The burning of Quran must happen on 9/11 by the Christians, so the veil shall be removed, the wolf shall come out of the lambs cloths. The World shall know that not only Muslims are fanatics and Extremists.

This is actually what most of the Christians and Jews feel about Muslims. This Guy is a brave person a HERo, the first to give voice to thoughts and feelings of Millions of Christians.

He claims that their intention is to honor the victims of 9/11. Surely they will be honored by burning of Quranic copies;.
But what about those Muslims who died in the incident? will they be honored too? Well that is not the real case, it has nothing to do with Honor of dead.
Most of Europeans say that they have the legal right to burn Qurans that they own, Yes but what about Muslims can they Burn Bible in Response, even though it is Man made? Can Muslims burn Bible in their countries?

Whatever the case, I think we shall support the burning of Quranic copies, so the truth may prevail.

      well said bravo
though i admit that burning copies of bible is definitely not sthing a true muslim wud do. its just their way of trying to agitate muslims..unfortunately them pulling stunts like this off is the reason why so many terrorists have succeeded in getting support frm various so called "muslims"

dusnt really make a diff to God or islam..them burning the quran..so let them..the true copy of quran is/should be in every true muslims heart..if its not then the quran is just words on a paper.

        Peace,
        Respect.

I think this is the fault of the sunnis and shias who have destroyed the image of the Real and True Islam from the beginning, God knows best. Now, I'm not saying that all sunnis and all shia are to be blamed, not all of them are the same, like I said some of them have been very helpful to me personally and I have met even some shia who happened to be very peaceful, Glory be to God.

However, there are some sunnis, I'd say wahabis - God knows best - who also have a community within a community within a community who is not exactly good. They misinterpret The Qur'an, push it away in favor of the sunnah and hadeeth, the real problem of today's world. When Rashad Khalifa called sunnah and hadeeth satanic innovations, he was actually right about that.

Burning of the copies of The Qur'an will cause many new problems and God forbid a war.
        How do we react?

If I may, let me give an example
Bosniaks in Bosnia and Hercegovina have always been told that during the Ottoman Emprire, Turks came to the Balcans and spread the Islam by sword and forcfully converted christian orthodox into acceptance of Islam and following Qur'an and sunnah.
When the war happened in 1992 and holocaust happened and USA didn't react and my relatives were told that Serbs were simply avenging their ancestors, we had to take it. Bosniaks simply had to be quiet and they were. But then they got angry at God.

Is it possible that maybe now sunnis will also have to be silent about this?
        God knows best.
I don't think they will remain silent and I hope and pray that The Exalted God The MOST Merciful will help us all.

        Peace.

I say let these islamophobic idiots have their stupid "burn the Quran" day because even if they were to burn every single Quran on the face of the earth, BILLIONS of people who at least identify themselves Muslims (even though most are hadith followers) have the Quran memorised word for word which is one of the miracles of the Quran. How many of these so-called Christians have the entire Bible memorised?.
Also how are they going to burn all the BILLIONS of people who have memorised the Quran? ???

Unless of course these idiots are planning to invade every country on earth where muslims are living which would also include their stupidass country

Either way like rraza has already said this stupid stunt will make no difference to GOD becuase these idiots are just adding fuel to their own hell fire and cause a reaction from all the worlds hadith followers (even though they themselves don't think the Quran is a good enough guide on its own brickwall ) and also putting lots of non-muslims around the would in danger of revenge attacks from hadith followers who claim to be muslim.

Most people who are claiming that the Quran promotes "evil" instead of peace and justice, have either never read the Quran, only read same verses just to delibereatly take them out of context and have only read some dodgy english transilation which was done by hadith followers who misintrerpret lit in order to fit in with their hadith following beliefs.

Now if they were to have burn a hadith day .... hmm

Alen, You have done good analysis of the situation, but let me clarify some parts of your post.

The year 637 represents an important turn in the history, which could not be forgotten by Christians, as there were NO SHIAS or SUNNIS at that time, so you blaming Shia or Sunni for that is not justifiable.

              Alen

If I may, let me give an example
Bosniaks in Bosnia and Hercegovina have always been told that during the Ottoman Emprire, Turks came to the Balcans and spread the Islam by sword and forcfully converted christian orthodox into acceptance of Islam and following Qur'an and sunnah.

