In Classical Arabic, the term "walad" is applied to one's child of any age and of both genders.

The term "ibn" is reserved exclusively for one's male child. In contrast, the term "ibnah" is applied to one's female child.

There are several Modern Arabic dialects that retain this distinction.

These definitions are ascertainable with proof, which, unfortunately, can't be said of many other opinions in this thread.

Peace uq -- context forms gender; if always translate walad as child any sex never get inheritance correct ...

411 ... if kana/he is (m. singular) to him (i.e. deceased) walad/born (if to person was a male born or son)
412 and for you half what left spouses yours if not was for them walad/born (if no child any sex)

    Peace brother,

Yes I agree that mean beget/begot because it means 'gives rise to', which may refer to children or a building. So, does not necessarily means 'a son'. And I am sorry to say that I disagree with the red part above for alQuraan.

Red If so, then how could we differentiate between our own parents, grand parents or fore fathers? How do we understand whom exactly this word is referring to?

Correct! So, it means walad means son? 1221 also support this, inshaAllah.
For offspring I think zurriyat is the word used in alQuraan.
Do you mean, yad means reach? Something in your reach?

Peace mmkhan, apply careful cross-reference and use context ...

411 ? and to parents both his

1299 so when entered they on Joseph he took to him parents both his and said enter yeh Egypt if willed the god safe 12100 and raised parents both his on the throne ...

2133 or were you witnesses when comes Jacob the death when said to offspring his what thou serving from after me said they we serve deity yours and deity fathers/forefathers yours Abraham and Ismail and Isaac deity one and we are for him muslimuna/peacemaking

    1. I have an apple is in my YAD
    2. I have the power in my YAD

What is the similarity between YAD in 1 and YAD in 2?

But again this is how I understand it. I could be totally wrong. I use this method for every word in The Quran. Because there are no discrepancies in The Quran. And giving same words different meanings/concepts at different places is for sure in my eyes a discrepancy.
I can twist every word in my favour and who is then able to judge me wrong then?

    482

Salaam Bender, there is no contradiction if using context for correct meaning.

Do you agree in context below it is referring to washing one's literal hands?
56 ... so wash yeh faces yours and hands yours to the elbow and wipe yeh heads yours and feet yours to the ankles both...

Do you agree in context below it is referring to one's reach/means to perpetrate?
4824 and he the one withheld hands theirs about you and hands yours from them...
538 and the thief (m) and the thief (f) so cut yeh hands theirs both...

        Salaamun alyka brother,

        I already got a warning from a > MmKhan for going off-topic &
But to give a quick answer, no I do not think yad in 56 means literal hands.
If you like you we can discuss this further in an other topic.

          Salaam all,

          • =

          = Bitter

          = Sea

          = Bitter Sea = Chrolophyl

Photosynthesis is the process of converting light energy to chemical energy and storing it in the bonds of sugar. Plants need only light energy, CO2, and H2O to make sugar. The process of photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplasts (Zechariah, specifically using chlorophyll (Mariam). In the process Oxygen is also produced.

The overall chemical reaction involved in photosynthesis is

          6CO2 + 6H2O (+ light energy) C6H12O6 + 6O2.
          (MALAIKA)

This is the source of the O2 (Eisa) we breathe, and thus, a significant factor in the concerns about deforestation.
There are two parts to photosynthesis. They are called the light reaction and the dark reaction

          The ozone-oxygen cycle (http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozone-oxygen_cycle)

It is the process by which ozone is continually regenerated in the Earth's stratosphere, all the while converting ultraviolet radiation (UV) into heat. Most of the ozone production occurs in the tropical upper stratosphere and mesosphere.

          Chemistry

An oxygen molecule is split (photolyzed) by higher frequency UV light (top end of UV-B, UV-C and above) into two oxygen atoms

          O2 + 2O (Crucifixion of Eissa)

Each oxygen atom then quickly combines with an oxygen molecule to form an ozone molecule

          O + O2 O3 (Upliftment of Eissa)

GOD raised Eissa above, the place that we know as Ozone Layer.

          Salaam!

It seems you have confused two different words.

              And

Both are completely different words and roots with completely different meanings.

Again, thank you for your post and your remark
it is, i think, much more important than you think.

OM (and derivates OMMI, OMMA,OMMATON, AMATON) is to compare to WALIDA
AB, ABOU is to compare to WALID.
IBN is to compare to WALAD and ADYIA (&#1614

we have to look again here
3340 Mohammed is not ABA of any of your men, but he is the messenger of God and the seal of the prophets. And God is fully aware of all things.

the opposition of ABA of any and Messenger of god is strange.

We have also to look again to Zayd case.
i ask allah to forgive me to have looked in hearsays. But there it is said that Zayd was only 10 years younger than Muhammad. It is also said that it was Khadija who gave "Zayd" as gift as slave the day of marriage. That mean, Zyad began to be slave of Muhammad when Zayd was 15 and Muhammad 25 (15 years before revelation according to hearsays).
Zayd was known as "zayd Ibn Muhammad".
What mean then Adya ? is that mean adopted son or simply someone who take the name of ?

335 Name them (adya) by their Aba. That is more just with God.....
Problem how to name boys from unknown father ?

                        and how to understand this
3337 ...... to establish that there is no wrongdoing for the believers in marrying the wives ADYA if their relationship is ended. And the command of God is always done.

of course we have to understand also why bani is used with Bani Israel and Bani Adam and not to BANI Ibrahim or Bani Ismail...

Dear mmkhan, do you mind in what huge problem you put islam in ?

                        Thank you again.

                        Peace

In verse 546 Ibn = son. It is a noun.

In verse 6611 the word is "Bin" Imperative form of the verb Ba Na Na - Build.

The nun sounds double because diacritic named shaddah.

Hans Wher contains Classical Arabic - its a mid level concise dictionary.

                                    Peace

                                    Salaam brother noshirk,

I am sorry to say that you did not understand your post et all.
And the references you quoted which I don't believe in, disturbs me when I tried to understand your post.
Can you please rephrase your sentences and try to be specific to the word of Allah please? Thanks.

As long as you know that both are different words . . .

In verse 546 Ibn = son. It is a noun.

In verse 6611 the word is "Bin" Imperative form of the verb Ba Na Na - Build.

I have a problem with red and blue highlighted parts above.
Red Why should I ignore the 'alif' when Allah as added it on purpose?
Blue If it is from the root Ba Noon Noon, then there must be a shadda on noon as you suggested in other reply of yours.

Yes that is correct. However - Arabic does not have roots that are composed of two letters . The minimum is three.

Pronunciation? We are talking about the TEXT not about its recitation.
