Just a question, do not put your name if you don't want to. But answer truthfully.

I fast through out the year on and off at different times of the day and have been doing so for the past two years. I don't feel any more pious but my glycogen reserves and endurance have increased.

I love the fasting month! I'm at my strongest then, strangely enough. Even the 'Warrior Diet' isn't quite the same as Ramadan fasting.

Why do you feel strongest then? Do you mean spiritually or physically?

                          Peace,
                          Respectfully.

I'm not boasting and portraying myself as a better person by saying this but last two years i tried something new i was fasting for seven consecutive months, without stopping an it helped me, really, because i've been depressed for several years and i've been having problems with a full plate - can't say no to food.

Once you go to months and months of fasting, you learn control and obediance.
Thank God The MOST Merciful for Guidance.
I'm grateful to The Exalted God The MOST Merciful for guiding me.
                          Peace.

Physically, I'm like a hyperactive jock. Very alert also. You'd think an empty stomach = weak but naw, doesn't happen to me. I used to feel weak though until I realised it's just conditioning. One day, I read about soldiers doing PT while fasting, construction workers working while fasting and I thought "Well if they can do it, so can I". Dehydration is a big problem however, so I won't force it if I can't.

                              Does nuts for me spiritually.

Yes I can see the dehydration problem especially in the country you live and here too.
