And what exactly does this have to do with having faith in the guidance from God or not?
These people obviously did not have faith in God and were not seeking out either. And mushriks do a bit like you and think they have to go through a mediator to become closer to God. Yours is a slightly more advanced form of idolatry if you excuse me for saying it.
Anyway, it seems like your mind is made up regarding the matter so no use for us to discuss that any further.

Just read about DNA, the code is transcribed upon the Messenger RNA whereafter it is translated.

No, not man-made hadith; but the best hadith the Grand Qur'aan, verbally and in wrriting conveyed by the elevated Messenger of Allah the Exalted.
Well, I'm glad you don't follow man-made hadiths.
But, I wonder why you seem a bit "hard core" on something?
The source of guidance is but unitary, be it for a singular cell or for human being who has about hundred trillion cells in his body. There is only one star in the Sky that comes to the rescue of a man in bewilderment of clueless location to show him the direction . The guidance information code for aright course for sustaining life of a cell is encoded in the DNA. The guidance for humanity is encoded in the Grand Qur'aan the constitution for aright conduct and guarantor of sustained life.
One star? Is it the Qur'an what you mean?
If you can find time please read this segment on the link below Superb system of transcription and translation

Yes, this is what Allah the Exalted has decided, not me. He the Exalted decided to have "mediator", He has not opted to talk to me directly. I am not like those irrational people who say why Allah the Exalted does not talk to us instead of the Messenger of Him.
Brother, Allah does not talk directly to us now, but we can talk/call/invoke to Him directly without mediator.
We indeed have to respect the messenger of Allah, but within reasonable boundaries. Our true Rescuer is Allah.

You are forgetting a basic fact. Those Mushrekeen did believe in Allah as the creator of everything and administrator of everything. Their problem was only with the Messenger and his proclamation to believe only in Allah without ascribing associates.
What you believe is nothing new.
And nothing prevented people that they might believe/accept when the Guidance/Book of Allah had came to them except that they said to people, "Has Allah appointed a human being as Messenger?"Never forget Satan believes in Allah the Exalted and also fears Him. What will differentiate you from Satan?

Salamun alaiki,
Yes, that is true. Please reflect a while how this fact is disclosed
And when My servants ask you the Messenger concerning Me, for reason of omnipresence I am indeed nearby;
I listen-respond-attend to the prayer-call of the suppliant when he calls on Me.Therefore they should transform themselves to remain persistently responsive for Me; to My call Grand Qur'aan .
And they should heartily have faith-trust in Me.This type of responsiveness might make them walk in the right way; become safe from being deceived with conjectural stories-myths and get life .
The reasonable boundaries ---you can define these after perusing it
You the Messenger pronounce "If your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your spouses and your clans;
And the wealth that you have acquired, and the business you people fear recession in it; and the residences you are delighted with
These are more attractive and dearer to you people than Allah the Exalted and the Messenger of Him the Exalted; and than endeavoring-exerting utmost for the cause-High road of Him the Exalted
Thereby, wait remain absorbed in their love until such time Allah the Exalted proclaims His decision-command.
Remain cognizant, Allah the Exalted guides not the people who are aberrant-promise breakers and transgress prescribed bounds. -
One star? Is it the Qur'an what you mean?
Moreover, He the Exalted has arranged for you people the Stars
So that you people might guide yourselves in finding direction by them in the layers of darkness-clueless locations-unmarked spaces-bewilderment of the Desert-Land and the Ocean.
Our Majesty has made the Aa'ya'at verbal passages conveying information, facts and knowledge about things-concepts as vividly distinct-demarcated-isolated-alienated-crystal clear for the people in pursuit of knowing-understanding.In this Ayah plural is used STARS.
And the distinct marks ;
And they people get the direction-destination-guidance with the help of the Star.Grand Qur'aan was meant, not only for those Arabs who were to listen it first, but is for the entire humanity in time and space. Therefore, its language is such that it contains and narrates a fact in such manner that it should seem and could have been perceived as an absolute truth by its first listeners, and prove to be an absolute fact for the posterity for whom the knowledge of the universe will keep unfolding. The above statement of the Grand Qur'aan is a fact from whatever angle it may be seen. In common knowledge, people perceive that North/Pole Star is the one but that is not the fact. Today North Star is Polaris but in 7500 there will be some other Star as Pole Star and in 15000 another one will take this place and after 9000 years today's North Pole Polaris will again be stationed there.
Similarly, in every day life the source of guidance is always one. No man-made hadith/guidance is guidance. Allah the Exalted guides only through the Messenger sent alongwith the Book.

