most Forgiving (of the defaulters), most Rewarding (of the obedient).
Allah knows your innermost he knows that your intention so therefore birth day cake is not haram.jedi

The birthday cake issue can be looked at in the following way-
• There is a difference between making something for a person and dedicating it in a religious sense. In reality if you do not make this distinction, you can't eat anything a person cooks for you.
• When eating, you always remember the name of Allah in gratitude.
The point here is if you suspect that the person who makes the cake somehow worships you and dedicates the cake to you in some religious sense (like for example food a hindu may make for their religious festivals dedicated to one of their idols), then it is haram. However if someone is just making a cake, or any food for a person or group of people, we have no basis to say it is haram.
Please let me know if this makes sense to you.

You are putting the explanations in the brackets, I may appear fanatical but if you do not put your own understanding in the brackets then a birthday cake comes under harm food,

I know exactly what you are saying birthday cakes have become such an integral part of parties that no one would like to think twice. I too can take a modern logical approach but religious or not that is not the issue, I am simply looking at the red highlighted part of 2173 which clearly forbids any food dedicated to other then Allah and unlike rest of the party foods birthday cakes are definitely dedicated to a person's birth especially with the name of person written on it, yes

God evaluates peoples? deeds according to the intentions behind them. This meaning is referred to in the Qur?an when it talks about animals which are sacrificed during the rites of pilgrimage, where it says what means
(Al-Hajj 2237)
When you offer that food in the name of deity or saint then it become haram but the name on birthday cake is not written with same intention.
Now let me tell you something in Yemen sheikhs sends Mangos to Japan to encrypt their name on it and offering them to their guests and friend do you want to say that is haram if you write my name on a goat not considering me a god or something like that does it make that goat haram. nope

- If you order a pizza, they may have your name on the order, the pizza will be made just for you, as you want it. Would you eat it?
I want to know exactly what your understanding is before I discuss more.
