All I did was translating 5-38 "Word by Word"...and here you go, free-minds.org loyal member started attacking me and calling me a Sectarian and Fitna.
Well, the Truth sometimes makes certain people act like this...And that is why I use the "Words of my Lord " as Bullets to Hunt those who hate the Truth...And in doing so, their Blood System tends to get missed up. But those who Love God's Words, the Bullets becomes Food for their Pure Souls.

If the Quran was easy to interpret so many people will not be having this many opinions, there would not be many sects and people will have no need to be wound up and start name calling. Now I am not the moderator or anything so you can ask me to shift if you like but when you try to reason with someone and they do not reason then there is a old saying "I pushed, it pushed not. No need for curses brothers. But one should know that impossing ones opinions and translations on others is not going to work. When I ask to butcher to "E-Qata 2 pound of Meat", He would Cut one 2 Lb piece from the whole Cow (The verb action is one action)...Then the Butcher would ask me by saying "Do you want to "Te-Qatta the piece of Meat" into small pieces (the Verb action would be repeated).
Thus, 5-33 refers to repeating the Action of Cutting in order to cut Legs and Hands, and 5-38 refers to Cut one thing (the Hand/s).
538 is refering to hands so your conclusion is incorrect. There are two different words that you are trying to force into the same meaning...The result of which is what we see here.
And as I told you and everyone who wants to use 12-75 as punishment for Thief, you are promoting "Slavery", because that was the Punishment in 12-75.
The punishment for the thief has always been 538 as has been pointed out many times (not 1275). Yet, rather than try to understand the verse correctly by using the Quran, you are trying to force an erronous interpretation using a very faulty knowledge of Arabic and no cross referenceing to similar verses (tarteel) - this is why 1275 comes up, because students of the Quran understand the need to arrange similar subjects/topics together as suggested by God (734) so as not to be miseld into a wrong interpretation.
Finally, 1275 only has slavery to your mindset (the same mind that wants to force a double amputation for theft!). Joseph held his brother in custody for the alleged theft - he did not own him (slavery is never permitted in the Quran).
