How do you make a male of the single nafs? It i unwarranted by the text.

    Salaam

    Salaam/Peace be upon you, Huruf,

based on this Verse, in the first place

    =====================
28- (For HIM), the creation of you all and the resurrection of you all
is but like a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body&quot. ........

    (QURAN TESTAMENT 31/28)

    Hence, I clearly infer here

single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body&quot can thus also refer to all "nufoos" (=i.e. all souls/bodies of "male-kind" above)

    or/and

single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body&quot can thus also refer to all "nufoos" (=i.e. all souls/bodies of "female-kind" above)

Thereupon, I clearly understand it here, as follows

    ===========================
1- O people, be aware of your LORD Who has created you of/as a single "nafs" (=single "soul/body" = whole "male kind&quot
and HE created thereof (=i.e. of exactly same physical/genetic material) "its mate" (i.e. =whole "female kind&quot,
and HE sent forth from two-of-them (=i.e. from --(the marriage of all individuals within)-- those "male kind" & "female kind" above)
    many men and women; ..........

    (QURAN TESTAMENT 4/1)

    Remain in peace/salaam.

How or why do you infer that?

You are already taking that there is a single sex that is the original, which is not logical nor thinkable and what makes you make it the male? Is it just a randomm picking or what?

If we look at huma bodies we clearly see the single nafs from which they all sprung, both sexes have all the sexual traits of both sexes, only that those that are not to be useful to the sex of the person are repressed, but they are still there. Why should males have nipples, why should women have clitoris?

      Remember 4.1.
      Hence, I clearly infer here

It says ittaqw-llah... and the wombs. Wombs are present in all mammals. Gos is telling us much more than we, brainwashed by biblica hubris, are willing to accept.

All mammals are like we. We see males have nipples... and some aimals like hyenas have an enormous clitoris.

Also in something like empthy we do feel more for mammals than for other animals, because finally we come from the same idea.

The nafsin wahidattin is not a sex, it is both sexes, and from it comes each one's mate, the mate of the female ad the mate of the male. There is no sex signalled here, that is, what is said applies to both equally.

That is also, although with very few words, what Genesis says, although right immediately starts with the mysogyistic rant of the poor Adam cheated by disobedient Eve.

      Alhamdulillah!

      Salaam

        Let mi add

That is also hat happens today. In the first stage of development inn the womb, the creature can still be of any sex, it has ppotentia for both, only later thse traits that are of a sex are repressed, while the others develop normally. We still carry our origin with us.

        Salaam

No, it is not a random picking. Because I can clearly see it here, in this Verse,
            in the first place

            ===============
189- HE is the ONE Who has created you from a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body" male kind)

So when he embraced her, she became pregnant with a light load, ...............

            (QURAN TESTAMENT 7/189-190)

And so, I clearly understand it in the exact same/similar way
            here again

            ===========================
1- O people, be aware of your LORD Who has created you as/of a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body" male kind)

And finally, based on these clear Understandings above --(from within those 3 Verses openly referred to
in my previous post and then in this post),
            I can clearly conclude

            1. All individuals of the male kind are (physically-genetically) same/equal to each other
              like a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body),"

            (7/189 = 4/1 = 31/2

And this makes Absolutely Perfect Sense to me,

And this makes Absolutely Perfect Sense to me,
in the Light of whole QURAN TESTAMENT. (=31/28 & 49/13)

              Remain in peace/salaam.

              The first one.

You are confusing the nafs with the male, a single nafs is not a male nor a female, but what it does say, a single nafs, which was one, and now is going to be made into a couple. Yo do not have any reason to consider that nafs either male or female. In fact, to be able to get a couple from it it has to be both or contain the potential for both.

To indicate that the nafsun wahidatun is a male the Qur'an would have had many devices at hand and not take so much care to not state a sex or even hint at it. In fact the sex is created when the nafsun wahidatun is split.

And then it says it takes out its mate, what easier than to have said that it takes out the female or the male if it was so that the nafsin wahidatun had already a sex. What say the word zawj which is good for both sexes and not use the word female if it was indeed that it was a female that was pulled from it or a male if that were the case.

