It's not a myth. There's no such thing as good carbs and bad carbs. That's a myth and big lie.

Low carb lifestyle is for everyone

Do you know how the body functions regarding food and so on? I mean the reactions and why obesity happens?

Those Chinese rice eaters are hella obese.

Wakas is right and carbs are as needed as everything else. We are omnivore species so we need it all, we are not designed to eat a kind of macronutrientd only, you just need a equilibrated diet! maaaaany brain functions work by the energy and elements provided by carbs...

Even taking it quranically, first in number come foods with carbs as main macronutrient, protein and fat are referred less times.

I'm not sure that I understand all what you're talking here, but maybe ayets 257 and 261 are about what you're talking and maybe they can help you.

Those Chinese rice eaters are hella obese.

There's a difference. Their bodies are used to rice. It's been around them longer than when bread was discovered millennia ago.
Europeans, Middle Easterners, Africans, and east Asians; their bodies are more used to fat than carbs.

It's really easy. Check where obesity happens, and you realize these people's bodies are meant to consume fats instead of carbs.

Since most are unaware of the reactions, I will explain.

We eat carbs. Normally, the pancreas would excrete insulin to cause reactions to break down the carbs. While insulin is known for that, it also has another function; to store fat. So the more carbs one eats, the more insulin=storing more fat.
The simplest solution would be to minimize carbs and increase fat (our natural source of energy).
Many people will still not gain weight, and there are many reasons. Perhaps an extremely active person, or hyperthyroidism etc., eventually it catches up.

Even if it won't cause obesity, eating too much carbs will lead to diabetes. And it's understandable considering our pancreas isn't meant to excrete so much insulin...the body mistakes the pancreas as malfunction for excreting sooooooooo much insulin, thus the immune system attacks the pancreas, specifically the cells excreting insulin, causing diabetes type-2 (I don't know about type-1).

This is just an indicator that out bodies are meant to consume fat in larger quantities and carbs in much smaller.

I'm not Chinese and have been eating high carb low fat for 3 years now. My blood sugar levels are fine and i'm nowhere near overweight.
It's a fact those who eat a whole foods, plant based diet are slimmer, have lower rates of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

Low sugar, underweight, and low cholesterol and low blood pressure doesn't mean healthy. It can be as dangerous as high blood sugar, overweight, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, sometimes even more dangerous

So if you have too low blood pressure, how will your blood travel? You would definitely feel dizzy and light headed and probably faint.
And if you have too low blood sugar, then it's a chaos too, especially for those who eat mainly carbs.
And if too low cholesterol level, you'll put hormonal system in a huge mess, dry your blood vessels and so on; check hypocholesterolemia.
                              And underweight

I meant they're lying because they kept telling us fat is dangerous for decades, and now suddenly they don't know because of recent developments. But this is my perspective

                                    ASubmitter,

With respect, you seem to prefer speculation and baseless claims rather than evidence. Is this what your Quran teaches you?

NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) is basically a research portal. They have nothing to do with setting dietary guidelines.

Even if you object to evidence from every online source, long living communities around the world are living proof.

You can deny all you want. I'm not interested in unevidenced discussion. Peace out.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

                                      They are not proof.

There are two billion Christians saying "Three", and they have said it for centuries. Does that mean it's the truth? Obviously, larger numbers does not mean "correct" and saying it numerous times will not make it reality. And they have been long living communities globally.

Evidence doesn't necessarily mean truth. They use the Bible as "evidence". Is their evidence the truth? We know the answer. Their evidence is twisted.

And just like what the scientist did in the 70s, his evidence was twisted, as is the current studies that are done incorrectly.
I think you get my point.

                                      Salam
