Muhammad Wrote the quran
-
possibly Khattat
their job is to draw, I knew a few myself but they know how to read for sure
Yes , derived from the verb . And no, not necessarily. A calligrapher can "draw" any language, even hieroglyph, without knowing anything about it, just like my student, who is real BTW.
-
But if one never knew how to read or write a book, and then suddenly one is reading and writing a book and saying it is being revealed from a Higher Authority who taught one how to read and write, then the doubters would not have reason to doubt.
handshakeAnd what was the role of the prophet then vis a vis the documentation of the quraan? Jibrael dictates him, he dictates the writers and God corrects the errors? All this so that he does not learn how to read and write during 23 years of revalation? This should mean that there is something wrong with being literate because the prophet does not want to be literate. He is our example. Does this mean we should not learn how to read or write?
Thank you. This is exactly what I was saying. It just doesn't make sense, go through all the trouble, over the years, and use God as a grammar and spell check tool. nopeTo choose your role model is something, to be commanded/ advised by God to follow the steps of a prophet is something else.
This is important, and I tried to emphasize it - We are talking about the messenger of God here, not just somebody who learnt to sell potatoes in the city market! By all means, kudos to them, for learning a trade for sustenance without having to learn to read and write. We're not talking about a guy who was given a bunch of books to distribute them, by mail or something. We are, however, talking about the messenger of God being given a serious duty that affects all of mankind until the end of time, this is a tremendous obligation. So, sure, God would not allow mistakes on the job, but for the same reason, God would not allow someone, even if to oversee scribes to write it for him, he should have the necessary BASIC skill to read and write. Imagine, if you will, an accounts manager who doesn't know how to use a calculator.Peace

Peace AB,
Fine, but is there any laws tat the messneger should be the one who writes the scriptures?
Not that I know of.we don't even know if Moses wrote the Toarah, do you know?
How about Jesus writng the Injil, do you know if he did?
I don't know, but in both cases I think they were able to read and write.the point is this regardless the prophet learnt how to read and write later in his life or not, the Quran was clear that he never wrote the Quran
I believe the quran is clear that he did write, but thats just me.The history records also confirms that the prophet didn't write the Quran
The history records are not in question here. They also claim he stoned people and was a brutal incompassionate person... but lets not get into that subject here, just an example.see we only have too sources of information
a reliable source (The Quran)
Yes.a corrupt source (The history)
Since this is not a reliable source and I don't follow it, then it is not an option in our discussion.Again, AB, I say thanks for your patience and time you took to explain everything in detail. Even though I am in disagreement with you in this point, I hope you will still treat me as you brother in Islam. On the other hand, If in any of my posts, I have offended you or anyone else, it was not my intenetion and I apologize.
Peace be with you. peace

You just don't want to own to your wrong grammar. That was your argument
that the pronoun should not be there after an indefinite. Can you give any sentence where you do not need the pronoun as you claim?
It makes no difference if the sentence was negative or affirmative.
Why should one be surprised at your wrong grammar if you think such a junk (quoted above) can be allowed as good Arabic!!
I do not agree. I commented on this before on this thread.
Also, because "the kuffar are those who agree that Muhammad could not have written it, but rather he dictated to someone else to write it". You share the kuffar their conjecture, I don't.
Samia I don't have time to waste with you
I have preseneted all the arguments and on top of that there is nothing in the Quran or the History that told us Mohammad write the Quran, this is only a wishful thinking in your mind
-
Thanks everyone for very enlightening discussion. Especially, brother Tanveer, Zenje and sis Samia I really appriciate your mannerism. I have read the whole thread and see you three have really presented your thoughts with "Hikmah" in the best way. God Bless all of you.
With Respect,
Peace all, Hamsa -
Yes , derived from the verb . And no, not necessarily. A calligrapher can "draw" any language, even hieroglyph, without knowing anything about it, just like my student, who is real BTW.
again you are wasting my time with most of your silly arguments
Just continue to believe the conjectures that the prophet wrioe the Quran contrary to what the Quran said, that is your life, on the other hand I will continue to expose the lies of those who say, the Quran said Mohammad wrote the Quran
the clear cut fact in front of everyone "Muslim or not" that the Quran never said that Mohammad wrote the Quran
-
Peace AB,Not that I know of.
Salam mate
good so why the prophet must be the writer of the Quran then?
did the Quran say thatMohammad write the whole Quran with his own hands?
I don't know, but in both cases I think they were able to read and write.
You can think as much as you want, the fact of the matter is clear in the Quran, Mmohammad was Ummi and he never wrote the Quran
I believe the quran is clear that he did write, but thats just me.
yep, it is you of course, the Quran never said as such, it is nothing but wishful thinking, guessing, hoping in your side, the Arabic Quran is clear, if Mohammad write the Quran the Kafirron would have doubted, 2948
The history records are not in question here.
Then tell your pal Tanveer that it was a joke to bring a hadith to support his allegation
They also claim he stoned people and was a brutal incompassionate person... but lets not get into that subject here, just an example.
Yes.I donlt use hadith as evidences, I'm talking History not hadith, can you show me any solid fact from the History that Mohammad wrote A SINGLE SURA FROM THE QURAN?
Since this is not a reliable source and I don't follow it, then it is not an option in our discussion.
Tell those confused then who resort to the hadith as evidences to support their allegations
Again, AB, I say thanks for your patience and time you took to explain everything in detail.
No worries, but you may reply to this argument if you can
You said if I came to you with a book and you told me you didn't write a book before that, then it means Ii write this book
now How Allah can say the same to Mohammad, were they chatting together and Allah wondered that he never write a book before that?
Even though I am in disagreement with you in this point, I hope you will still treat me as you brother in Islam.
why you say that?
On the other hand, If in any of my posts, I have offended you or anyone else, it was not my intenetion and I apologize.
Likewise, thank you
Peace be with you. peace