I am surprised that anybody finds any logic in this pulling of a female out of a male or a male out of female, athough this second versionn in a males' world is not so easy to come across, while at the same time indeed all males come out of a female, just as all females come also out of a female. It must be a need to equal the score in a competitive world to have the males haave their rematch by making that nafsun wahidatun a male.

And also, you have ignored the ctual proofs in the biology and physiollogy of both sexes. The Qur'an matches reallity ot magic.

              The second.

              [

You jump the gun. There is a nafsun wahidatun. Then from that nafsin wahidatin a couple is brought out. two sexes are brought out, to each one its partner. And after there is couple, then one of the couple does this or that. But before there is the couple there is only the nafsun wahidatun and therefore nobody can incline on to other nor have another incline to one.

The sexes spring out simultanoeusly, from the unified nafs.

              Salaam

I respect your different point of view, but again I would like to stick, primarily, with this Understanding here,
                because of the Fact that

                ===============
189- HE is the ONE Who has created you of/as a single "nafs" (=i.e. male kind) and HE (also) made thereof

she became pregnant with a light load, ...............

                (QURAN TESTAMENT 7/189-190)

as far as I can clearly see in the above Verse

this single "nafs" (=i.e. a male individual among that male kind above) thereafter immediately goes to his "spouse" (="zawjaha&quot above,
in order that he may incline (in compassion and love) towards her (=liyaskuna ilayha) and lawfully embraces her and thereby
she (=i.e. a female individual among that female kind above) lawfully gets pregnant therein above ..... (=7/189-190)

And so, I clearly understand it in the exact same/similar way
                here again

                ===========================
1- O people, be aware of your LORD Who has created you of/as a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body" male kind)

*in my understanding, this absolutely does Not imply that
"female kind" has been created from "male kind" above,

                but it absolutely implies that
"female kind" has been created of exactly same physical/genetic material as "male kind" above,

and HE sent forth from two-of-them (=i.e. from --(the marriage of each of those individuals within)-- that male kind & female kind above)

in my previous post and then in this post again),
thus I can clearly and unmistakably conclude, inshaAL-LAH, here again

                1. All individuals of the male kind are (physically-genetically) same/equal to each other
                  like a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body),"

                2. All individuals of the female kind are (physically-genetically) same/equal to each other
                  like a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body),"

                3. All individuals of the male kind & female kind are (physically-genetically) same/equal to each other
                  like a single "nafs" (=i.e. single "soul/body),"

                (7/189 = 4/1 = 31/2

And this makes Absolutely Perfect Sense to me,
in the Light of whole QURAN TESTAMENT. (=31/28 & 49/13)

                      (QURAN TESTAMENT 4/1)

And finally, based on these clear Understandings above --(from within those 3 Verses openly referred to
in my previous post and then in this post again),
thus I can clearly and unmistakably conclude, inshaAL-LAH, here again

                      Remain in peace/salaam.

That is your understanding, but you do realise that what you put in brackets is not the Qur'an which says it but YOU say it.

If what you say were true, the Qur'an would have said it. It did not, therefore you are correcting the Qur'an.

A nafsun wahidatun is not synonim of male.

Just speakign about the Qur'an, if you go to the real world and nature, it does not make any sense at all.

                      Salaam

A female soul is also a "nafs". She is an individual.

interesting thing is this verse number and chapter number is in pair ...

Peace, no verse numbering is incorrect and offset...

                            Salaam/Peace be upon you, Huruf,

This is how I see it What I put in those brackets is to help you (and every one of us who will now read it here) see
"what I understand the QURAN says"

so after reading it with those brackets,
then please, erase in your mind all whatever there in those brackets, and now read only what is there in the original Text therein,

now if you still can understand it the same way I related it to you with those brackets, in the first place,
then indeed, "the QURAN says it" for me and for all of us here,

but if you cannot understand it the same way I related it to you with those brackets, in the first place,
then indeed, "the QURAN says it" for me but not for all of us here.

