Should Albion Be BANNED??

Peace everybody,
I have decided to start a thread concerning someone here who goes by the name of albion. Everyone who knows him also know his forte.....to cut - and - paste articles from the internet all the while refusing to debate, answer your questions to him or stick around to degend his ideas or position. His favorite forum is the Latest News/Events forum.
On the one hand, one may think, "Well, just ignore him and don't even pay any attention to him." But my position is not that simple. Let me explain.
It is my belief that his only intention of being here and cutting - and - pasting w/out debate is to flood the forum with these articles in the hopes that a newcomer or an unknowing browser will think that the forum is totally anti-islamic. It may also be his way of putting a bad taste in people's mouths concerning Islam and that is his cowardly way of degrading Islam and creating a dislike or hatred for it through the articles he cut-and-pastes.
Think about it....He absolutely refuses to debate or discuss anything. It is his hope that we ignore him entirely while he cut-and-pastes. That way, when unsuspecting people visit the forum, they will see all of these articles posted by albion with no rebuttal or refutation from us. This way, it may appear that this is the position of the forum which is actually a bad misrepresentation. If newcomers or random browsers click on these threads and see us rebuttal the articles and albion trying to defend his position to no avail, the truth of the matter will become obvious to them.
I'm not going to get long winded on the matter. I say we simply vote as to whether or not he should be banned. I vote YES he should be banned on the grounds that this is a discussion board where we discuss and debate and try to actually learn something, not a cut - and - paste board where we post articles off the internet and then run away without debating or substantiating our views and positions. My vote is that albion be banned. If he's not going to participate according to the forum's rules for existing, then he is merely taking up space and being nothing but a Troll and a Nusaince.
My vote is that albion be banned from here.

As you already know, I'm all for it as well. Any other person who has as much hatred of Islam, wouldn't even bother participating on this board, they'd be more than happy to be among 'friends' at faithfreedom and such. But it's worse with albion, because I wouldn't even call it "participation". Just actively cutting and pasting articles with sarcastic (and unimaginative, might I add) headings attached to them. I wouldn't have minded if they were atleast entertaining or intelligent.
My vote is in.

yeah ban him/her, at least Apple Pie is contributing something to the discussions, even if he ducks all the points hes at least discussing in some manner, albion just posts a bunch of articles and leaves it at that, which is spamming

Ban him again. If he registers under a different identity, he'll just pick up where he left off which will make it easy for us to find out who he is. When we see that it's him again, we just ask administration to ban him again.

I don't know exactly what intent he has, but i suppose one could always add a line telling others that this kind of thing (in the articles) is exactly what is against the God's system and post the relevant verses right back in response, no discussion, just the verses...i think that would make a very strong point to whoever might be reading it...we do need someone willing to do that everytime he posts one though which might be slightly problematic...but i think it's a viable solution rather than banning at this time...

Many of us here (myself included) have done this on numerous occasions. The problem is not simply that he won't debate and defend the nonsense that he cuts and pastes, but that he is spamming and trolling and nothing else!!
As far as I'm concerned, this is the same as stepping on someone's porch, starting a fire and then knock on the door and run away. He presents an image of what we represent here....we get tired of addressing him knowing that he will not respond....and those on the outside looking in won't have a clue about what's going on here. The lack of refutation (because we realize that it's fruitless) will leave outsiders thinking that maybe this is the general consesus here OR that the info he cuts and pastes is irrefutable. Either way, by albion cutting and pasting without dialogue and debate allows him to have his cake and eat it too. He's a troll and it is blatantly obvious that is his sole purpose of being here.

I do agree that the lack of debate means he cannot defend his points of view if his intent is malicious...which is revealing in and of itself...

