    Peace,

    I did not know where to post this...It is written by Mafkhir ([email protected])

    The Owners-
    ?malaika?

    In truth, the Owners existed before the first ever humanoid was created and the sad-one was an Owner. He was the Owner of guidance and happiness. He refused, and then protested to God claiming that he was created from energy while Adam was created from a sticky-substance. Since he believed energy is better than clay (wrong definition, of course!), he argued his case before God. God, of course, refused his reason and banished him from his position as the Owner of guidance and happiness. Since that time, Adam and most intelligent entities fail to be happy and follow guidance. This is the cause of our sins and miseries- the rebellious-one/sad-one. After ceasing to become the Owner of guidance and happiness, he became the destroyer of guidance and happiness- his primary job and purpose in life.

    This true story shows that Adam?s self was tempted into sin and misery by the sad-one while living in a dimension that had many fruits and sustenance. Adam did not know that an unpropitious source of temptation would lead him to fall from his dimension into a limited land, since he believed that it would give him more power and knowledge! The exact details of his sin is unknown, but he committed a sin by investigating this source of temptation and this lead him to lose some of his innate, good qualities. This was his sin. When he lost some of these innate, good qualities in himself by investigating the unpropitious power and knowledge source, he asked for forgiveness and God did forgive him. There were other people who sinned with him and they all lost their innate, good qualities in themselves.

    The Owners are responsible for the maintenance of the universe. They do this partly by invisible matter, and partly by another advanced science. This means they create, regulate and calculate all celestial bodies and what is in between them. In fact, they are doing ?everything? that happens in our universe! They influence our actions and qualities. They are arranged in very specific roles. There are specific Owners for controlling specific parts of the universe and life-forms.

    Owners of death takes the self of an entity after it decides the physical body will no longer be sustainable.

    Owner of Hell malik, who observes the inhabitants of hell.

    19 Owners of Hell observes the inhabitants of hell (this may include malik, or may not).

    8 Owners of the future universe they will calculate and sustain the universe in a future time.

    2 Owners of knowledge haroot and maroot, who give knowledge to entities when commanded.

    Owners of strength give strength to entities whenever commanded.

    Owners of patience.

    Owners of courage.

    Owners of fear gives fear to entities when commanded.

    Owners of pleasure and happiness.

    Owners of intelligence and guidance gives intelligence to entities when commanded.

    Owners of compassion give compassion to entities when commanded.

    Owners of anger and hatred.

    Owners of life gives life to entities when commanded.

      OP,
      I've also have a similar hypothesis just recently formed. I think "angels" are simply emotions OR feelings. For example, satan represents the emotion "anger" and induces arrogance.

      I am still trying to arrive at a good model of what a angels are. Any quranic evidence which can refute or support such a concept would be appreciated.

        Salaam Layth,
        Either I dont understand this story at all, or this story is giving too much power to "the Owners", making them God or God-like? ?

        Yeah! near to Hindu's philosphy.

        YAAM RAAJ, God of death,
        LAKSHAMI DEVI, Hindu Goddess Who Governs All form of Wealth and Success and the Paths, Means and Results of all forms of Prosperity and interestingly she has 108 names.
        and many others working for the creator Brahama but owners in their own.

          How will you understand the following aayaats?

          230
          230 And your Lord said to the angels I am placing a successor on the earth. They said Will You place in it he who would make corruption in it, and spill blood; while we praise by Your glory, and exalt to You? He said I know what you do not know.

          1795
          1795 Say If the earth had angels walking about in security, We would have sent down to them from the heaven an angel as a messenger.

          4360
          4360 And if We willed, We could have made some of you angels to be successors on the earth.

          7431
          7431 And We have made the guardians of the Fire to be angels; and We did not make their number except as a test for those who have rejected, so that those who were given the Book would understand, and those who have faith would be increased in faith, and so that those who have been given the Book and the believers do not have doubt, and so that those who have a sickness in their hearts and the rejecters would say What did Allah mean with an example such as this? It is such that Allah misguides whom He wishes, and He guides whom He wishes. And none know the soldiers of your Lord except He; and it is but a reminder for human beings.

