By the way,

are there any members in this forum who believe that there is at least one messenger (genuine, not fake) who lives among us somewhere in this world at the moment?

Because, if God still sends messenger for this present time, then, our duty is to strive together with him in God's cause, isn't?

Salm.

Yes, I personally met few of them, they're ranging from many cultural background.
Each of them delivered an 'inspirational revelation' for me.

And they're so humble that NONE of them ask me to testify that they're a messenger of God.
Or delivered an ultimatum of "You must believe me or you're working for Satan".
All of them are nice and humble folks.

Salam / Peace

The people used to be a singular harmonious unit-group.
For reason of emergence of differences-division-people enslaved by conjectural stories , Allah the Exalted appointed as Revivalists the Chosen and Elevated Allegiants.
They were given the responsibility-assignment as those who assure-pronounce-guarantee glad tidings and cause cautioning and awakening.
And He the Exalted sent the respective Book along with all of them incorporating infallible facts.
The purpose was that it-the Book might decide-adjudge amongst people of that society in matters in which they mutually differed.
And none questioned its contents except those of people whom it-relevant Book was given.
They differed therein after that which the succinct Verbal Passages revealed to them only for reason of retaining status quo of class system amongst them.
Thereby, Allah the Exalted guided those who heartily believed in the Revivalist and the Book in resolving their disputed matters in accordance with the infallible revealed injunctions with Allah's endorsement.
And remember; Allah the Exalted keeps guiding him; about whom He the Exalted so decides, towards the High Road Course that keeps heading safely and straight to the destination of peace and tranquility.

It is a fact that We had certainly sent Our Messengers with distinct unprecedented displays
And We had sent the Book along with all of them the Messengers. And We sent the Criterion - the Weighing Scale for ad judgment, evaluation and discerning truth from conjecture and falsehood.
The objective of communicating the Book was that the people might establish and maintain a system of equity and justice.
And We have descended the Iron. Sturdy strong strength is its built-in characteristic feature; and profitableness for the people;
And the purpose of sending the Book is that Allah might expose him who helps Him the Exalted and His Messengers in absence of they being in their vision.
Indeed Allah the Exalted is the Mightiest, the All-Pervasively dominant.

Read what is relevant to the point at issue Pl listen Shaitaan/Satan
Be informed; When Shai'taan had made their deeds, preparations alluring for them;
And inspired/said for them "None at all a dominant is there amongst the people who could be overpowering for you people in battle today. And I am by your side."
Subsequent to advancing, when the two hostile forces came in sight to each other he, Shait'aan, turned away on his heels
Announcing, "I am absolved from you people . Indeed I am seeing what you people are not seeing. Certainly I fear Allah."
The fact remains that Allah the Exalted is stern in dispensing justice-awarding due punishment to criminals.

Salaam,

I don't know what is relevant to you but I was respomding on this What will differentiate you from Satan?

Prophet Muhammad didnt had to work for Prophethood. Prophets are sent by Allah to mankind. The prophets worked in the way of Allah.

Hardwork is not the thing that enables a man the achievement of Prophethood. He can work hard to die as a mumin.

Serious answer, please... > I

Allah has said Islam is completed. So no more messengers. Nobody is coming, no messengers, no jesus, no mahdi, no saviors, no one. Sorry to disappoint prophethood dreamers. They can stop their 'working'.

We have the glorious Quran, what else we need ??

Ps- when i said Allah honored all Prophets, i meant Allah merited them. Its not like that Allah has to 'respect' anyone. You know what i mean, i dont want to complicate further.

Salam alaykum.

Please remember that no translation of the Qur'aan will ever be exhaustive and final. The day you acquire the skill, I am sure you will render a far better and precise translation than my and my wife's effort.

Thank you very much.

So, the team is you and your wife? Wow! __

That's so sweet, big brother! D

I hope that God will provide me the similar opportunity one day.

I mean, to study, decipher, and interpret Qur'an (something like that) together with my future husband, inshaAllah.

Salm.

Sorry to disappoint prophethood dreamers. They can stop their 'working'.

Not prophet (nabi), but what I mean is rasul/rasool (the messenger of God).

Perhaps you can read this thread Messengers are forever to understand what I meant.

Nobody is coming, no messengers, no jesus, no mahdi, no saviors, no one.

