Imrankhawaja,
Did you accidentally miss the main point of what I posted. In case you did. Here it is again
"Also it is useful to note that there is no mention in the text of Prophet Solomon (pbuh) missing a prayer, or as commonly believed the Asr prayer."

It's called confirmation bias https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias
Confirmation bias, also called confirmatory bias or myside bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's beliefs or hypotheses, while giving disproportionately less consideration to alternative possibilities. It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning People display this bias when they gather or remember information selectively, or when they interpret it in a biased way. The effect is stronger for emotionally charged issues and for deeply entrenched beliefs.

him.
3832 He said ?I have enjoyed materialism more than I enjoyed the
remembrance of my Lord; until it had set beyond the horizon!?
3833 ?Send them back.? He then rubbed their legs and necks.peace...

Imrankhawaja,
My Arabic is good brother. Neither the term 3asr nor the term salaat are there, and the article clearly stated that as well. In the end I am glad that you understand that there is no shirk involved in our disagreement and you respect the right of all, including Muslims to make conclusions about their religion. I just wish you were able to see what is going on here more clearly. But Maa shaa Allah. May you be well and may Allah bless you and us all.

"He said 'I have enjoyed materialism over the remembrance of my Lord, until the sun had gone beyond the horizon!'" (Qur'an 3832)
Verse 3832 clarifies to us from the story of Solomon that the Wusta/Middle Salat ends when the sun can no longer be sighted above the horizon.

thanx,,, sometimes i m confused about two ,,, two are confirmed anyhow and thats morning and evening in which we have to start a procedure like staart from abolution or bath,,,
but sometimes i think theres another salat possibly exist middle salat ,,, i hope you somewhere studied about it regarding that prayer
but yes two are hund percent confirmed,,, thanx for sharing ur knowledge ,,,

Imrankhawaja,
I totally understand your confusion. I decided to take the Quran's advice about the mu7kamaat (concise) verses vs. the mutashaabihaat (ambiguous) verses approach. If any verse is confusing/ambiguous I see if it can directly relate to or mean a more clear verse. Every verse about salaat that I have seen has a meaning that can be directly giving details about a fajr and 3ishaa (maghrib) Salaat. Because the verse that mentions fajr and 3ishaa salaat are the clearest and most indisputable I relate all of the verses that are not clear to these clear timings. At this point all the other mentions of salaat can coincide in meaning to just those two. I am not against praying more than that. But I cannot say that there are more than 2 obligatory prayers with the highly recommended prayer that involves staying up at night, i.e. tahajjud.

jazakAllah mmy brother

no my brother ,,, its not personal at all,,, because as per my knowledge its a law that lunch break should be taken by all employee in all comapines of world... even in schools where we study... colleges.. everywhere.. if the timing is between 9 to 5 ,,, rest of the evenning and night shifts job... its depend on the time zone,,, forexample here in uk in winter u can perform ur night pprayer at 4 o clock PM it depends but mmost of the time,, the prayer timmes not effect you somehow,, u can easily manage
Peace imrankhawaja, your conclusion is not supported by Quran Kareem.
You like I must rethink our position in order to come in line with what Allah
says in his book.and from the support of quran,,, when i type next post to my brother who just send me the article you can find references there,,,
When you get the references plz share.
@ imrankhawaja, As-Salaatayn, Wakas, forum members
How many rakats are there in the ritual salat, so far I have two answers
-
One rakat (Stand, bow and prostrate)
-
It's up to the individual (prostrate and stand)

Peace imrankhawaja, your conclusion is not supported by Quran Kareem.
You like I must rethink our position in order to come in line with what Allah
says in his book.the topic was about middle salat... as u see my next posts,,, and the answer was replied on non quraninc base question when u asked its ur company who give u lunch break? but what about the other ,,,,, and then i cleared ,,, its a law that every company give their employees lunch break,,, even school colleges,,
now come to the point of understanding quranic salat two were confirmed as u see the discussion between me and al salatyeen,,, but one middle salat is ambigious as per most of the people ,,, now its depend on the person how he understannd the quran wording and make his faith,,, btw i still perform three as i feel there is no harm in it,,,

Hawk99,
Even the term rak'ah is problematic. Traditionally it is defined as anything that involves first standing then bending down to the knees then going to prostration and prostrating twice. There doesn't HAVE to be a second standing after the bending to the knees traditionally known as rukoo'.
Linguistically rak'ah just mans one rokoo' an rukoo' means bending down, and can even include bending down all the way down into what we know as sujood. Sujood has two means of bending down (rukoo' and prostrating (al-khuroor 3alaa al-adhqaan). "falling on the chins" is idiomatic expression for bowing with ones forehead and nose to the ground. The expression is idiomatic because it comes from how camels prostrate with their chins on the ground.
With that said as referenced before the Quran says 'bowing and standing' and 'standing and bowing.' It's use of 'bowing and standing' says to me that one must stand after having bowed down to the ground.
What does that mean? Well, there are a few options as I see it. And I have no problems with options. If you do...well.. try to see my point that not everything HAS to be a uniform formula.
Options
-
Pray as most Muslims do with two traditional rak'ahs at the very least. You can come back up after doing what is traditionally known as rukoo' or you can just go straight down to sujood. It is up to you. But this is a traditional rak'ah with two sujoods after sitting up known as sajdah and then standing after the second sajdah/sujood.
-
Start your prayer standing, go down to what is traditionally known as sujood. You can sit up and continue to make what is traditionally known as sajdah as much as you want and then you can stand back up when you'd like and end your prayer in a standing position. Or you can go back down and make as many sajdahs as you'd like again and end your prayer sitting or even in sujood. Stopping at the knees before going fully down or stopping at the knees standing again and then going all the way down is up to you.
-
Stand, go down to sujood then stand back up. You can stop there or repeat as you like. If you want to stop at the knees and come back up before you go all the way down or stop at the knees and then go all the way down that is up to you. As you stand after having bowed.

Peace,
Yes I do believe it is a reference to Salaat, as Salaat is the first thing mentioned. Wa Aqimis-salaat. Although the reading can be taken as during or apart from the Salaat. The main issue is how to interpret dulooku-sh-shams. It has a meaning of noon, but a seemingly stronger meaning of sunset. In this case it is a mutashaabiha verse. But it has a meaning that coincides with a mu7kamah verse. That meaning is 3ishaa' or evening, being sunset and twilight. So that is the meaning I take. It also has a meaning of twilight and sunrise because the same thing that happens at sunset happens at sunrise but in the opposite direction. This coincides with fajr. That clears it up for me.

Peace As-Salaatayn, the salat that is to be observed as the sun declines (17/7
is problematic for you because of its ambiguity. I do not see the ambiguity I
take what is best and that is to perform the salat (s) as the sun moves towards sunset.de?cline.
VERB
3.(especially of the sun) move downward.
Dal-Lam-Kaf = rubbing, squeezing, pressing, decline, sinking, become red, set,
incline downwards from the meridian (sun). The phrase "duluk-as-shams" defined as "sunset"
setting of the sun / the sun became high, by Lane.so it's all about the sun

I understand your position. But I find it to be the weaker interpretation.