So they were quiet for some time, till Ottoman umpire teared apart. Then started the revenge, which is still going on in IRAQ, GUANTANAMO, IRAN, AFGHANISTAN, PAKISTAN, PALESTINES, LEBANON and so on but the revenge is not yet over, the thirst of blood has not yet quenched, Arabs are not reacting,
But let that time not come when Muslims will get angry with God, and try to start taking revenge, Lets hope that time never comes.

It is quite amazing to see a senior member talk about SHIA SUNNI WAHABI at the moment when they are to BURn Quran which is the same for every SECT including YOURS.

                  Peace,
                  Respect.

                  @george,
we have to set a good example, brother. I don't think it will be a good advice to tell them, yeah, go ahead with this stunt, even though president Obama has told him wisely that he really should use brains instead of anger. maybe this is the time for us to jump in and say what if someone recited all the "bad parts" of The Bible?

                  @justamuslim,
good advice, good question. We must be different and not follow the example of the evil one. If this pastor wants to burn copies of The Qur'an, we should only give him a simple advice and talk to him and others who share same views, what might happen, explore the options, because only bad ones exist from what I'm seeing. God knows best.

                  @Raaajah,
brother, wahabis are very dangerous, I'm speaking from experience. remember the death threats I received? Those were coming from wahabis. Few, but they were serious and there was 0% joke in it. Wahabis are not like other "schools of thought". Wahabis mean business. Evil business.

This might be the right time to talk with churches about the things that Islam and Christianity have in common and not the things that separate us and it's definetely to stop keeping warm the things that keep us apart.
Why not remind People of The Book of 262 and other similar verses?
                  Just my thought .....

                  God bless you.
                  Peace.

Rajaah, whatever pain that you feel doesn't justify your position. If you have been wronged, angered, hurt the best way to ease the pain is to take the Islamic (peaceful) way. I am glad that the pastor cancelled his plans - thank God!

Jones said September 9 that he had decided to cancel the Koran burning because the leader of a controversial planned Islamic center near Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001, had agreed to move the center to another location.

Who knows more than me? But do you think if not due to threat of Wahabis this plan would have been canceled.
I even for a moment do not believe in the reason given by him, it was actually Pentagon and President himself.

The reason why I said that these Islamophobic idiots should go ahead with this stupid stunt is becauseit

                          1. They are not hurting GOD in the slightest becuase unless they repent, they themselves will be b
                          2. They will NEVER be able to burn the Quran from the minds and hearts of billions of people who know it off by heart.
                          3. He is bringing (albiet negative)attention to the Quran by claiming it "is of the devil", which will make many people curious enough to want to read the Quran for themselves to find out if what the demented pastor is saying is true and as millions have already (especially after the inside job of 9/11), and when they read the brilliance and beauty of the Quran and accept it as the truth, then millions more will convert to Islam which will mean his stupid stunt will completly backfire and even loose some of his congregation to Islam which will also mean he will loose money from his collection plate.

Remember they may scheme against GOD but GOD is the best of schemers.

What would be a bad example for us to follow would be to burn copies of the bible becuase I agree with you when you say that in response we should start reciting all the "bad parts" of the bible. But unfortunately the media attention will be focused on the hadith following (so-called islamic)fundamentalists who have become the face of Islam, will no doubt seek revenge attacks on non-muslims or by even burning copies of the bible.
If they were to do that that would be completely useless and stupid on their part because how would they (like you cleverly suggested) show all the "bad parts" of the bible if they are burning it?

                            Peace,
                            Respect,

They happen to be one of the "schools of thought" from the sunni branch and in my view are the most dangerous.
Of course, God know sbest and there are even more dangerous people who are outside this wahabi school of thought and even out side sunnism but that is why we need to focus on the bettering our situation with non-muslims. I'm just one guy and know a few other muslim here but we can't compete nor fight 2,000,000 sunnis in UK.

This is also one of the reasons I'm trying to meet with other muslims from this forum from UK so that we can work on a plan that will help us as a community, as people, as believers and work on a plan that will help us all make a step forward, step up, towards better level, God willing.

