    Thank you for your comment.
I respect your understanding; however, I believe God has asked the believers to visit the Sacred Mosque that is located in Baka. Moreover, I believe Baka is located in the Old City (Jerusalem).

Thank you again and God Bless.

    General Issues / Questions

  • Help please to understand such incidents
    B belH

    Salam all,
It has been a while since I participated in this site but could not help myself to share with you my comments.

Sometime we can not understand the wisdom behind many incidents simply because our knowledge is Very Limited compare to God's and will always stay that way....Therefore, we need to learn when to quit trying to figure out the reason behind some incidents. Here an example of an example from Quran that teaches us how limited we are when it comes to knowing the FUTURE.

1866 Moses said to him "Can I follow you so that you will teach me from the guidance you have been taught?"
1867 He said "You will not be able to have patience with me."
1868 "And how can you be patient about that which you have not been given any news?"

1874 So they ventured forth until they came upon a youth, and he killed him. He said "Have you killed an innocent person without justice? You have done something awful!"
1875 He said "Did I not tell you that you will not be able to have patience with me?"
1876 He said "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me in your company. You will then have a reason over me."

1880 "And as for the youth, his parents were believers, so we were concerned that he would oppress them by his transgression and disbelief."
1881 "So we wanted their Lord to replace for them with one who is better than him in purity and closer to mercy."

  • What is the Sin that God does not Forgive?
    B belH

    Peace belH.

As for him who opposes the messenger, after the guidance has been pointed out to him, and follows other than the believers' way, we will direct him in the direction he has chosen, and commit him to Hell; what a miserable destiny!

What is the punishment for opposing the messenger?

However if one repents before death, all sins can be forgiven!.

    Peace.

    Peace Brother,

Sorry, I'm about to go out for dinner; however, I would love to discuss this further later.
But please understand these are two different Sins. The Killing's punishment is death, but disbleving is not and has no punishment in life (unless we believe the Suna and say it is death ).
We can find many verses in the quran about repenting when one disblieves, but non about repenting from killing a believer.
    Peace

  • What is the Sin that God does not Forgive?
    B belH

    Peace belH.

Please look at the context. Verses 4 90 to 115 are dealing with rules of war, friendship...Then God goes on to say
    [4116[
God does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death),* and He forgives lesser offences for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside God has strayed far astray.

    Otherwise you might as well take [ 4115}

As for him who opposes the messenger, after the guidance has been pointed out to him, and follows other than the believers' way, we will direct him in the direction he has chosen, and commit him to Hell; what a miserable destiny!

Then say this is also an unforgivable sin?

All sins can be forgiven,if one sincerely repents before death.

    Peace.

    Peace,
Help me out here...see the verse 92 below

    492

And it is not for a believer to kill another believer except by accident. And whoever kills a believer by accident, then he shall free a believing slave, and give compensation to the family; except if they remit it. If he was from a people who are enemies to you, and he was a believer, then you shall free a believing slave. And if he was from a people with whom you have a covenant, then a compensation to his family, and free a believing slave. Whoever does not find, then the fasting of two months sequentially as a repentance from God; for God is Knowledgeable, Wise.

    492

    Then see the verse after

    493

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, then his recompense shall be Hell, abiding therein, and God will be angry with him, and curse him, and for him is prepared a great retribution.

    493

What is the punishment for killing a believer intentionally?

    Peace all,
Thank you all for your responses.
My understanding is all sins can be forgiven if we repent (before death) except the following Sin

    493

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, then his recompense shall be Hell, abiding therein, and God will be angry with him, and curse him, and for him is prepared a great retribution.

    Salam Bender,

Before you get your question you will need to satisfy mine )

The answer I was looking for is not Dhul Qarnain. It is another man, mentioned in the Quran, whom God said He would leave him as a sign for mankind.

    Peace,

    Pharaoh?

1090 And We helped the Children of Israel cross the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers followed them out of hatred and animosity. But when he was certain to drown, he said "I believe that there is no god except the One in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who have submitted."
1091 "Now you say this? While before you disobeyed and were of the corrupters!"
1092 "This day, We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign for those after you." But most of the people are unaware of Our signs!

Hey guys! Been gone for awhile, but back. Missed you all )

I love the comment about if it is a tradition from a non-muslim country.... WTH.

No offense to anyone, but I have seen some Egyptian traditions that make my head spin. So if a Muslim country has Mother's day like Egypt then it is okay? but not in a western culture.. ..lol

I hate how ppl think Islam is crawling under a rock. But nice topics, I am enjoying and wonder how did I ever manage being a sunni??? I guess when you convert it takes awile to get your feet wet.

Welcome back...I was away myself for a while busy with Egyptian Sunis who were trying to hijack the country.

Being arround free-minds is fun but I strongly believe we all need to be out there debating in the Suni forums so we can expose them to their readers.

    Peace

There are tons of them in the website mentioned below. When debating with them, try not to show that you are against all the hadiths; otherwise they will kick you out. Use the logic when debating.

  • Translation need urgently! Sura 7:157-158
    B belH

    Peace all,

I'm a moslem and believe that the Quran, Torah and Injeel are the Books of Allah and are protected equally by God.
Moreover, I believe that God only protected the Books in their original languages (Arabic, Aramaic and Hebrew), and not the translations. No one can deny that the Quran has been translated to different languages and most, if not all, are corrupted. The same with the Torah and Injeel.

    General Issues / Questions

  • Why did Allah create life?
    B belH

    Peace all,
I enjoyed reading all the posts in this topic. Indeed none can fully understand the reason beyond our creation; however, the Quran gives us some clues...Here is another one

11118 And if your Lord had wished, He could have made all the people one nation, but they still would have continued to disagree.

    11118

11119 Except whom your Lord has mercy upon; and for that He has created them. And the word of your Lord came true "I will fill Hell with the Jinn and the people together!"

    11119

The bolded word translates as follow And That Is Why I Created Them (the humans).

This verse tells us that the reason (or one of the reasons) Allah created us is to choose from among the humans the ones who, by following their free-will, chose to submit to their one and only lord.

    Peace

  • Who made the Kabba???
    B belH

and no i believe they were muslims since they submited theirselves to Allah.being jewish is following rabbis and their evil Talmud.

Thank you. If they were hanifs, why they did not answer Abraham call to make hajj...Non of them have visited Macca, rather, all of them ignored Macca and made hajj to Jerusalem.

Brother, this was the turning point for me after it was mentioned to me by one of the members. There is no trace of any prophet that have visited Macca...Even Prophet Mohamed has no trace there.