Actually, some of my friends who don't participate on the board or read much of it, visit the news section occasionally...their points of view are that traditional islam is exposed by such news articles so in a way they reveal a lot of things wrong within the current system which begs the question in all of our minds, why is it happening and is it in sync with what the reading says...these articles are around in the news everywhere and for them to be posted and discussed among ourselves is a good thing, even if the original poster does not participate, for the casual viewer...just by stopping it happening is not viable that way...though i do agree that albion just wants to get any kind of attention but we can turn this to our advantage here...

I think we might be giving him too much credit...he just wants negative attention or any attention for that matter...by thinking of them as random postings that we should talk about (those that want to discuss) we cut him out of the picture and get our point across...two birdies with one stonie...

banning is an important word in the context of discussions forums.From the experience I have in a forum to learn English, trolls are put under permanent moderation their posts have to be revised by a mod before they appear in the open forum. When some posts have to be deleted, a reminder about the rules is sent to him/her.

Something Is Very Wrong Here!!
I've seen the votes in favor of albion to not be banned jump from 1 to 7 very rapidly!! However, the only two people who have commented slightly in favor of albion are Nadia and Elena. Everyone else made a comment as to why they are in favor of banning him. Where are these other voters who seem to be in favor of albion??? Please post a response and let it be known that you vote no and why.....that is IF these votes are all made by different people.
My question to the moderators (Wakas, Marie, Zenje) is there a way to detect if people here are casting more than one vote? Just curious....

It is intentional,sneaky and cowardly to only cut and paste. Your intentions are made quite clear. If you have a stance that you wish to take, make it and be prepared to give a dissertation on you theories or understanding of truth. That is your duty as a believer in what ever. For each of us we are to consider all avenues of knowledge and proofs and decide from what has been presented (as truths or facts). To only set off fires and walk away is a true cowards move. Take credit and explain your motives and be truthful, not a coward! Albion, be productive and not a cancer to this forum. If you have nothing of truth and value to say the it is best to stay silent or get in where you fit in. If not.... I VOTE HE MUST GO!!!!

It seems strange indeed...to clear the confusion, i have NOT voted at all since i have a somewhat neutral stance on this at present, i rather agree with bro Wakas that one thread should be IT for his articles, which is a very good solution...

I know Nadia and I aren't the only two who have noticed this. We all know who's doing this is. This is a blatant disregard for one of the Forum's Rules....not to register under different names.
There have never been so many new registered users in the span of one day in the history o this forum's existence......never!! Believe me, I keep tabs on that. All of a sudden, we get hundreds of new registries out of nowhere. And it so happens to coincide when the birth of this poll and also happens to coincide with all of these anonymous votes in favor of albion. And yet, we see no comments or posts by these so-called voters!!!
I say this is the last straw and albion has pulled one dishonest tactic too many. He must be banned!!

I just went through the memberlist and I checked by joined date and organized it in descending order.
SIX NEW members registered in one day!! And none of them made any posts.
Before today, the most new registered members in one day was four and almost all of them made some sort of post upon their new registry (to add input to a discussion, ask a question or introduce themselves). Yet we have nothing from these new members. I'll bet we have their votes though. x
Initially, there were only 2 votes in favor of albion. I assumed those two votes came from albion and applepie. Then the votes miraculously jumped from 2 to 8 all in one day. There are 6 new members who have all registered in one day. 2 + 6 = 8.....

Damon, one of the trolls aims is to provoke heated replies and make people to waste their time, something s/he is achieving here.I voted no, I find permanent moderation a fairer option because after all, he is dennouncing crimes, just a type of crimes, ok, s/he should dennounce every type, but aren't those type of crimes actually happening? We all should dennounce them, it would be better in amnesty international for instance.

Those who labelled them as victim's of Islam are as ignorant as them.
There is a big difference between dennouncing crimes under Islam or under man made religions, I hope you see my point.
Repeating what is published in the media whithout criticism has no interest.
If Albion seeks the truth about the genuine islam, I think we can have a fruitfull debate.Unfortunately, the intelligence of the heart is not given to everyone.
