I think one can get so much into semantics and not realise that Allah/The God is beyond words. Even Allah can have meanings with images/idols...look at those that pray to the Kaaba revering Allah....does that mean one should not use Allah to describe The Creator?? There are arab christians that still use Allah as part of Trinity. So I still think this position of There is no God is just a game of semantics, it is essentially down to having the correct understanding and belief of our Creator rather than what to call our Creator.
    PEACE

I'm sure this may have been addressed before, but is Allah the Tao?

      Salaam,

      wiki says
Tao or Dao is a metaphysical concept originating in Daoism that has been adopted in Confucianism, Ch?n and Zen Buddhism and more broadly in East Asian religions and ancient Chinese philosophy. While the word itself literally translates as 'way', 'path', or 'route', or sometimes more loosely as 'doctrine' or 'principle', it is generally used to signify the primordial essence or fundamental aspect of the universe. In Daoist philosophy the word Dao is not generally considered to be a 'name' for a 'thing' it is a reference to the natural order of existence, often referred to as the "eternally nameless? (Dao De Jing-32. Laozi) to distinguish it from the countless 'named' things which are considered to be its manifestations. In Buddhism and Confucianism, by contrast, Dao has come to refer to the outcome of meditative or moral practices (respectively), which is closer in meaning to the Daoist concept of De (virtue).

This seems to agree with the Qur'anic perspective of Allah.

Religion, worship, adoration, fear of an invisible being, government, parliament, politicians, constitution, legislation, other authorities, personal ownership of resources are the main things that should disappear from this world. You cannot enforce these things.

Just as yourself, what is the point of worshiping an invisible being called God that tells you that he loves you, but if you don't love him back, is going to burn you forever?

        Have some sense people.

No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things.

Allah is above comprehension, above who? Incomprehensible.

            Salaam Abdun Nur,

I have gone through this post little bit (not the whole of it).

What is your view on the Hereafter?

and who created us? and who sent the Quran?

              Salaam Ahmed,

my view of the here after is, we are in what you would consider the here after, we have never been anywhere else, it is only in what we perceive, you perceive you are in this world, you perceive a different understanding after you wake up from the sleep of this reality.

Some people wake up while they are in the world of the sleepers, like Muhammad, and these people can function in the same way a man who is awake can act compared to a room full of sleepers, he can see what is obvious, he can wake others, he can explain in the ears of the dreamers, and they can gain some benefit.

If you want to understand the concept of Allah you should read http//servantofthelight.com/content/view/92/1/

This is correct. But there is also the Last Day.

The nature is that we are already at judgement day. For instance now I am in the process of saying "Ah, here is my record, read it" just as people create autobiographies.

However there is a REAL judgement day which occurs post-death and it is every bit a grievous day as described in the quran. And then you will read my REAL holographic record which will reveal all.

                Peace

Of course there is God, cos if the world created from nothing then it only creates nothing (0=1-1, nothing will always equal to nothing). God gave proof of his existence through many things..

"Visible proofs have come to you from your Lord; so whoever can see, does so for himself, and whoever is blinded, does the same. I am not a watcher over you." (6104)

                          Salaam nurmuhammed,

could you provide the evidence to support your conclusion, have you considered all arguments and investigated all available avenues of reason that could get to the truth, or have you simply stated a bind faith based opinion, founded on the majority view, never investigated, never even considered from any perspective except simple thoughtless acceptance, and as the Qur'an wisely states the majority are at a loss.

I realise you have not taken the time to read any of the thread, that would require effort, and as you express opinions without any effort, it is clear effort is not your strong point.

I can't imagine how a Godless concept could be considered by someone whose avatar is such as nurmuhammed. Is the focus presented by the image other than religious?

                                    Salaam,

I read a little to understand what he means, he totally lost me here

The Arabic word is not one word. It actually consist of three words in this order. First word is =Allathee means "who is". This in writing is well know to be only written as or Al but this Al does not mean "the". It is followed by , Laa, meaning "not" and finally , illah, meaning the pagan Arab God or God in general. Hence the whole phrase would translated as "who is not god".

I wonder how he understand this
                                    5922 ...
according to his understanding we have to understand this part of this verse as "He who is not god, who is not god except He..."
                                    nope

                                    Salaam,

                                        hi Abdun Nur,
Man, to say GOD or ALLAH is not wrong. Because we are talking here about same sole creator.
It is just a language differences man.

                                        • Important thing when a human translates words from Quran human shall translate it very carefully, I mean with optimal dictionary base. !

                                        Hello everyone,

My understanding is that a God, a unique God, never-the-less a GOD, admits a deity, deism, religion, adoration etc..., etc... etc... These whole activities consist in distraction in learning about allah and his dean as guidance for we, his creation and most importantly in doing the activities that serve allah's will for his creation. If your belief is held with blind faith, tradition, dogma, etc... rather than a belief upheld with science, knowledge, learning, reflection, etc... than admit such beliefs have different values. They produce different activities. Allah is rabb, rabb is the creator. So basically the idea is to forget GOD, forget religion and those two words DO NOT mean allah and dean. But then, this understanding could be wrong...

                                        Peace,

                                        adjwi

p.s. I suggest going easy with the 'man' as it sounds lacking respect
