Not a Muslim?
-
Salam Phoenix1,
peace Mehdi,My example can be used for a righteous person or a muslim or mumin person.
Not true brother, your example was that of an Atheist and an Atheist is not the same as a Muslim. Here is the example you used
An athiest might actually understand the concept of a higher power better than some believers in god. It's just that the athiest doesn't see it quite the same way. If we observe their actions, we might not be able to tell which is which.
My response remains the same as my last post.
Well, the thing is, you are saying that it is meant for external use. That we are to call ourselves muslims so that others will know our position.
Wrong, I've only said for myself that I am Muslim and my response still remains the same. It appears that you are using your conception of language instead of reading the actual words and meaning thereof. Phoenix1, in all of my postings on this thread I did not say what you or others should call themselves , only that "I" call myself Muslim , and aparently that is a problem for you. In that case then I'm sorry for you. I use the word we in the sense of agreence with you in regards to the state of Islam that we aught to be in that state at all time and be Muslims (something which you yourself brought up). peace