I've opened it. Is that your personal website?
Yes, it is our ongoing free source project. Its main page
This is a free source for the learners-beginners, scholars and researchers. We are trying to provide them the necessary tools-kit at one page-window that are required for reading a book and comprehending its semantic information and message. Reading is necessarily for comprehending the semantic information and knowledge infolded in the text. Comprehension is but real-time translation of the text while reading. Real-time translation by the reader renders him as if he is directly listening the voice of the author of the Book and of the elevated Messenger who relayed it verbally and in writing.
Learning to translate and comprehend the text of Grand Qur'aan is merely a skill. Everybody can and should acquire it. What we need is only the desire to develop personal contact with the Author of Qur'aan, Allah the Exalted and the elevated universal Messenger Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam; and the tools-kit which is required to translate and comprehend the second-language text.
Tools-Kit for acquiring the skill for real-time translation
The text of languages is typically divided into three categories
-
Word;
-
Phrase;
-
Sentence
The Kit for learners-beginners Grand Qur'aan is easy to learn-Grammar; Morphology and Syntax.
The Kit for scholars Grand Qur'aan in 21st century-easy to comprehend and translate
Reference for assistance Translation of Ayah after grammatical parsing of sentences. Each word of Ayah is grammatically defined and is linked with its Root page where all words of that Root occurring in Qur'aan are alphabetically arranged. Classical lexicons and Lane Lexicon for cross check are also linked on the Root page.
Grammatical parsing of the text-sentences of each Ayah is also linked in the side pane.
Please remember that no translation of the Qur'aan will ever be exhaustive and final. The day you acquire the skill, I am sure you will render a far better and precise translation than my and my wife's effort.

Peace Mazhar,
It may have been a similar scenario with you here and now. They said "a human messenger" because they were in the delusion that Jesus was not an ordinary man. Your problem is about making distinction between messengers and having a mediator between you and God instead of simply heeding the quite easy message that Muhammad came with that was for you to get your eyes up on God and to bring news to those who have faith and warn the ones who do wrong has been the purpose of these messengers throughout history.
And these people had mediators just like you and they think that they are in a better position than themselves so they go through them to get closer to God. You do not think I have knowledge already what is in the decree?
And if you do not think that God is actively guiding you and subtly inspiring you then I must say you lack faith and God is not with you. Perhaps your obsession with Muhammad causes that. Idolatry causes God to become furious you know.
Muhammad did not come with anything really new so I could as well have, for example, Jesus as my messenger, but I favorize none but God. I heeded their message and thus I serve The Master alone without having a mediator.
I would be fine if I lived according to the instruction (torah) really so you are mistaken about this mediator taking.
Satan does not have any respect for God and I am not sure why you involve him in this discussion. Of course Satan knows God exist and believe because he was there. He fears God because he knows God's might. But he does not respect God at all or he would not do what he does the revengeful bastard.
And nothing has prevented me from having faith when God sent down guidance. I had faith before I even begun studying the book called Quran and I needed no mediator and Jesus was a sign just as Muhammad and I appreciate that God sent down that information to them. And God ALONE I praise for that.
So you heed the message but you ascribe a partner by taking the previous messenger as your idol?
Praise God for guiding you if you are truly guided.

A claimant of belief follows in practice either the Messenger of Allah the Exalted, Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam Or the Satan. The ill will you nurture in your chest against the elevated Messenger makes you deaf and blind to the words of Allah the Exalted.
Do you love and regard the God?
You the Messenger pronounce "If you people have been loving Allah the Exalted;
Then to demonstrate and prove it, you are instructed to heartily and diligently follow me in letter and spirit without in between there a third party intervention and influence.
If you acted accordingly, Allah the Exalted will in response-reciprocally love-appreciate and acknowledge you people.
Moreover, He the Exalted will overlook and grant forgiveness for you people for your earlier wrong-doings.
Remember, Allah the Exalted is the Forgiving-Overlooking and the Merciful".How can you follow him when even taking of his name irks you. Do you still claim you love God!!

