What is Islam?
-
"Setting up partners" is not exclusive to the act of "creation". It's the setting up of partners of ANY kind including partners in source of guidance.
Hadith should be treated like any essay or article here on free-minds. Otherwise, you're risking setting up partners with God.
Salam nonplus,
I know and I'm rejecting unjust hadith (refer here).
However, Allah prohibits us to deny what justly balanced (for example, 7738-50 above).
To reject what is justly balanced on sectarian basis, is no difference than to be a sectarian itself.
It is a religion of Islam, and not a deen of Islam.
Therefore, can you give me an ayat that Allah prohibit us to follow what is justly balanced?
Can you give me an ayat where Allah command us to reject signs not in the Qur'an?
Peace brother.

What does the Qur'an teach?
...
From the above, we can see that the Qur'an teaches us how to balance and achieve justice ..Some inconsistent ayats for the religious peoples.
And who believe in what has been revealed to you
and what was revealed before you
and of the Hereafter they are certain
(22)So is one who upon a clear evidence from his Lord?
And a witness from Him follows it
and before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as mercy
Those
believe in the Qur'an <- Condition to be regarded as a believer of the Qur'an
(1718)Then woe to those
who write the Book with their own hands <- much like the hadith itself
and then say
"This is from God"
to traffic with it for a miserable price!
Woe to them for what their hands do write
and for the gain they make thereby
(279Follow or not to follow?
And before it was the scripture of Moses to lead
and as a mercy
And this is a confirming Book <- What is a confirming book? Its functions/implications?
in an Arabic tongue
to warn those who have wronged
and as good tidings to the doers of good
(4612)And We have revealed to you
the Book in truth
confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture
and as a criterion over it <- How do these "Criterion Systems" works? Reject them all together?
So judge between them by what Allah has revealed <- Allah says "judge", evaluate, not rejects.
and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth
To each of you We prescribed a law and a method <- Other rules are also from Allah? Good? Bad?
Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation <- Allah refers to "nation"
but to test you in what He has given you <- What is the test from Allah? Rejection?
so race to good <- Allah considers there is good from another book or sect etc.?
To Allah is your return all together
and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ <- Who'll inform? You?
(548) What is our mission? -

hadith != "signs not in the Qur'an"
Furthermore, you seem to attach context to many things and somehow make it not apply to you.
When God asks, rhetorically, "which hadith do you believe in?" It applies to any and everyone, not just the "non believers of judgement day". How quickly you limited the scope of that!
Anyway, I get that I'm new here and this seems to be your thread so I'll refrain from commenting further.

Salam nonplus,
Therefore, can you give me an ayat that Allah prohibit us to follow what is justly balanced?
Can you give me an ayat where Allah command us to reject signs not in the Qur'an?Why can't you answer my simple questions and relying on the fallacy of generalization to make your points?
Do you have ayats to support your conclusion?
Do you really believe in the Qur'an or it is just your assumption?Furthermore, you seem to attach context to many things and somehow make it not apply to you.
The difference is between the context what is justly balanced and what is not. You are referring to something that might have the element of justly balanced as unjust. You generalized the issue, as what religious people do, a sectarian. Therefore, you need to give me an authority for your conclusion, an ayat from the Qur'an.
hadith != "signs not in the Qur'an"
Have you ever read all the hadith, what is its story?
Is it all unjust and not related to the signs in the Qur'an? (refer here)
Prove it! That everything in a hadith is unjust, and your ibada (salat, fast, zakah, sadaqah, marriage, hajj and even the Qur'an translation etc) is free from any reference to the hadith.
It sounds silly and ridiculous, right?
When God asks, rhetorically, "which hadith do you believe in?" It applies to any and everyone, not just the "non believers of judgement day". How quickly you limited the scope of that!
I already give you my reason and show how one can distort Allah's words to fit their religious purpose.
Do you have ayats to counter my conclusion?
The risk of reading ayat out of its true meaning or context..
Do you covet
that they would believe for you
while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah
and then distort the Torah after they had understood it
while they were knowing?
(275)Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge
and whose interpretation has not yet come to them
Thus did those before them deny
Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers
(1039) -
I believe Islam isn't a religion, but a submission to God. Thus, many people may be muslims without ''knowing it''. )