It's not about the return of Jesus or the coming of Mahdi.

What I mean is the possibility that perhaps there are messengers of God who live among us today, who actively invite us to have faith in God and teach us to do good, perhaps they only do that in simple manner (I mean not by waging war), but they're actively preaching in peaceful way, sincere, truthful and really care about our fate in the hereafter.

Salm.

Jafar You care the details about Muhammad , in similar case as (many not all) Hindus care about Krishna's true color..

You on the other hand obviously do not care what is Krishna's true color, or furthermore you might ask who the heck is Krishna?

That's what's being meant by "Krishna's true color" and "Muhammad had son or not / last prophet or not" is something which has no importance to the general humankind. It's only important to Muhammadans and Krishnans.

You missed the point..

ArmanAziz wasn't suggesting that it mattered whether Muhammad had a son or not. Here's what he said

To me the statement "Muhammad is not father of any of you fellows, but rather a massenger of Allah and seal of prophets" has following important message

1. Muhammad (pbh) is not meant to be father figure for any group or sect - neither shia, nor sunni - nor even the entire group who call themselves muslim, but rather...
2. He was a messenger of Allah. Just like Allah is for everyone - Muhammad and his heritage is a common heritage for mankind (or even the universe)... and so is the message that he brought .... not only of a specific group or sect.
3. And he also was the seal of prophets (but not necessarily seal of messengers or seal of inspiration or wahi). To me seal of prophets simply means after the book brought by Muhammad (i.e. Qur'an) there will be no "new" book (kitab) from near Allah.

If you read the verses following 3340 you will see that he is clearly right.

3340-43. Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is ever Aware of all things.
O ye who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.
And glorify Him morning and evening.
He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.

We are being told that Muhammad is not to be looked on as a father figure and that it is God who we should remember and glorify as He is the one who blesses us and guides us.

I am sick of this play with words where someone twists what other say to suit his own delusions about having the perfect truth and the compulsion to correct others as if they were idiots and him the only one ablo to bring light to poor lost manipulable people.

Some nuts keep "worshiping" a man, a prophet, bringing his image and name out of reality and out of common sense, therefore there come the cleverest one to make out of that prophet some common idiot who just happened to find a letter dropped some where, took a postman uniform and delivered it to us without knowing what was in it no being interested in what was in it.

This is beyond ridiculous. And we still pretend that we have read that letter and understand it.

And we must by all means find flaws or sins or whatever in the prophets so we can bring them to our level and get rid of the trouble of acknowledging that there are those who have served humanity to the point of loosing themselves, their own time, their own life their own all for the sake of giving the message even when spat upon and risking everything. To the point of having to keep silent like Maryam, to any point for the sake of the message and for the sake of humanity and for the sake of our creator and lover.

Since there are over there ridiculous men worshipping misled people we on our side must go to the other extreme and make rubbish out of everything.

?Crucify him! Go ahead. we do not need them. We have the message, the messenger can please be let out the back door he is no more important than the pizza deliverer, may be we can also give him a few cents tip.

Good luck to the clever people who can deal properly with prophets and put them in their place.

And I suppose those words int he Qur'an where it says that the prophets are a mercy for all the worlds is also something added to the Qur'an and not there. Pride is certainly daring. Too much pride.

If we are not capable of being grateful for the messengers of God we will never know them nor the message.

Salaam

Peace,

When nearly NO ONE can interpret the recitation (Quran) as it should why is a messenger not needed? If nearly NO ONE is having their faith as intended why is a messenger not needed?

The faith may have been completed thousands of years ago, but yet messengers kept coming. Why is that?

Yes. What Jesus preached was already enough. Yet God sends more messengers. Why is that?

Well. People lose the communion and divide into sects and do not uphold the covenant. And people are no longer with the right information because it is corrupted between conjecture and truth and even honest people may be doing wrong because that falsehood is in circulation. Then it is a mercy from our Master to continue sending messengers to punify things and let people who are not hypocrites or maniacs stop wandering in their confusion even if the hypocrites and maniacs will be kept wandering in their confusion.

Are people not deserving the right faith as you say no messengers are needed?

One problem is that you really worship your idol Muhammad so you do not really care about God's command and getting close to God. You do not listen to the words that were uttered from GOD'S WORD or you would understand Muhammad was just a meek man, lowly* in spirit and humble servant of God.