Then we may respectfully disagree. And our Lord AL-LAH will teach us the Best Answer in the Hereafter, inshaAL-LAH.
As long as all of us are sincere and truthful and loyal to AL-LAH Alone, in our heart here,
then our Lord AL-LAH may reward those of us (who got it Right) due to our Correct/Rightful Understanding in this issue,
and may forgive those of us (could not get it Right) due to our Correct/Righteous Attitude in this issue.

                            (=QURAN TESTAMENT 5/16 = 2/286 = 39/33-35)

A nafsun wahidatun is not synonim of male.

                            ............

Yes, but I have never claimed that nafsun wahidatun (=single soul/body) is synonym of male,
all I say is nafsun wahidatun (=single soul/body) clearly refers to male in this Verse,
due to the Reasons highlighted here

                            ===============
189- HE is the ONE Who has created you of/as a single "nafs" (=i.e. male kind) and HE (also) made thereof
                            "its mate" (=i.e. female kind),
that he (=i.e. a male individual among that male kind above) may incline towards her (=i.e. a female individual
among that female kind above) --therein.
So (thereupon), when he (=i.e. a male individual above) lawfully embraced her (=i.e. a female individual above),
she became pregnant with a light load, ...............

                            (QURAN TESTAMENT 7/189-190)

now let us see it again here this time without any brackets

                            ===============
189- HE is the ONE Who has created you of/as a single "nafs" and HE (also) made thereof "its mate,"
that he may incline towards her --therein.
So (thereupon), when he lawfully embraced her she became pregnant with a light load, ...............

                            (QURAN TESTAMENT 7/189-190)

So because that when this single "nafs" above thus inclined to his spouse (=i.e. of course, she is also another single "nafs&quot therein (=21/35)
and lawfully embraced her she became pregnant and they thus have a wonderful baby,
by the Grace of AL-LAH unto both of them, therein (=Chapter 7, Verses 189-190),

therefore, I believe, I can clearly conclude that this nafsun wahidatun (=single soul/body) clearly refers to male above, in the first place,
but I do not claim that this is the one and only meaning in this Verse, because there may also be second and third ..... meanings, and all of them
may be correct in some sense, but for now, I would like to focus and stick with this most essential and first meaning above, and continue
on my Way to explore the "history of humankind," in the Light of whole QURAN TESTAMENT, deeper/further, inshaAL-LAH.

                            Remain in peace/salaam.

Peace -- no it is opposite; Arabic ending always feminine and states female was first then her male mate then they procreated. Likewise all fetus are coded in early stages of pregnancy start as female then few weeks later male code takes over for those programmed to be male.

41 O you the humankind fear/be mindful ye of lord yours the one creation yours from nafsin/soul (f/s) widatin/single (f/s) and created from her/it zawjah/spouse hers and dispersed from them dual rijlan/menfolk of much of wanisan/and womenfolk ?

                              7189 he the one creation yours from nafsin/soul (f/s) widatin/single (f/s) and made from her/it zawjah/spouse hers ?

                              See also examples ..,
2190 so responded we to him and gave we to him Yaya/John and cured we for him zawjahu/spouse his

581 hence heard the god speech the one (f/s) disputes with you in/concerning spouse hers ?

                                Salaam/Peace be upon you, Noon,

I can clearly see that due to the fact that "Nafs" (=soul/body) is essentially a feminine word in Arabic,
so even when it refers to a "male" it can still legitimately refer to him with a feminine pronoun as (=)
                                some examples are here

                                65/7 =Nafs (=the husband therein) is referred to as (= )
2/286 =Nafs (=every individual the man or/and woman therein) is referred to as (= )

and there are many other such solid examples ....

So, in its whole context it seems so clear to me that
this nafsun wahidatun (=single soul/body) also clearly and legitimately refers to male in this Verse,
due to the Reasons highlighted here

                                ===============

that he may incline towards her --therein.
So (thereupon), when he lawfully embraced her she became pregnant with a light load, ...............

