Your response demonstrates your paranoia, which appears to be contagious in your group. I assume that your partner, Michael Shermer, warned you against us "This guys are not the kinds of stupid believers and charlatans that we have been beating and declaring cheap victories. Stay away from them."
We have the video records of Michael, acting like a bigoted believer, falling into multiple contradictions and ending up with an incriminating confession.
You have time in discussing the primitive trick of spoon-bending, claims of spiritual-healing, or stories of UFO-believers, but you have no time for discussing the claim about a verifiable and falsifiable numerical system in a book! You are a grown adult producing rabbits from your hat, bending spoons, putting one million dollars challenging silly paranormal claims! In fact, your statement above shows that you consider our argument not to be in the category of the childish claims that you have devoted yourself.
Though I support your work in exposing hoaxes and fraud in the name of God and paranormal, I find you acting like a child when you are challenged by rational monotheists. First, the last statement of your article is a sneaky ad hominem attack. I was imprisoned by martial court after the military coup in 1980 for two of my articles critical of Turkish government. Many academics, authors and political figures too were imprisoned by the military regime. Then, my comrade Recep Tayyip Erdoan too was jailed with me in one of the political protests.
Without any investigation about the cause of such a imprisonment, your intended implications are unfair.

If God was implying that the letters of the 29 initialed Sura?s are his signs wouldn't they be more than just mediocre abbreviations? What sort of sign/miracle is that? I?m not a good translator so I can?t say that you?re wrong that the word ?ayat? should be translated to ?writing?. However from my understanding these verses 151 , 262 , 312, 271 ,101 , some translators do translate the word ?ayat? as ?verses?, some as ?proofs? some as ?signs? , ?lessons? and "evidences". So my question is how then can you say that word 'ayat' means only ?writing?s when they are several meanings to the word 'ayat' ?

I mean if you're going to bring some proof try to bring something similar like WORD, LETTER, SURA AND VERSE OCCURRENCES which is what the majority of the code is based on. To you maybe the Quran is a simple book in which any person(including disbelievers) can read and comprehend. The Islamic world thinks so to and look how well they are doing in there respective countries ;D Brother there is a difference between reading a book and comprehending a book. Also you I both know that the majority of the "Muslims " today read the Quran yet they don't follow what they read (because they are disbelievers).