Salam jhonsonmustafa,
I believe you are reading the ayat out of its context and its true meaning.
RED Can you please explain verse 7750?
This is the Day of Judgement
We will have assembled you and the former peoples
So if you have a plan, then plan against Me
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs
And fruits from whatever they desire
, "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do"
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
, eat and enjoy yourselves a little
indeed, you are criminals
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
And when it is said to them, "Bow," (ir'kaū they do not bow
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe? <- relating to those who deny the
(7738-50) Day of Judgement? Doing good?ir'ka
= Ra-Kaf-Ayn = bowed, bent, incline, humility, humble yourself, lower the head, fell upon his face, stumbled. And I don't understand why are referring to 22.
This is the Book about which there is no doubt
a guidance for those conscious of Allah
(22)Where did Allah say it is shirk to follow what is justly balance?
Where did Allah command us to reject signs not in the Qur'an?
The risk of reading ayat out of its true meaning or context..

Salam Brother,
leave alone 7750 what about 22. When Allah says this is the Book, Then all the books right from schools to rocket science including hadith belongs to dust bin in front of Allah.Allah says "Can you bring 10 Chapters like this?. All the men and Jinn put together". I dont remeber the Ayath No.

Salam jhonsonmustafa,

Okay.
what about 22. When Allah says this is the Book, Then all the books right from schools to rocket science including hadith belongs to dust bin in front of Allah.
Allah says "Can you bring 10 Chapters like this?. All the men and Jinn put together". I dont remeber the Ayath No.
I already asked you this question.
What about 22?
What's it got to do with Allah prohibit us to follow what is justly balanced to humanity?
And I don't understand why are referring to 22.
This is the Book about which there is no doubt
a guidance for those conscious of Allah
(22)Where did Allah say it is shirk to follow what is justly balance?

Religion of Islam vs. Deen of Islam
Allah prohibits us to deny what justly balanced (for example, 7738-50 above).
To reject what is justly balanced on sectarian basis, is no difference than to be a sectarian itself.
It is a religion of Islam, and not a deen of Islam.
The difference is between the context what is justly balanced and what is not. You are referring to something that might have the element of justly balanced as unjust. You generalized the issue, as what religious people do, a sectarian. Therefore, you need to give me an authority for your conclusion, an ayat from the Qur'an.
Please look at the actual content..
The real issue is whether it is justly balanced to humanity?
and this is the Deen of Islam.
Do not generalize (fallacy of generalization) and view the matter on a sectarian's perspective.. Quranism, Sunni, Shia, Hadither, Wahhabbism, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism etc. This is religious perspective, a religion.
It doesn't matter if you label yourself as Quranism or Qur'an Alone or whatever it is.
It is still a sectarian, a religion.
It is not the Deen of Islam.
Peace brother.
-
Peace brother,
Islam is not a religion. It is a way of life.
Salam Sabina
If it is so, then don't just say it. Live Islam as your way of life, and not as a religion.
Don't make it as a religion and opposing or against what is justly balanced to humanity (reality), whatever their religion or "label" (illusion).
Decide from the perspective of justly balanced to humanity (descendants of Adam), and not on the basis of any sectarian's perspective or fallacy of generalization (religion).
Peace.
-
Hasty generalization
Hadith/Sunna/Shia/Christian/Buddha etc is true for A (unjust).
Hadith/Sunna/Shia/Christian/Buddha etc is true for B (unjust).
Hadith/Sunna/Shia/Christian/Buddha etc is true for C (unjust).
Hadith/Sunna/Shia/Christian/Buddha etc is true for D (unjust).Therefore...
Hadith/Sunna/Shia/Christian/Buddha etc is true for
E (way of life - deen)
F (way of life - deen)
G (way of life - deen), etc.and..
What about that is justly balanced in the Hadith/Sunna/Shia/Christian/Buddha etc ?
Should we oppose or against these elements?
In certain aspects, we are also no difference to them.
This is religion, and not the Deen of Islam (way of life - justly balanced).
-
Salam Brother,
Allah will guide him who wills towards the straight path.
Salam Sabina
That is not related to our issue (another fallacy), and I hope it does not mean we should oppose or against what is justly balanced to the humanity on a sectarian's perspective or fallacy of generalization (religion).
Peace.