How can you follow him when even taking of his name irks you. Do you still claim you love God!!
Agreed! Many people here seems like they are bothered with the name 'Muhammad'. Brother Man of Faith happens to be just one of them. I am sorry, but that is what his posts make me feel like. They argue that Muhammad (pbuh) was simply just a 'man'. Sure, he was a man. But he was not as ordinary as they portray him to be. He was a prophet of God. His status is much higher and elevated than any of us. What is there of being more honorable than being a prophet of God? NOTHING!
I LOVE THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD AND ALL THE OTHER PROPHETS AND MESSENGERS OF ALLAH. MAY PEACE BE UPON ALL OF THEM.
-
Peace,
I have no problem with Muhammad nor is the name bothering me either. However, I still consider him to be an ordinary man except that he had a special honor of being a messenger of God likely due to exceptional devotion. He earned this status through hard work and he likely worked his life to purify himself to reach that condition and there are also hints that he had problems that God helped him with because Muhammad was devoted to God alone and sought The Master's counsel like any servant of God should be doing.
The problem is that some, then you are in that group, exalt the messengers exceedingly much for no reason. It outwardly looks like idolization. God knows what is in your hearts but I am just saying what I feel about what I see. If one says a messenger is a mediator and you regard him highly because he is in a better position than you are then you actually fulfill the associator (mushrik) criteria.
You can respect him because that is no more than fair of me and you and God even told the angels to respect Adam. But he is far from a partner of God that is supposed to be exalted and praised.
God bless you
-
Peace,
I dont think its hardwork thats earning a position of messenger. Jesus was a messenger, and Mary was given the good news about Jesus before he was born. Jesus had to do no work for that.
Prophet Muhammad was just like any other messengers like Jesus, Moses etc.
The position of messengership is a great honour. And Allah has honored them. That's not a small thing.
Peace be upon all of them.
-
Peace,
Jesus was a special case you know.
I am sure Muhammad had quite some work with himself and was not just an honorable messenger the next day. You can become disqualified as a messenger and it shows that devotion from the person is required and you are not just simply a messenger without showing your caliber. There are hints of the Arabic discourse that Muhammad was helped into a better character from something he was previously not. And he nearly leaned towards the wrongdoers and it was God who supported him so that he came away from it. God is your guide and God you serve and God you seek for help.
Moses killed a man and they had their own struggles all of them you know.
Even if some are already known messengers from birth that does not mean they are flawless and must not go through hard work to improve themselves and get taught.
God bless you
-

No one can exalt anyone. Only Allah the Exalted exalts him about whom He decides. We only accept the exaltation granted by Allah. Satan did not accept the exaltation granted by Allah to Adam. There lies the difference. Did Allah the Exalted ask Satan to idolize Adam; or to just show obeisance to him, pay regards accepting him as superior to himself?

Revelation to the level of the Qur'an means that you have attained the highest spiritual level. It is not some water tap that you turn on or off. You mus have a purity as you say, MoF absolutely exceptional. The Qur'an are many pages, it is not just a twitter message. To sustain that you must be absolutely exceptional. And what I gather from the Qur'an is that Myhammad must have been somebody very unassuming. His task was formidable. The Qur'an is not about his person. He was so pure that the pure words of revelation could go through him without contamination. Pure. We have them so thanks to his devotion to God and his dedication. I do not have any qualms in speaking all good about him. The Qur'an calls him khatam annabiyin. I am sure that it is because of the message he brought which is de seal that endorses true revelation. But to be called that and not have an utterance in the Qur'an where he presumes for himself something means a lot. Means that he indeed did match his description as khatam an-nabiyin. That is any prophet that matches Muhammad is authentic and deserving of being called so.
I do not like when thing look as if we were in some Prophet championship. There is a thread for championships already in the forum. Prophets are one. They are not individualities vying for importance. They are pure people, human, of course, but pure and purified. And they lived to serve us, to serve us all. Service is the highest spiritual station. There is reason to salute them and thank them and for us tu pray that we may learn from them to improve ourselves.

