yes I read it now, that verse you posted says the ratio of land and sea is constant. wow, I didn't know that. Thanks

Well, the ratio will not change until the time of the earth is finished, since the hour is near and we have the ratio in the Quran. If you understand, good for you, if not...

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

I'm very sorry for not responding to your posts...
I'm not sure what I didnt answer from your questions. Maybe you should post that again.
This thread is indirectly about code 19, since it proves the Quran's authenticity, as well as the occurences of words like "yawm" - whether you acknowledge or not.

You're right about wasting time - such debates about code 19 dont really lead to anywhere other than wasting time.

      Peace

Well, my main point was that why divide by 475, when 365 is the number you/edip assert is the 'important' one (days in a year). And you said, "Dude, leave the whole 475 issue aside now.." That's not addressing the point, by any means.

That is your perception. There's a reason we have an exclusive section for code 19.

what factors could possibly change this ratio?

It is enough that the Quran mentions "yawm" 365 times - for me at least. Of course this number is not divisible by 19, but that doesnt matter, because it is the number of days in a year. What is the problem with that?

Do you accept that it is mentioned 365 times in the Quran or not? Besides, why did you INSIST upon rejecting this fact. FYI, you are confusing code 19 with the occurences of words - two different things.

That is your perception. There's a reason we have an exclusive section for code 19.

Oh so now we can only post things when they accord with your opinion?

          1. I posted about the occurences of words.
          2. The divisibility of 475 by 19 must of frightened you that you respond like that. People who reject the code just have ninteenphobia.
          3. If I want, I can argue my points with code 19 - if it is my opinion that it exists then I have the right to that. I am not going by your opinion.

Anyways, I thought you wanted to move away from the 19 thing - so lets do that (for now).

you didn't count many singular occurrences of word "yawm". so what you are saying is not correct.

Just wanted to comment on this one, because I just noticed how illogical/invalid this was

How consistent... 2 words for 'days' (ayyam, yawmayn) were chosen. Yet, only one word is okay for 'day'.

I'm not sure if you even know just the basics of Arabic, but there is a singular form, a dual form and a plural form of a noun.

Since when grammatical signs makes a word simple or complex? CA grammar has absolutely nothing to do with Arabic. And I am sure this is not even your method in collecting words.

The problem with this is that this is not an objective criteria, and thus misleading. You didn't use 365 because it's not divisible by 19. If it was, you would have used it. That's my point. Sometimes you add numbers up to 19, sometimes you multiply. It's not consistent. And where in the quran does it say to count multiples of 19?

No phobia of 19 here. I used to buy into 19, until I realized it's equivalent to taking a sugar pill. And, I am just using it to make the quran look 'miraculous'. I don't need a 19 miracle to have me believe If the quran is the word of God.

Sure, believe what you want. I never said otherwise; didn't intend to anyway.

When did I say that I reject how many times yawm is mentioned? My point was you only took the singular yawm only because it added up to 365.

                              rotfl rotfl rotfl

That single phrase throws 19 out the window.

You are building a straw man i.e. I never maid such claims. In future, don't think for me, thanks. Note I was simply commenting on the words Edip counted or didn't count. End of story.

That single phrase throws 19 out the window.

You are building a straw man i.e. I never maid such claims. In future, don't think for me, thanks. Note I was simply commenting on the words Edip counted. End of story.

                                      1. The whole 365 days thing is not about code 19 - get that out of your head
                                      2. I dont care who you were commenting on, your statement was just illogical. There is a dual and a plural form in arabic and both can be counted. There is no problem with that.

The word in red means "their day" too!!

                                        Nice try!

751 Allatheena ittakhathoodeenahum lahwan walaAAiban wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya faalyawma nansahum kamanasoo liqaa yawmihim hatha wama kanoobi-ayatina yajhadoona

Anyways, I dont think this discussion is leading to anywhere useful. Why are you trying to refute the fact that "yawm" is mentioned 365 times in the Quran.

Note to The Joker it has nothing to to with code 19.
