      3337 (In personal matters you may respectfully disagree with
      Muhammad in the capacity of a human being 379. As an example)
      Recall that you did tell the one to whom God had blessed and you had
      blessed, Hold on to your wife and be mindful of God. You seek to
      conceal within yourself what God intends to reveal. You fear people
      whereas it is more appropriate to fear God. But when he had observed
      all the rules and divorced her, We gave her to one of you in marriage, so
      that henceforth there may be no blame on the believers in respect of
      spouses of their adopted children when they have come to the
      dissolution of their union. The commandment of God must be fulfilled.

        Thanks Yasin.

        That was the reason why I suspect it to be a proper name. Much more important personalities were not mentioned by name in the qur'aan.

        So it is John Doe not John Smith? Maybe John Smith is the UK Zaid ;D

          you are referring a person who cannot who translates the aya of
          -wash the feet as "rub the feet".
          Such persons can be a standarf for you or Samia not for me at least.
          Quote some literate authority please.

          Prove that Zayd Bin Harith did not exist at all.

              Zayd ibn Harithah
              From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
              Jump to navigation, search
              Zayd ibn Harithah (Zayd ibn Muhammad or Zaid mawla Muhammad) (c. 578-627 CE) was a prominent figure in the early Islamic community and the only one of sahaba whose name is spelled directly in Quran. As an adopted son of Muhammad, he was an early convert to Islam and later, a military leader. He died c. 627 CE at the Battle of Mu'tah.

              So Quranists have taken a new Turn that
              -Quran is grammatically wrong
              -Any person who is mentioned in the Quran did not exist at all
              Is this not tampering of the Quran ???

              1781
              (1781) And declare, "The Truth has come and falsehood has vanished for falsehood is a thing that must by its nature vanish.

                    It not we who are saying Zaid did not exist.
                    It the Quranist progeny which is claiming so .

                      "Zaid" is an imaginary name to "anybody". The verse is applied to anyone, not necessarily those named "Zaid". Otherwise, we make the verse very specific.

                      Arabs say 3amr, Zaid for individuals, when giving examples, as in Daaraba zaidun 3amra example for subject and direct object; or Zaid and 3ubaid for a group as in I do not care for zaid or 3ubaid I care for no one.

                      peace

                      Samia is right zaid and baker is use in urdu also when giving example.

                      peace

                            Come on guys! what is wrong with accepting Zaid as prophet Mohammad's(pbuh) son? If God did not want to take his name, could he not use the term, " When his adopted son was through with,,,,"

                            If the name is there in Quran, and it is being confirmed/verified through history as well , why are we insisting upon this being fictitious? and provide a chance to a very rational person (leoxyz) to be skeptical ?

                                Please anyone from Quranic source which is fully detailed.
                                I think you have just exposed the quranists. IF quran is fully detailed as falsely claimed by quranists then where is the biography of Zaid in quran??? {RasulHamza}

                                Quote from RasulHamsa on August 29, 2007, 060459 PM
                                He was a messenger not a cook! please don't ask such question we have no answer for!
                                Dear
                                Deen = Quran + Sunna

                                To destroy sunna = Mock the Prophet + Reject his teachings

                                To Eliminate the Quran = Tamper its meanings so simple modus operandi{Leoxyz}

                                Neither the Grand Quran is inexplicit nor Deen is equivalent to the sum total of Quran +Sunna {here it is meant what is stated by a number of non Arab historians/collections of hearsays etc}. Quran has defined Deen as Millat Ibrahim, which the Last Messenger was advised to follow. The "Sunna" of the Last Messenger is the one recorded in Quran.

                                The Grand Quran {not the hadith quoted by someone} has unambiguously stated that Sydena Zaid was the adopted son {a son not born of him but known as son since by the utterance of his mouth he called him as his son}

                                ?And We have not made whom you call with your tongues sons as your sons? {Refer 33{04}

                                The purpose of instructions to the Last Messenger to marry the divorced wife of Syedena Zahid whom he called as son has been explained in the verse

                                It has been the practice in time and space to adopt sons of others as sons. The Aziz of Misr had also told her wife about Yousaf alaihis Salam that we will make him our son. And then an incident has been quoted to bring home that calling the sons of others as your sons and placing them at home runs the risk/possibility of insult to the sanctity of relationships.

                                This time honoured practice could have been halted in the newly emerging muslim society only by the action of the Last Messenger.
                                Let us thank to Allah for this blessing and act of kindness.

                                  The whole point that we're trying to make here, is that the DETAILS are not necessary!! That is what ties the message down and makes it RIGID! If it was important, God would have made it clear and unambiguous.