This is supposed to be the main topic of the thread.
Why there is a need for something as such as statement of "Seal of the prophet"?The claim of X as "Seal / Last of the Prophethood" and/or "The Greatest Prophet among Prophets" was not entirely new even in 7th century.
The "John The Baptist's Fans Club" (a.k.a Mandaeans) think that John The Baptist is the "Last Prophet and Greatest Prophet". "Jesus Fans Club" think that Jesus is the "Last Prophet and Greatest Prophet". Zoroastrians think that Zarathustra is "Last Prophet and Greatest Prophet". Rabbanical Judaism think that "Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi" are the last prophet. And now suddenly Muhammadans think that Muhammad is "Last Prophet and Greatest Prophet".
This "over fanatical attitude" towards a man or a group of men is the reason to suspect the verse as a 'forgery'. It all stem from motivation to "shut off" rivalries. And has resulted in many persecution of those who claimed to be "Prophet". (Jesus was crucified, John was beheaded and so does hundreds or thousands of others)
While from actual facts, God's revelation did not stop, in fact it's accelerating up until now.
Prophets are one. They are not individualities vying for importance. They are pure people, human, of course, but pure and purified.
Prophets are not 'pure' (in understanding of 'free from mistakes', they're human, they made mistakes just like any other human. Prophets are supposed to be merely a 'conveying instrument' for 'inspiring messages', like a cell phone delivering a voice message.
Having said that there are million ways to deliver 'inspiring message' and Prophet is just one out of millions.
At the moment, I think the "Continuation of God sending warning/revelation/message" to humanity is the sole reason why Jesus did not bothered to wrote / compiled the Gospel, Salih did not bothered to wrote any book or Muhammad did not bothered to wrote / compiled the Quran. And so does John The Baptist and many others unnamed Prophets.
There are always chances of 'fake / false message' being put in once the "messages" coming out from the Prophet's mouth were memorized and being written into a piece of paper.. but it doesn't matter as God is the sole keeper of truth, He will always continue to send out "reminder" and "inspirational message" and falsehood shall be proven to be false, because it's not in accordance to 'reality'. And truth shall be proven to be true because it's in accordance to 'reality'.
Salam / Peace

khatam is not last, is khatam. I don't understand this need to say that something is a different thing of what is said it is. it is khatam not last.
As to that expression being a lagter addiction either one has proof or it is merely that, personal conjecture. And sustaining it on the basis that one does not see its meaning, again prooves nothing. I, for one, see something, see that in fact the Qur'an, the message brought by the khatam annabiyin, is the means, other than personal appreciation, by which we can say that any revelation is authentic if it agrees with the content of the Qur'an or is not authentic if it does not.
As to a prophet being like any common person, it is preposterous. It is like saying that Landru or the Boston strangler is just like any common person.
Any common person is nto going to receive pages of revelation, for that one has to be spiritually awaken and humble to a point that is not at all common fare amongst common people. If it was so, the whole population would be receiving revelations. In fact we all receive"revelations" at some level, but we know, if we are ot delusional, that those revelations we may have are light-years from what the prophets receive and transmit. Particularly the Qur'an, if it is so common have every other person coming out with qur'ans.
Why does it hurt so much to acknowledge that there are people who are exrremely pure, humble and dedicagted to the service of humanity for God's sake? Is it so painful?

Well here's an agreement, khatam or not khatam it really doesn't matter...
by which we can say that any revelation is authentic if it agrees with the content of the Qur'an or is not authentic if it does not.
Any kind of message or 'revelation' is authentic if it agrees with reality.
As to a prophet being like any common person, it is preposterous. It is like saying that Landru or the Boston strangler is just like any common person.
Who is Landru or Boston Strangler?
Prophet is like any common person, a person with an assignment..
MoF has cited a good example on Moses murdered an Egyptian, Jonah tried to escape / run away from his assignment, Abraham performed human sacrifice on his own son (albeit failed to do so in the end).Any common person is nto going to receive pages of revelation, for that one has to be spiritually awaken and humble to a point that is not at all common fare amongst common people.
And you shall never be able to guess the 'spirituality' of people which you considered as 'common'.
If it was so, the whole population would be receiving revelations.
It's possible, why not?
In fact we all receive"revelations" at some level,
See? you said it yourselves..
but we know, if we are ot delusional, that those revelations we may have are light-years from what the prophets receive and transmit.
We are 'delusional' when we're thinking something to be true while it's not inline with reality.
Particularly the Qur'an, if it is so common have every other person coming out with qur'ans.
Because each has their own purposes, every message / revelation fits its own context and purposes dependent on time and place.
Why does it hurt so much to acknowledge that there are people who are exrremely pure, humble and dedicagted to the service of humanity for God's sake? Is it so painful?
Not at all, and why do you think in such manner??
There are millions of such people from the past up until today and well into the future.
Most of them never asked anyone bear testimony that 'they're a prophet'. (or something)It's either you testify that "Einsten is the last and greatest physicist" or you're working for Satan..
It's either you believe in Einstein's Relativity or you're an unbeliever and doomed for hell.
See how ridiculous that is?Is Einstein really the last greatest Physicist??
How's that matter???
It matter only for "Einstein fanatical club"..Salam / Peace
