What about chicken? Don't they eat worms and centipedes etc? Doesn't that make them predators? Is chicken prohibited then?

If everything from sea is allowed then there would be no distinction from" catch of the sea and his food "

I don't believe that in the Reading everything from the sea is allowed
I prefer to believe that wild sea animals which we take/catch (and also wild fishes from lakes and rivers) are lawful to eat.
Ever slaughter fishes? Not too much blood coming out, so it's not as scary as slaughtering the animals that live on land.
However, to be honest, I don't support the brutal dolphin hunts. Dolphins are sweet and friendly animals, so I prefer to not eat them.

To understand 6145 you had to post it together with 51"O you who believe, honor your contracts. Made lawful for you are the animals of the livestock, except that which is being recited to you. You are not permitted to hunt the game while you are under restriction. God decrees as He pleases."
So grazing animals are lawful except that which is beeing recited in 6145"Yusuf Ali Say "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."
So every grazing animals are lawful but not the following of 6145 dead animals or blood poured forth(every animal that is bleeding when you cut its vens)...every big fish which is splashing blood falls under this category..

Also, I was thinking... why is it mentioned "blood poured forth" and not just "blood"? Why the distinction "poured forth"? What is the actual connotation in Arabic of the corresponding wording?

16115;In these ayats the unlawful things are described with an article only 6145 is describing in verbs.Without 6145 one is thinking that just Blood is unlawful written as "ad-Dam" but 6145 is going in detail by telling every creature which is bleeding (if you cut it)with high presure is unlawful.

I understand the blood poured forth means blood which comes out of animal's body when the animal is cut. And it is not just said blood because many people think that spleen is nothing but a collected blood. So, to avoid confusion it is clearly mentioned as the poured forth blood.

Even though they spend half of the time on land, they are not called tortoise but turtles, in this way I think these are considered as the animals of ocean. BTW, I am wondering does crocodiles live in oceans? hmm I think they don't.

You wrote that 1614 is implying that all in the ocean is hallal but it doesnt say that,only that there is fresh meat in the ocean to eat but not all Kind of animal in the water.
Also the ihram vers doesn't say that ALL catch of the sea and his Food is allowed.Please think about it.

Let's have a look at other scriptures which Food we are allowed to eat.
Leviticus 119-12
"These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto youThey shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you." -