Hello all
Let?s look at a couple of verses and we should see clearly the only method Mohammad delivered the Quran to the people was ?HIS TONGUE? Not his hands
So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people.
(97)
-> See, ? So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news?, it was not made easy on his hands so he can write it, or what do you think?
So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful.
(5
-> See again, it was made easy on the prophet tongue ? So have We made it easy in your tongue?
Now why the tongue?, because that is what he used to deliver it to the people and the scribes who wrote it
Now I keep asking those wishful thinkers, where is the verse in the Quran that Allah said, the Quran was made easy on Mohammad?s hands so he can write it?
-
ahmed - what's the difference between the hadith and any other transmitted history?
others - you can't use the "he was a merchant" argument which comes from history and ahadith. that is unless you can provide some evidence from this quran that proves this to be true. otherwise you are just contradicting yourselves. submission.org and 19.org like to use history when it benefits them and discard it when it does not.
everyone - isn't it important who inspired it, rather than who wrote it down, anyways?
also notice that you will not find a verse that directly relates moses to the word twr~ which you are all translating (incorrectly i might add) as torah. torah is a hebrew word, try an english word if you want to get the message across to english speakers.
(but we don't expect them to understand the ignition and the quickening anyways... only the thoughtful among them shall grasp the precept... challenge them to bring a structure akin to this - but they cannot, no matter how hard they try)
woe unto us for we follow the impulse and not the core, our exposed selves are ever ungrateful
-
ahmed - what's the difference between the hadith and any other transmitted history?
They are both the same, conjectures, conjectures however can be true or false
everyone - isn't it important who inspired it, rather than who wrote it down, anyways?
Well, the quran is not an inspiration the Quran is a revelation, and it is the reaveled words of Allah
-
peace AB,
Well, the quran is not an inspiration the Quran is a revelation, and it is the reaveled words of Allah
Why did Allah choose to deliver His almighty words by writing a book? A book!? Why? I mean, there are so many other, better, cooler ways of revealing things, why a book? and why arabic? why did God preserve the quran and not the other scriptures that were supposedly revealed before it? Why don't we have any such scriptures from East Asia? or North America? I apologize for any offensive terms I may have used, so please answer my questions and don't "dismiss" me.
oh, and everyone, I would I did post something on this thread.
-
Why did Allah choose to deliver His almighty words by writing a book?
God is the most wise, he knows that which we do not know.
A book!? Why? I mean, there are so many other, better, cooler ways of revealing things, why a book?
Would you prefer it if you had to send away for a dvd?
and why arabic?
God is the most wise, he knows that which we do not know.
why did God preserve the quran and not the other scriptures that were supposedly revealed before it?
God is the most wise, he knows that which we do not know.
Why don't we have any such scriptures from East Asia? or North America?
These are only my personal thoughts But I don't think it's any coincidence that the Scriptures we have today we delivered here and it's also the same place civilization started.
Also while we're on the point, how do you know that sections of the scriptures of other religions weren't revealed/inspired by God?
I apologize for any offensive terms I may have used, so please answer my questions and don't "dismiss" me.
I hope I have been able to answer your questions
-
peace AB,Why did Allah choose to deliver His almighty words by writing a book?
Salam waleed
because Allah wants so
A book!?
Yes
Why?
Because He wants so
what do you think is better than a book?, a video or a DVD?
I mean, there are so many other, better, cooler ways of revealing things,
How about some photos?
why a book?
That is the third time you asked this question, well here is the answer again, because Allah wants so
and why arabic?
same as before, becaise Allah wants so
have you asked yourself why he sent other scriptures in other languages but Arabic?
why did God preserve the quran and not the other scriptures that were supposedly revealed before it?
sounds like I'm talking to a member on FFI, well I advice you not to hang there too much if it is easy to manipulate you
now let me aswer your question, why Allah didn't preserve other scriptures but the Quran
well, I don't talk for Allah, on the other hand I can guess that it is because the Quran was the last scripture before the game is over
Why don't we have any such scriptures from East Asia? or North America?
how about you try to find one in there and follow it?
I apologize for any offensive terms I may have used,
No offence but why you think I talk on God's behalf?
so please answer my questions and don't "dismiss" me.
well i dismissed ya because you called Mohammad "Mo" exactly as the kafirs bound to hell on FFI do every day, don't tell me you are nick naming him, the word Mo was chosen by those kafirs bound to hell because it is the sound of a cow
shame on you waleed
-
Would you prefer it if you had to send away for a dvd?
Lol bro
I said the exact same without reading your comment
what a coincidence
-
yeah
-
peace everyone
Al Quraishi,God is the most wise, he knows that which we do not know.
That's not an answer. That's an excuse.
Would you prefer it if you had to send away for a dvd?
Probably. With all the problems we're having understanding this book, anything would be better. But if God wants to say in the 7th century, fine with me.
Ahmed,
because Allah wants so
that too is an excuse to believe whatever you want. If you don't have an answer, just say that you don't. Don't give me this bull crap about what God wants and what God doesn't want.
sounds like I'm talking to a member on FFI, well I advice you not to hang there too much if it is easy to manipulate you
now let me aswer your question, why Allah didn't preserve other scriptures but the Quran
well, I don't talk for Allah, on the other hand I can guess that it is because the Quran was the last scripture before the game is over
I don't visit that site anymore. And what you said above isn't conjecture? how is it not? You have no proof, an no real answers to my questions.
