          Peace all
I would like to clarify why I'm arguing about this issue (Pylogamy).
I know from Quran that God have clarified that Man is allowed to Marry four women (taking into consideration all the conditions).
But Sadly, many Quran Aloners are arguing against it, and trying to ignore the Facts that Most of Prophets had done it.
Thus, I'm trying to show that Psychologically Man is capable of marring four women; nevertheless, I'm not promoting nor encouraging Polygamy to Men or Myself, after all, Polygamy is not ordered upon Men to do (obligatory), but a choice if they can fulfill its conditions.

I voted yes, taking into consideration my understanding of Man Love to Woman

Male is to care for the Female (fulfill her psychological and bodily needs) and provide protection to here and her kids (prevent the psychological and bodily harms).

Please be aware that many Males will be Chickened out from replying in writing &.

"Their wives will slice them if they found out about their Inner Opinion rotfl

          Peace

              Peace to all,

Hey, I have courage, I voted first, I just didnt want to comment until I thought about it abit, I voted no, and I dont think the Quran really allows us to marry four woman, it allows it only on certain circumstances to marry the widowed mothers of orphans, i think this is the only time its considered better than to marry just one wife, and it makes sense to me, its better hat a child and a mother have a father also, and if shes widowed and without a husband then its ok for a man to marry another woman. But the Quran also says if not these specific circumstances, then only one, and also if we fear we cant be just with each wife then only to marry one. So I thin that it would be unjust to one woman if we were also in love with another at the same time, so since this is an injustice , the Quran says to marry only one.

Where are the other three who voted yes like me rotfl

                Hey, I have courage

She meant courage for the ones who voted yes.

IornShy, do you think that Prophet Abraham was wrong to Marry Hajar?

                How about this Verse
                (&#65279
O prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated with thee; and any believing woman who gave herself to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess in order that there should be no difficulty for Thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (33-50)

Do not you agree that what you said above is not confirmed by the verse.

May God Show us the truth.
                Peace

I'd say it's possible but that most people probably wouldn't be capable. Some men aren't even capable of loving themselves or their family, let alone a woman. Multiple women? Takes a good man. But I wouldn't say that it's impossible.

                    Peace to all,

Belh, the verse you quote specifically says,, " O Prophet, and then this is only for thee and not the believers at large" so the lawful marriage of those woman is legal for him, and also since Abraham was a prophet I would assume this was legal for him also since he was a prophet too, then notive 4-2 and three, it is adreesed " OH MMankind, then it specifically talks about how to treat orphans and there property and how to be just to them it says to marry their mothers 2 , 3, or 4, but if you cant be just to them, then only 1. So since im not a prophet, and since im not even currently just to my only wife, I doubt I could be just to 3 more, and I also dont believe it would be just for me to love another woman while im in love with my wife, though I may feel I can be she may not think and feel good about it, so this isnt just for her. . Only God knows.

I did not vote, of course, but if I were to vote I would have voted "yes". Some men can and some women can too. Humans can do many things. But what does this have to do with marriage? We love someone, we marry another who is more accepted by the society, the family, the circumstances...etc. This one may prove to be a good person too that we ultimately love too, but it does not mean we will stop loving the first one....This is a scinareo that happens to men and women alike. God is regulating this. No prohibition of loving more than one, but don't act upon it and marry all those you love. Marry the single, except on certain condition.

The only love I have experienced is with my family. And that consists of many individuals. I assume love with a spouse would be different so I withhold judgment (voted maybe).

Why would it be for a female? Do we know of a female in history that married more than a husband (99 husbands, for example)? They can do without a husband, even give birth without a husband

                                          salam jasmin.

Come on guys!!!!?? Your not serious? 60%?why?

please show some respect for the opinions of the men. to claim the men are not serious is disrespectful to the men.
you cannot set aside the men's opinion by claiming men are not serious.

men are required to obey allah, and if allah says something is persmissible for men, a mans right, men will protect
their rights, even if women try and deprive men of their rights.

how can a woman display unhappiness with what allah has instituted?

the ultimate love, is the love of allah, and allah's love for mankind. should we be unhappy that allah loves others as
well? no that would be wrong.

allah has a justice in the system he created. a wife, first has an intimate relationship with her husband. then the wife
has an even more intimate relationship with her children. as a result, a wife has an intimate relationship with more than
one person, the husband and the children. the husband has an intimate relationship with the wife, and not an intimate
realtionship with the children. justice and fairness dictate, that if a wife can have more than one intimate relationship
then a husband must also have the same, more than one intimate relationship. anything else would be unjust.

i use the term intimate, to describe the fact that a child grows inside a wife's body, and a child does not grow inside
                                          a husbands body.

                                          allah is justice.