So because that when this single "nafs" above thus inclined to its mate (=i.e. of course, she is also another single "nafs&quot therein (=21/35)
and lawfully embraced her she became pregnant and they thus have a wonderful baby,

                                    Salaam/Peace be upon you, Huruf,

                                    due to the Fact that

"Nafs" (=soul/body) is essentially a feminine word in Arabic,
so even when it refers to a "male" it can still legitimately refer to him with a feminine pronoun as (=)

So thereby, I can clearly conclude that in exact similar/same manner, I can understand this in the same way above,
                                    also here

                                    7/189 =Nafs wahidatun (=the husband therein) is referred to as (= )

But --(reflecting upon it further, again, after your wonderful reminder above)-- now I can also clearly see that

                                    in this respect, now here

                                      Salaam/Peace be upon you, Noon,

I can clearly see that due to the fact that "Nafs" (=soul/body) is essentially a feminine word in Arabic,
so even when it refers to a "male" it can still legitimately refer to him with a feminine pronoun as (=&#1575
                                      some examples are here

                                      65/7 =Nafs (=the husband therein) is referred to as (= &#1575
2/286 =Nafs (=every individual the man or/and woman therein) is referred to as (= &#1578

Peace LastDay3, in Arabic masculine when pertaining to people depending on context can apply to all or each gender as in ?he/said person? or feminine soul which each person has.

2286 not burdens the god soul of (i.e. any soul) except capacity its to it what earned and on it what has earned ?
657 ? not burdens the god soul of except what has given it brings about the god after difficult hardship ease of

However, after creation/birth as in context of 7189 zawjah can never apply to male, example already given.

7189 he the one creation yours from soul (f/s) widatin/single (f/s) and made from her/it zawjah/spouse hers ?

                                        Peace all,

There is this ayat in the Quran that made reference to Isa being similar to adam. Biologically, the human form starts with a female. And in the ayat being referred to previously, states the female carries the first burden of procreation bringing life to this world.

In my mind, to compensate the first burden that may cost a life (pregnancy), the burden of livelihood is assigned to the male to care for the female (as inferred in the laws of inheritance). However, our Lord has given humankind freedom to dictate our lives as we please.

Thus it does not matter being man or woman, both are humans and the Lord only differentiate us by what we do. We may choose to take siratal mustaqim, the easiest and straightest way of life, by first choosing to read the Quran with a sincere heart - contemplate - understand - practice - submit - choosing to abandon doubts - achieve real faith. OR

we may choose the hard way - to which road it leads remains a big question.

                                          Peace LastDay3,

in Arabic masculine when pertaining to people depending on context can apply to all or each gender as in ?he/said person? or feminine soul which each person has.

2190... and cured we for him zawjahu/spouse his

                                          Salaam/Peace be upon you, Noon,

As I clearly said before (in another thread) I do not consider traditional Arabic grammar rules to be GOD-Made Rules.
I believe, they are Not "GOD-Made Rules," they are only "man-made rules" and AL-LAH has no obligation to follow them.
So thereby, I always prefer to learn all the Rules absolutely and only from within QURAN TESTAMENT, not from any traditional Arabic grammar books or lexicons, etc.

So based on this essential Understanding above, let us clearly see these Verses here

....... We could have given every nafs (=soul) its guidance (=) =i.e. her guidance --or/and-- his guidance (=32/13)

....... We do not burden any nafs (=soul) except with its capacity (=) =i.e. her capacity --or/and-- his capacity (=23/62)

....... HE is the ONE Who has created you of/as a single nafs (=soul) and made thereof its mate (=) =i.e. her mate --or/and-- his mate (=7/189)

So in all of these situations (and also many other like this) throughout QURAN TESTAMENT,
I clearly conclude that this specific pronoun (=) can thus refer to her (=i.e. female) --or/and-- to him (=i.e. male), simultaneously, Equally.

You may of course disagree with me on this --(like you always do in most issues yeah tempt yeah), but please, do me a favor, brother Noon, and let's not discuss it here.
I know you like discussions very much and so it does not come to an end easily with you, it must go on and on ...... handshake
                                          But because I want to absolutely continue, inshaAL-LAH, to explore this most important Issue (=Evolutionary Creation MIRACLE of Humans;
its Ground Breaking Importance in Theological & Scientific & Mathematical Understanding).

So if you start a new topic on above issue, I may give you some other solid/concrete Examples there as well,
and we may continue to discuss it as long as you wish, handshake inshaAL-LAH.

                                          Remain in peace/salaam.