Allah said...
And who believe in what has been revealed to you
and what was revealed before you
and of the Hereafter they are certain
(22)and, why Prophet Muhammad was not a Jew or Christian?
It is the religion relating to the Books of Allah, and the Books which are confirmed by the Qur'an.
Ibrahim was not a Jew <- Ibrahim has no religion. So as Muhammad, not a Jew/Christian (religion).
nor a Christian http//api.ning.com/files/uGCxg7sZSOsBbNwvSUN0m6uFBP5OUvR7e-3lYPcnfzzdki1NKdfBKi*MBEzKhhqFLbCaNgzbOCTwHTwBFp0cz3nyqUP-l7F1/arrowDownSmall.png
but he was (an) upright (man) <- showing a great concern for what is right, fair and truthful way
a Muslim <- defined by the above ayat - an upright man - obedience and justly balanced.
and he was not one of the polytheists <- Concern with right/wrong in religious matters - 3030-32Most surely the nearest of people to Ibrahim
are those
who followed him
and this Prophet
and those who believe
and Allah is the guardian of the believers
(367-68)And whoever seeks a "dnan" (ا other than Islam
it will NEVER be accepted of him
and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers

O you who have believed
fear Allah as He should be feared
and DO NOT die
except as Muslims
And hold firmly
to the rope of Allah
all together
and DO NOT become divided <- unity
(3102-103)And let there be from you
a nation
inviting to good <- justly balanced; cf. Allah say "good", then "right" or "wrong"
enjoining what is right <- just
and forbidding what is wrong <- unjust
and those will be the successful
And do not be like the ones
who became divided
and differed
after the clear proofs had come to them <- religion (3030-32); cf. (367-68)
And those will have a great punishment
(3104-105) -
Description of a Muslim in the Qur'an, and most are related to human beings or humanism.
Then will We treat the Muslims
like the criminals? <- on the issue of crime and evil etc.
(6835)And among us are Muslims
and among us are the unjust <- on the issue of justice
And whoever has become Muslim
those have sought out
the right course <- on the issue of right path
(7214)And who is better in speech <- on the issue of communication
than one who invites to Allah <- refer here
and does righteousness and says <- on the issue of righteousness
"Indeed, I am of the Muslims"
(4133)And I have been commanded
to be the first of the Muslims" <- on the issue of submission
Say, "Indeed I fear
if I should disobey my Lord <- on the issue of obedience
the punishment of a tremendous Day"
(3912-13)Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women
the believing men and believing women <- on the issue of belief
the obedient men and obedient women <- on the issue of obedience
the truthful men and truthful women <- on the issue of truthful
the patient men and patient women <- on the issue of patience
the humble men and humble women <- on the issue of being humble
the charitable men and charitable women <- on the issue of charitable
the fasting men and fasting women <- on the issue of fasting (vs. nafs)
the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so <- on the issue of nafs
and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so <- on the issue of dzikr etc.
for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward <- on the issue of repentance
(3335)And do not argue with the People of the Scripture <- on the issue stand up for what is just
except in a way that is best <- on the issue of justly balanced
except for those who commit injustice among them, and say <- on the issue of justice
"We believe in that which has been revealed to us
and revealed to you
And our God and your God is one <- on the issue of unity
and we are Muslims to Him" <- on the issue of submission
(2946)And Moses said
"O my people, if you have believed in Allah
then rely upon Him <- on the issue of reliance to Allah
if you should be Muslims"
(1084)My Lord, You have given me of sovereignty
and taught me of the interpretation of dreams
Creator of the heavens and earth
You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter
Cause me to die a Muslim
and join me with the righteous" <- on the issue of righteousness
(12101)And you do not resent us
except because we believed
