Maryam Isa's Mother doing prayers (salat maybe) with men ? 3:43

Maybe you should try therapy, FAR. peace
The red sentence "men have a degree over them (women). do you have any explanation of that verse too ?
You can check out the links I posted, they provide a discussion of the whole verse.
sometimes Truth hurts.
Which truth? That you are trying to suggest I might be a man in disguise? Hey, you can imagine me in whatever way that suits your fancy if that makes you feel better. -* Do you think I am not aware of the tactics of people who have an issue with strong-minded women? Suggesting they are all ugly, men-hating Lesbians devoid of any female traits is sooo old; it actually amazes me that some people seem to think this works.
I even read a text about feminism by some sheikh once who claimed that "some of those feminists are even growing beards."

Why would I? I know there were lots of people who raised a huge fuss when she led her first prayer. So what? If I were to be impressed by what the majority thinks and does, I wouldn't be on this board in the first place.
Irrelevant. See above.
I didn't expect you would.
I know what an imam is. )
Just because you have been brainwashed all your life to believe that women are somehow inferior and that only men can hold positions of authority or be spiritual guides, does not mean that is right.Like it or not, women leading mixed prayers is happening and will continue to be happening, no matter how much you and your likes are going to stomp your feet and scream bida and apostasy.
Yeah, we discussed that before. No need to yell at me though. )
Women leading mixed prayers?
Side by side? Touching? Rough skin on soft warm skin?
And group hugs afterwards? group
I'm all for women praying with men, well behind men, support them. Just like on the battlefield.

Quran 8329-36
Strike 1, 2 and 3! Your out!
Can you explain the relation between those verses that you have stated with what I wrote in red ?
-
Yeah, women are such soft, beautiful and helpless creatures. That's why cuddling babies and serving our menfolk is pretty much the only thing we're good for. And without the control protection and leadership of a strong man who makes our decisions for us and makes sure we don't deviate from the right path, we will be lost and lonely.

That cannot be true. Men are the helpless creatures that need their female friends to help support their faith and grow together as a community.

Is this the Muhsin-Khan translation? The phrase "to Allah and their husbands" is not in the original. I posted an explanation of this verse and some of the terms in question above.
And please skip the personal digs at me, that's just childish and does not belong into a discussion.
Women are obedients to the god the prophet and those who have authority amongst them. That is their obedience. A manager may not be an authority figure. Especially when men and women in marriage nikah make a contract to be partners equal taking different roles. They may each need to be authoritative in their specific fields and give leaway to each other in their specific fields.

This whole post made me laugh because after all I didn't mean that, it was a slip of tongue from you yay (this is what you feel) .
I mean by the truth is that digging on you, hurts you (maybe because you have suffered before and the cause was from men). hmm

Aha, and who are you to interpret the verse ? . do you know what does "" means ?
ok what about this verse "And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them. And All?h is All-Mighty, All-Wise."

Degree of what? A degree... of responsibility. Not of authority. That is what quran 434 states.

Also refer to quran 3195

PLEASE check your references BEFORE you post. This is verse 434 and NOT 344. There may be people reading this site to LEARN and you are misleading them in quoting wrong verse numbers as well as wrongly quoting the words of God.
Give leaway, he's backwards writing obviously.

You laughed at the believer, just like the jews laughed at the believers and the prophet. As referenced in Surah Al-Mutaffifeen verses 29 till the end.
Repent before it's too late.

The issue under discussion is of divorce and not the rights of husbands and wives.

and their husbands have in this first divorce greater right for taking them back if those husbands have decided to straighten/reconcile matters;
http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/002.0294.gif
and for divorcee wives is a right like the one husbands have upon them in accordance with the known norms of the society; and husbands have priority/precedence once. The Relative Pronoun is singular. Divorce can happen twice in life. In case of divorce on a second occassion in life, the decision power shall vest with wife whether she wish to remain with him or seperate.