• Old year 1828 understanding of 'lowly'

God may have sent a prophet and messenger with the perfect decree and information, but to what avail is that if barely no one 1400 years later understands it?

And guidance comes from The Master, God and people are just informed by revelation, but the wise man will understand that people on the right track will be in the assembly of God with close proximity to God and will "channel" all the things that come by faith which is guidance and increased knowledge and wisdom. Quran, as it is called, is a sign for those who have faith and they cry when they read it because it confirms WHAT THEY ALREADY KNOW and because of that firm sign their faith is strengthened. There were people guided before there was any revelation like "Quran" and before any man called Muhammad set his foot upon Earth and when guidance was bestowed upon man by short tables of decreed matter and many people were sufficiently guided by that. When Abraham set his foot upon Earth none of the revelations were "sent down" and man was responsible himself to inform offspring and tell them to harmonize themselves and serve God.

Some people are never satisfied with what God prescribes upon them and in their delusion to please God they invent conjecture and attribute it to God and so has also happened with the Arabic revelation and strange rituals and habits have emerged from an innocent text that does not speak of such nonsense.

Follow and regard God; build up faith for the unknown, seek God's nearness by communion and purification with good deeds and reformation of character, gain guidance and be blessed with knowledge and wisdom and finally enjoy peace and prosperity = Be harmonized in spirit. No messenger spoke of anything different and they did not tell people to be his patron or be obsessed with him and the messenger told them to turn to God wholeheartedly and strictly serve God alone. There is not much information to know about God's command that you have to take the messenger as a mediator when God is capable of guiding without assistance.

And the messenger Muhammad and the others are gone from this world and there is only left a scripture that may have been recited by Muhammad, BUT it is all praise to God for that information. The messenger would not have liked to be thanked for it and be held exalted.

What is it that you do not understand?

God bless you

But the author says its just his opinion.(and its wrong). Even he does not believe it. Then why did you believe it ?

We are the jundullah, the soldiers of Allah, we are the hizbullah, the party of Allah, But only if we follow the Quran, not our personal desires. May Allah include us among the victors.

Peace,

More specifically; if we follow the decree and command of God, then we are guided. Quran was another revelation of God with the decree and as a regard from God. What it teaches was already known to people before that.

Quran says "Why do they ask you to judge between them when they have the torah?"

Even better many people have the enlightenment (gospel) to Jesus with them so they have what is required and they can be wise with it.

Many were the messengers who preached the decree delivered by Moses. Would you call them misguided?

God bless you

Peace,

What kind of information if I may ask? What is new that I did not know?

Please do not quote passages out of context. Muhammad was sent to a people not previously warned so hence that passage.

Meanwhile it confirms what others already knew, they like cry when they hear it. They are even asked why Muhammad is to judge between them when they have the torah, why is that?

You are just trying to find ways of idolizing him.

Even he does not believe it.

Who? The author (Abdul H. Fauq, Ph.D)?

Looks like I don't find any words where he wrote that he does not believe it.

According to my understanding, the author does not force others to believe in his article, but he (the author himself) did not state that he does not believe it.

We are the jundullah, the soldiers of Allah, we are the hizbullah, the party of Allah,

Soldiers? On what basis you could say that we are the soldiers of Allah?

Salm.

So you have all the knowledge; and you think you are not included in the Pronoun "Kum" and you learn nothing new through the Messenger.

Sorry, i did nt see he said its his 'belief'. Thats why i said that. Its his belief then. Ok. Rash posting. serious mistake from my side, i apologize.
But his belief is wrong. If he has debated this in public with salafi scholars or other Quran only scholars, he will not last much. But its just me saying, dont mind it. But am saying this not just because some 'scholar' said, but because he is wrong.

And he says Muhammad(sws). There is no 'sallallahu alayhiwassalam' after Muhammad. He got it from the hadiths/sunnis.

soldiers? On what basis you could say that we are the soldiers of Allah?

I implied, people who fight in the cause of Allah, cant they be called soldiers of Allah ? But if its wrong, i will take it back.
old sunni thoughts still existing, But if this phrase is contradicting to Quran, i will certainly take it back. I didnt check much, but seems soldiers of allah reserved only for angels, not humans. right ?

But if its wrong to say it, then i think we can call such people soldiers of Islam. What about it ?