in the signs of our Lord when they came to us
Our Lord, pour upon us patience <- on the issue of patience
and let us die as Muslims"
(7126)Nor could he order you
to take the angels
and prophets
as lords <- on the issue of idol etc.
Would he order you to disbelief
after you had been Muslims? <- on the issue of belief
(380)Say, "We have believed in Allah
and in what was revealed to us <- on the issue of deen/way of life
and what was revealed to Abraham
Ishmael
Isaac
Jacob
and the Descendants
and in what was given to Moses
and Jesus
and to the prophets from their Lord
We make no distinction between any of them <- on the issue of no religion and unity
and we are Muslims to Him"
(384)And We have enjoined upon man<- on the issue of respect our parents
to his parents
good treatment
His mother carried him with hardship
and gave birth to him with hardship
and his gestation
and weaning is thirty months
until
when he reaches maturity
and reaches forty years, he says
"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor
which You have bestowed upon me
and upon my parents
and to work righteousness <- on the issue of righteousness
of which You will approve
and make righteous for me my offspring <- on the issue of family
Indeed, I have repented to You
and indeed, I am of the Muslims"
(4615)And the Day when We will resurrect <- on the issue of unity
among every nation
a witness over them from themselves <- on the issue of other belief
And We will bring you
as a witness over your nation <- on the issue of our belief
And We have sent down to you the Book
as clarification for all things <- on the issue of clarification
and as guidance
and mercy
and good tidings
for the Muslims
(1689)And We took the Children of Israel across the sea
and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them
in tyranny and enmity until <- on the issue of tyranny and enmity
when drowning overtook him, he said
"I believe that there is no deity
except that in whom the Children of Israel believe <- He didn't say Allah, but declare as a Muslim?
and I am of the Muslims" <- Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see
(1090) and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct." (4029)
(on the issue of right conduct - Whether Pharoah claiming himself as God?)
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other
except for the righteous <- on the issue of unity and righteousness"O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day
nor will you grieve
who believed in Our verses and were Muslims <- on the issue of belief
(4367-69)And you cannot guide the blind away from their error
You will only make hear
those who believe in Our verses <- on the issue of belief
so they are Muslims
(3053) -
This begs the question What is islam.. o
And no - it is not a RELIGION. All religions are MAN MADE.
It's an judgement, attitude, which after some time become a character.
The logic is very simple
Given
- God will always make His will a reality.
Thus
- Everything that happened is in accordance to His will
The question will be
- What's your say about anything that you're experiencing?
You can "Peacefully Accept" or "Un-Peacefully deny / reject"..
Denial is actually quite 'futile', given the fact above..
The Thread Starter got it right by mentioning the "Devil" / "Iblees" in the story of Adam.
His attitude shows "Denial"... which is actually quite useless / futile..
As thus he's not a muslim..Let's take a simple example..
The organization that you're working in, decided to promote your colleague to become your new boss. You feel (as everybody else) that you're the one who should earn the promotion and become 'the boss', because you feel that you're better than him.
So herewith your option
-
You can reject him as the new boss, which is quite futile, since it's not you who own the place, and you shall experience negative emotion of resentment and anger.. and in turn might entice your wish for 'revenge'..
-
You can gladly accept him as the new boss, which shall save you from the suffering of all negative emotion..
And of course the organization will not accept any other attitude from his worker except to follow and accept the decision. (385)
Salam / Peace
