There are many articles and posts on this, but here is a concise argument from the Qur'an.

Yes .. general understanding of the Quran, and accordingly...

(that's why many are leaving the teachings of their religion (any religion) and resort to secularism and reality etc . . . because "religion" does not have the foundation to support this current situation . . we need "deen", not "religion")

Secularism is the principle of separation of government institutions, and the persons mandated to represent the State, from religious institutions and religious dignitaries.

p.s. hadithers almost . . . totally separate the Quran from reality, because they could not understand even with the hadith since they treated the Quran and Islam as religion, not as deen. Therefore Islam basically means hadith (seen as more likely to real life), and still with more than 95% limitation and cannot answer to practical life, acceptable by all human beings . . . Quran Alone ? Religion or deen ? Proof ?

It is not all about Allah Alone, Satan, Angel, Hell, Paradise, this people muslim, those are not . . . but we are in the real world, real life.. not fantasy.

However, the more complex the society, the more challenges to bring balance and justice

There are more system that we need to understand and corroborate it with value from the Quran (foundation)

and those who ignore these facts, are actually isolating themselves from reality and try to live in their own fantasy

How do you answer all these social, economical, political, environmental, educational, trade, employment . . . etc issues?

How do you answer real life . . . through Quran Alone Allah Alone

There are many many articles online discussing this "Quran only" subject, some on this site http//free-minds.org/articles?tid=4
      others e.g.
      http//mypercept.co.uk/articles/Quran_True_Sunnah_of_Messenger_Naveed.htm
      http//deenrc.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/theauthorityofalquran.pdf

From my own studies, I have never found the need to require Traditional Hadith to understand a Quran topic.

Some have taken the approach that they can follow Traditional Hadith as long as they are filtered through The Quran, i.e. do not contradict it etc etc. This could be said for any source, not necessarily Traditional Hadith.

From my own studies, I have never found the need to require Traditional Hadith to understand a Quran topic.

Not quite right. You would not understand a single letter of Arabic without Hadith. Other than that . . . then there are the "historical bits" one can just ignore them . . . and then start asking . . .

Who exactly is Muhammad? And how exactly is it that you do know that Quran is the book of Allah? Who is Allah?

      Yeah Hadith - of course.

All those references bring us to one common issue . . . from whom the texts coming from ?

        This is sectarianism

However and contradictorily, Islam does not view from those angle

and in fact never mentioned about religion (madhab) in the Quran

I believe to understand Islam, one must imagine there are no religion in this world

One must view the world from the perspective of a child who see there is only human beings

If there are no religions, then there are only two things that matter . . . just or unjust.

This element of just or unjust is one thing that is common (unity) in all religions or human beings.

and this what the Quran is all about, teaching us how to balance and bring justice . . towards human unity

The Quran tell us the foundation and how to seek for further guidance and achieve wisdom

It is this foundation that is perfectly in detail and remain intact
(the Quran is perfectly in detail to the extent it can even communicate to each of us, inspire and solve our daily problems)

Complete with example for all eras (history do repeat itself) . . . to guide us how to balance our life and the society

However, the more complex the society, the more challenges to bring balance and justice

There are more system that we need to understand and corroborate it with value from the Quran (foundation)

and those who ignore these facts, are actually isolating themselves from reality and try to live in their own fantasy

(that's why many are leaving the teachings of their religion and resort to secularism and reality etc . . . because "religion" does not have the foundation to support this current situation . . we need "deen", not "religion")

I like this quote . . . but it is those who don't have guidance (Tradition Aloner), so they are wandering in their fantasy. Similarly, there are also Muslims who plan to live in the jungle and build a Muslim Village . . and they are those who are running from reality. Different forms, same objective.

        http//chicagofreedomwatch.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/john-fire-lame-deer.jpg?w=490

If we bring to the perspective of our discussion, the value of human beings was determined by his religion . . not by what he really is

Every other sect will point to other and claim they are sect and not us. . . so late comers to the party "Quran only" are a new sect. You can pretend all you like you are not a sect - so what? - others do it too.

Zakir Naik - for example - goes around claiming he is sectarian or belongs to a sect. . . it is as false as your claim.

Sunnis are always proud and proudly claim that they are the original. But if we look at Sunni Imams who formed the Sunni denomination, Imam al-shafi, Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal, they were born much later after Prophet Mohammed so their doctrines are much newer.

It is funny how Sunnis claim that to know Quran is from God is hadith. Lol. It is common sense, not hadith.

Yes, yes, yes, this is reality, not fantasy and hadiths contain so many fantasies and fairy tales such as mahdi, 72 voluptuous virgins for male paradise dwellers, camel urine etc.