            You made good points with the verses. but
            why malaika are translated Angels ? who decided that they're angels of the bible and greec mythologie? why did our lord call them Malaika and Malak , closer to the word Mulk and Malik ?

            someone translated the word controlers, I believe it was Layth or Aymen, I use to like this translation , because it is closer to logic, but , than I now believe 100% that Malaika = Communicators , Malak = Kalam ( in another dimension ) not a voice with sound word , but the meaning of the word is the Malak if it is a word from the Lord.

            Malaiqua = communicators
            Malak = Kalam meanings

            exemple , a word from the lord Imane gives the word, Amana, Amanna, Mouminoun, Aminou , Amana , AAmin .... one word gives you a variety of good words.

              It does not mean that what ever others believe is wrong in total and we have to create a new meaning for each and every word and change all the stories.

              someone translated the word controlers, I believe it was Layth or Aymen, I use to like this translation , because it is closer to logic,

              I translated 'Malak' as 'King' already in another thread which is very close the above translation, please take a look http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9602167.msg277408#msg277408

              Now you have to show me how did you extract those meanings? The meaning of 'Malak' that you made above is something similar that I believe is the meaning of wahi.

                Peace all,

                From my understanding, malaika refers to "the laws of nature" like Gravity, Causality, Nuclear force, Procreation... and many other laws or forces of which we are still unaware.

                These laws are always doing what they are supposed to do. They were created by the god the creator and are following his orders tothe lettre, and would never do otherwise.

                Now, they were told to submit to Adam (humans) only after when Adam was taught the names of things, after he was able to differentiate between things and created language and concepts. Adam was then able to use these forces or laws for his benefit, and thus human civilizations flourished all around the earth.

                As an example, the force of gravity is harnessed and used in water dams to drive turbines to produce electricity.

                  How will reply to the above reply # 5 about malaika?

                  And where did you get the idea of Adam being humans from? Adam is singular not plural.

                          Anyone of us can be considered as an "Adam", especially considering the development of our intelectual abilities from complete ignorance and a state of hapiness when children in this big garden Earth, then we accumulate knowledge about our environment for sometime, then we face tests during our adult life... In many ways, we are similar to Adam.

                            Baraqa = Qaraba
                            Baqara = Raqaba
                            Balagha = Ghalaba

                            Just to quote the few and like to your understanding.

                              Salaam Someone,

                              Peace mmkhan,

                              Anyone of us can be considered as an "Adam", especially considering the development of our intelectual abilities from complete ignorance and a state of hapiness when children in this big garden Earth, then we accumulate knowledge about our environment for sometime, then we face tests during our adult life... In many ways, we are similar to Adam.

                              Peace

                              Can you please quote me some of the aayaats from which you extract the meaning of Adam?

                              "this big garden Earth" it is called "Duniya" a derivative of "Adna" in Arabic.

                                peace mmkhan,

                                And where did you get the idea of Adam being humans from? Adam is singular not plural.

                                What do you make of

                                And We created you (plural), then We shaped you (plural), then We said to the Angels "Submit to Adam;" so they submitted except for Iblees, he was not of those who submitted.

                                All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

                                  Peace

                                  I have few doubts on using 711 to cite Adam being plural.

                                  In 711 ?Thumma? can be ?then? as well as ?and? so the creating, fashioning and prostrating to Adam does not have to be in a sequence to mean that it was to Adam that the early part of the verse is referring to. Also, does khalaqnakum (creation) and sawwarnakum ( fashioning) have to be two independent actions from each other or these actions can be related and simultaneous ?

                                  Moreover, in the next verse 712 Adam is referred to in singular (him) twice.

                                    peace warner,

                                    I dont mind your hypothesis, but as I requested Mazhar in a previous thread, what is the evidence for it. Ideally, several, or at least one, Quranic reference where a seemingly sequential verse is not so.

                                    Also, in my view, I have no problem with "adam" being addressed in the singular and the plural, as he is both individual and collective simultaneously, as I have discussed previously.

                                      Salaam Wakas,

                                      peace mmkhan,

                                      What do you make of

                                      To me 711 is addressing to us all initially then referring to Adam as singular. You can also look at 7172 and 237-38.

                                      7172

                                        mmkhan, the point you are makin might be supported also by this "dual". Personal names like "Adam" represent and refer to ONLY one person.
