Maryam Isa's Mother doing prayers (salat maybe) with men ? 3:43

No, I wouldn't be interested in marrying a man who wears make-up. Why would I? ??? ??? ???
why would you ? is what I want to know .
if you're not going to marry a man who does make up, why would a man marry a woman who wears Jean like him or works as soldier like him or she is Imam like him.
That said, I do like the khol some of the traditional Arabs and Bedouins wear. So if one of those dark handsome Arabs came riding by on a beautiful horse and he happened to have long-lashed, khol-lined eyes, I might re-consider ...
Oh I have to admit that these eyes are so georgous lol ) like mine rotfl

wow, well that makes complete sense.
tell me reformer, do you sit to pee?
women do, so why would a woman want to marry a man that sits to pee?
Thats about the strength of your logic ;D

A man wearing make-up is the same thing as a woman wearing Jeans? ??? And what's the problem with a man and a woman doing the same job? Why should you not want to marry someone who does the same job? Are you saying a woman who works as a soldier or an imam will not get married? With all respect, that's utter nonsense. Yes, female soldiers marry male soldiers all the time; female truck drivers marry male truck drivers; CEOs marry CEOs and so on.
Do you define your gender solely through the work you do???? ??? ???

If he is following the sunnah, he should. http//foolstown.com/sm/old.gif
It is not haraam for a man to urinate standing up, but it is Sunnah for him to urinate sitting down, because ?Aa?ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said ?Whoever tells you that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to urinate standing up, do not believe him. He only ever used to urinate sitting down.? (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Tahaarah, 12; he said, this is the most saheeh report on this topic. It was also classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi, no. 11). And because this is more concealing, and it reduces the risk of any drops of urine splashing up onto him.

A woman with a nice well ... and wearing jeans... better than a man wearing make up. But for me, a female between 16-24 ouch... whether she's wearing jeans, hijab or whatever pretty, even pretty voice.
I would love to marry someone I could work with. Too bad none of the women would hire oneself.

So... you're saying Mary had a beard as well?

peace thereformer1,
I recall reading somewhere in which you said you know Arabic. I may be mistaken, because if that is true you would not have posted a blatantly incorrect rendering of "Alrrijalu qawwamoonaAAala alnnisa-i bima faddalaAllahu baAAdahum AAala baAAdin wabimaanfaqoo min amwalihim"
Can you tell the forum the significance of "baAAdin" being masculine plural? Thanks.
Once you answer, then we can discuss the significance of "bi ma" (by/with what) which brackets/limits the scope of "qawwamoona".
And seeing as people are inserting pics, here is one you might find interesting

http//quran434.com/promo/DV-banned.gifI would imagine that it would be according to it being an indefinite.
http//corpus.quran.com/wordmorphology.jsp?location=%2843410%29Rather than plural... a reference to the general case of the term. Such as "a cat", as in there are many "a cats". But only one "the god".
Or am I missing the point here?

Peace TheReformer1 et al.
I believe your understanding of 434 is flawed. Maybe you should read Waqas's website or some of Amina Wadud's analysis of 434.
Also the verse you cited (3333) is directed towards the wives of the prophet who, if you read 3332, are not like "any other women." The prophet's treatment of his own sex life has always bothered me; he sort of gets his own rules with his wives as compared to everyone else.
"And I've heard a beautiful voice of a man reciting Quran and I did listen to the message more than his voice and his voice was like a flame in understanding very well the message and I really felt the difference, so it is God's will."
You seem to have super imposed how something affects you as "Gods will." In fact, the contradiction in your logic is presented here,
"No, we should ban the one who thinks that this imam has a nice Bottom because he will make Fitna plus his sex deviation, why would a person thinks that Imam has a nice Bottom? "
If that is the case, I think we should ban you from listening to Amina Abo Zaid's beautiful voice because of your inability to concentrate on the message. This is a clear indication of your immodesty and if the man who sins by concentrating on the imams bottom should be kicked out, you should be kicked out. Sister Zaid on the other hand should be allowed to continue to use her beautiful voice just like the imam with the nice bottom should be allowed to continue to lead prayer.
Finally, I would like to deal with this quote,
"As you said "In your opinion" .If we take everyone's opinion, there will be no need of obeying Quran or God .
We do not restrict people from their freedom, but I think you know that freedom is always with limits or frontier."My opinions I would like to think are based on the Quran. Yet, I say "in my opinion" because I do not possess certainty that my knowledge is not clouded by my uniqueness and that I have found the objective meaning of the Quran. In fact, no one does. Anytime we look at the Quran and interpret it, our understanding is our opinion. Sure there is an objective core but human diversity ensures that we all have different nuances in how we understand the Quran. So when you posit that taking everyones opinion would negate the need to obey the Quran, you fail to recognize that as of now, everyone, including you, is offering their opinion as to what it means to obey the Quran and God. That is why I argued that this should be settled through democratic means, or mutual consulation (shura); we need to find a way to reconcile all the diverse opinions about the Quran.
Peace

So I take it you women both now need a ghusl because your bodies couldn't handle it?
???
-
Although Islam is almost silent on a women leading prayers for Men and women both, but even if one has to lead the prayer she should at least not have following thoughts; this event was total conspiracy against Islam
amina wadud
claimed that "same sex" marriages are okay.
Thus succumbing to the pressure of american society and starting to prove how "progressive" she is by turning HARAM into HALAL.Similarly by changing "Huir" in to "white grapes" we cannot prove that how progressive or Quranist we are.

the word that you have found me posting as you said blatantly incorrect because you have taken the translation of the verse with a different meaning of the real meanings. When God said "Bi ma Fadalla lah " it means in shape and in "Qawama" which for the man in providing everything to his woman from money, home because God has bestowed him to that mission.
If I use Arabic, you'll see what I mean
the word ""(Ma) is not for human, the use of this word is for " " from inanimate matters and animals ..etc, and the word can't be used for human .
Try to translate this because english limitate my explanation
( " " " " " " " " " " " " )
( " " ).