Those who are tagged "Quranists" do not strictly follow Qur'an only, they still follow instructions in microwave manuals, follow Chemistry books to study chemistry, refer lexicons to study Qur'an by themselves.

              Peace,

The Book means that one should not follow another Message than God's Message and invent a lot of conjecture and say "God has said this". It is a minor misconception due to some mistakes I have been working on. Otherwise God's pen does never run out of ink.

But if you read, let us say, the Bible and find an action by Jesus to be righteous and do the same it is fine as long as it is a good action.

But if it says Jesus is god then simply do not obey since you know better. It is against the Message and the Ark of the Covenant.

And we know the Message is so simple and it is when we invent religious rules it gets sweaty.

              God bless you

Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and other religions are really a tiny part of religion

Minor issues and it have been separated from real life since thousand years ago

In facts, it is almost not real at all . .

It is becoming fantasy and illusion . .no real value to humanity

and it is the tools of the sectarian leaders for popularity, power and money etc. . . their career

The actual religion is Laws, Government, Businesses, Agriculture, Economical, Political, International Relations etc . .

Where it is accepted by all human beings and benefiting humanity

It is the Deen (way of life) and it is in these areas Muslim must bring balance and justice

I think the verse is very clear and Allah commands us to ponder the "Foundation" (root, constitution, infrastructure, the objective, targets) for finding the straight path to peaceful living. . . here and life after death.

It is He who has sent down to you, the Book

                    in it are verses precise

they are the FOUNDATION of the Book

                    (3.7)

The verses that are entirely clear from the Quran is the foundation, "perfectly in detail" (very strong and solid Constitution) . . and the hadith, men-made laws, other religious texts and references are the "BRANCHES" (subsidiary laws, regulations and policies etc.) . . . and human beings cannot live by the "Foundation Alone"; e.g. country that only has the Constitution Alone, without any subsidiary laws, regulations and policies. Chaos !

                        Salaam

One of the norm in discussion is try to explain our arguments in easy way so the others can understand.
If not = burden of proof. We explain to others but like talking to ourself.

Most "Quranists" that I have met do not reject books that are not Qur'an, but are just more critical when analyzing those books.
If people can have different views on who Dzul Qarnayn was, why can't people have different views who Quranic Mohammed was?

You are right, people still look at lexicons and history to understand Quran.

If we use lexicons, yes of course Quran in Classical Arab and need some dictionaries to understand it.

What I mean is believe Quran Alone in the context of iman (read my thread). Is verses like 7750 order us to follow, intepretate by only use Quran only??

Because if yes, the result is some threads in salat, hajj, fasting boards and thread 'bout Muhammad is exist/not.

From my own studies, I have never found the need to require Traditional Hadith to understand a Quran topic.

First don't mistaken me if I'm now a traditionalist (Sunni-Shia etc).

Some of Quranic phrases and topic need to be understand by other sources (Tanakh etc).
Maybe I want challengge you for what is furqan, becca, Ramadhan, Umul Quro by using Quran Only.

Go count or research yourself how many statutory laws, subsidiary laws, codes, policies, rules and regulations in the United States from that little book known as The Constitution of the United States of America... It is not of any primary importance to me to find out the exact details of its numbers.

You don't know the concept of law.
Quran is a Scripture, a religious/faith book, while
Contitutions is matters regarding politics, human's civillization.

Constitution always updated, get amandement, based-conditioned on situation on that country.
Quran and another religious Scripture cannot be taken as worldly life (political constitution). This will be the same thing as Khilafah system.

Don't ever mix political constitution with Scripture, it's blasphemy.

Therefore and according to your argument, Islam is a religion . . and not a Deen.

                                It is secularism.

Constitution is not religion, but something which must protect it (freedom of believe etc).

See Pakistan and Saudi, whatever they are the Sunni-based country, Is their constitution pattern is same each other?

Please learn about Republic of Fiji, the Methodist Church (main religious institution) release fatwa if they must separate from politic issues/flag.
Do you know why they did this?

                                        Constitution is not religion

You must be a very confused person . . .

and it is very hard to discuss with people who do not understand the discussion . . sudden change of issue

That's the point I'm making all this while . . . all those things are deen . . a complete system of life

The actual religion is Laws, Government, Businesses, Agriculture, Economical, Political, International Relations etc . .

Where it is accepted by all human beings and benefiting humanity

It is the Deen (way of life) and it is in these areas Muslim must bring balance and justice

Religion's possition in economy, bussines, international relation is a pondation

Example how Quran teach us to be polite while in diplomation between countries?
The Quran's possition in that case is the way of life not as draft of rules, the draft is based on people's agreement on the talk.

Religion is human's attempt to reach salvation (guidance) not about economy, politic etc.

Please... don't create a new terms unless you want became a reformed, new proffesor.
