You have yet to prove Gabriel/human messengers/angel messengers bring SOMETHING OTHER than the truth... I also think that love for the Prophet and love and respect for the Qur'an only as the word of God are not only not contradictory, but go hand in hand. It is no mean feat to have been able to transmit whole and faithful the revelation, complete, word by word. Nobody has done that before the Prophet Muhammad. We must be thankful to God for him and must have for Muhammad, as God's beloved envoy, a sincere respect and reverence, as a most brilliant creature of our Sovereign. We cannot respect the Qur'an and think at the same time that its transmissi?n faithfully to us was some chance occurrence, and not an act of love for mankind, from God, and from His envoy.
On the other hand it is understandable that where there have been excesses one way, there should be excesses afterwards the other way. We should try to avoid them.

for the record, I an not a 19er, I do not follow or even respect Khalifa. I love and respect all prophet's of Allah and make no distinction among any of them as 2.285 instructs.

Have you ever considered all the hadiths that write about Mohammed in a very, very, very immoral way. What direction he stands when peeing, Mohammed talking openly about sexual intercourses with his wife Ayisha, etc. etc. The followers of these hadiths love and respect Mohammed so much they even try to look like him. If that is not irony then I don't know what is.
How can you make us into Mohammed haters when all we do is see him for what he was, a messenger of God, the one who delivered the Quran?Please do not mix 19 with QA, I (and probably some more active on this forum) spent too much time getting people to see there is a difference.

This is an honest observation and I agree with you assessment. Many people here act like their wisdom is equal to or greater than that of Prophet Muhammad. And if you carefully read their writing you will find that they are contradictory, incoherent and they are clueless as to the implication of their writing. These people know not to perform brain surgery on other because they realize they don?t have the knowledge and the skill to do so but when it comes to the religion they think they are on the top. In my opinion, this is an egoistic behavior.

And if you carefully read their writing you will find that they are contradictory, incoherent and they are clueless as to the implication of their writing. These people know not to perform brain surgery on other because they realize they dont have the knowledge and the skill to do so but when it comes to the religion they think they are on the top.