                            Peace.

Don't you see that by not burning the Koran it proves that everyone is afraid? In a sense the best result would have been to burn the koran, no one care and life goes on. But now in actual fact it shows that there is something to be afraid of.

People were afraid there would be actual deaths and property destruction caused by Muslims who killed random other people because some idiots in America burned a handful of books. Where does the real shame lie?

Shame lies on those who want to burn the Koran and also on those who react to such an act with threats of violence. And also shame on the media for it coverage of this issue.

I think someone who has contact with these people should tell them to burn the fake hadiths like sunni and shiite pagan teachings....and burn the translations of the quran by fake muslims like sunni and shiite pagans...just the translated part...they would have to cut it out from the quran first to be sure none of the arabic text gets burned...

                                        Respect.

They shouldn't go with the stunt because they would be sending a very strrong and wrong message. They would provoked people who don't care if they live or die and how they live and die. Those guys who have no problem committing suicide and pulling others along with themselves, innocent ones, are not like me and you.

                                        @ Wootah.
Maybe people won't be afraid, maybe they might making contact.
I'd also say that we need to walk out of this "shadow" and talk to them. Both of the sides.

                                        @ justamuslim.
We must also react and fast otherwise it will be said by someone"shame on you, the real muslims", you know what I'm saying? We gotta talk to the People of The Book and just tell them that sunnis and shias are not muslims, that's how I do it. We're watching TV or something and if I'm sitting with the christians, and we see women wearing hijab on the screen or Twin Towers falling down or Kabul explosions, I just say"Oh, well, don't worry, sunnis are not muslims", this sentecne alone sparks and starts a debate that lasts sometimes hours.

                                        @ bro.p.
No, we shouldn't burn the perfect weapon against sunnis. On the contrary, we should show the sunnis as well as non-muslims and non-believers, that sunnah and hadeeth are not Islamic and are totally against The Qur'an. Why burn the good evidence against sunnis and their nonsense? I'd compare hadeeth to Qur'an and show the non-muslims why I am a mulsim and sunnis aren't. God knows best, Glory be to God. Thank God for all the good things and Blessings, Thank God.

There were cases where christians have actually asked me if beard is compulsory (I shave) and I'd tell them that beards are not even Islamic nor Quranic let alone obligatory. Then the eyebrows react, they go silent and debate begins. Believe me, true conversation is open, Thank God and violence is never on anyone's mind. We talk like brothers and I also believe it would accelerate the process of Truth being increased, God willing.

Then again, one must be aware that humans will never have total peace on Earth because this is Earth and not Paradise.
Also, it is God who installs Submission into one's mind and heart, not a human.
God knows best, God bless you and keep up the prayers.

                                        Peace. group

The provacation started 9 yrs ago with the Inside Job of 9/11 which they blamed on Islam and muslims, and in the aftermath where muslims or anyone who liked and had a "muslim" sounding name were being attacked/killed and having mosques vandilised or being kidknapped and held at gitmo for years without trail whislt being tortured along with other false flag terrorist incidents like the bali bombing, Madrid and 7/7.
The provocation was already there when they illegally attacked Iraq and Afghanistan as a result of 9/11 killing millions of innocents and destroying the lives of many more.
The provocation was there with the release of the toture pictures from Abu gharib and all the other ones that have gone unreported.
The provacation was already there thanks to the west publishing cartoons of the prophet muhammed with a bomb on his head all in the name of "freedom of speech" but the same magazine that published that refused to publish a cartoon of Jesus with an erection because they said "they did not want to offend christians".
The provocation was already there since the zionazi's of america have been funding and arming the terrorist state of Israel in order to persecute, rob and murder palestinians in their own land.

Don't you think does things have already provoked people who don't care to commit suicide and also if they are going to take innocent life in the proccess their they were never muslims to begin with.

Apart from that the only reason the demented pastor is now not going ahead with the Quran burning idiotic stunt is becuase he wants the proposed Islamic centre near ground zero to be moved but what if they refuse to move it and why should they when many muslims themselves where killed on 9/11 .
If if the organisers of the ground zero mosque refuse to move elsewhere Jones could still go ahead with the stunt anyway.
