NO offense i think you are still stuck between choosing true-islam and the practices of Sunnis and Shia. I only have a Muslim friend who helps and supports me (Sunni Muslim). It's incredibly lonely. The other Muslim my friends have left me. It is difficult to practice Islam when I have so few Muslim friends, but I try as best I can. Crying just thinking about this. The only thing that helps the sadness is to listen to the Quran. I am afraid that I shall be apostate Muslim eventually if nobody supports me. Selam Jafar, A question and that is why would God bother telling us about dress code anyway? People all over the world already are dressing according to their customs...so it's nothing new. Why are there verses in the Quran, according to you that tell us dress as you would normally dress in the environment in which you are living? The RUH in us is the Creative Progressive Guide, the Invisible Kithab. What we read as Quran only testifies that which is in us as His RUH or Al Kithab. In other words conscience is the direct guidance from God. Whoever follows it, he is on the Straight Path. No body can show your conscience if you fail to see yourself. If you do not see your conscience, you are unconscious already or in semi-coma. And whoever says he can show you the Book, he himself is confused. Old thread but I couldn't agree more. The Source of Knowledge knows what will happen on that day. Some details are revealed in Quran though you must take that with a grain of salt since you are reading someone else interpretation of the text. Religion is a trap. It gives the illusion of righteousness. They BELIEVE they are on the right path and serve the Rabb. Fact is, they do not even know the Rabb, The Source Of Knowledge, Teacher and Creator AKA Allah. Atheism is a different side of the same coin. They too do not know the Rabb. They BELIEVE there is no Creator. They are all unaware of themselves. After some research, looks like I must agree if Allah can be translate into God in english. The reason is According to lafadz mudzakar (masculine) rules, the word "Allah" actually male in gender and it's feminine form is "Allata" ( &#1578 and appeared in verse 5319. So that's why in english language using the word "Him" as pronoun of "Allah". But I still confused because the definitif form of ilah is Al-Ilah not Allah, because it has no rule in Arabic grammar.I'm not expert in Arabic grammar, so anyone can help me?? Peace

Bit of my understanding below Requirement for Slaa you need ; Before Slaa a.) wadu / purification of bodily side b.) Clear mind free from all sorts of intoxicant so that you know what you are saying. a.) Peace, It might sound odd, but try to adopt an attitude of peace and acceptance to the voices n jinns and whatever disturbing elements there are in your mind and senses. Try to rise above the fear. Try to accept the horrible voices as you accept your own desk. It's there, it's nothing to be afraid of, you don't need to run away from it, you acknowledge it but you don't react to it and you don't play it's games. Rise above. See it and accept it, but in peace. Fear not. Don't run away from it. When the voices come, just observe them in a neutral peace, and don't act on what they say and don't run away either. Some verses Determining mutual attraction/compatibility Ascertaining whether the potential partner is of similar beliefs/faith Discussion of and agreeing to the level of dower and other terms (if any) Understanding and mutual acceptance of marriage as a solemn/strong oath/contract If male, capable of providing for the family/household To have physically matured / post-puberty If the marriage is unsuccessful, one should also be capable of undertaking divorce proceedings, e.g. separation period, arbitration, discussion of settlement etc .

peace, I think Quran advocates for the mumineen, a minimum of two daily regular/timed salat/bond. At the time, or shortly after the prophet's death, there likely was variance in practice, not only in the method but also the number. The Quran never strictly formalised it. Thus, with all this variance, there was likely a push by later leaders and religious scholars towards orthodoxy, to make this practice more formalised, uniform etc hence the fixing of five. The more I have studied Quran the more I have realised this. What I guess I'd also add here to what I already included before is that the most important thing seems to be to know our relationship with God. To seek to further that relationship and follow the moral compass God has blessed us all with. So all the concerns over rituals in hadith etc go against the essence of the Quran. God cares that we are just, decent, show compassion to all living things not just human being etc, and these are things He has already imbued in us, as well as the ability to choose between right and wrong. Maybe that is why the punishments in the past were that way, because the message of morality - not rituals - was already so clear and so straightforwardly put for people both within themselves and from a Messenger among them.
