Peace, We did not send before you except men whom we inspired. Ask those who know the scripture, if you do not know.1643 God chooses messengers from angels and from men for God is He Who hears and sees (all things).2275 These two verse are talking about men prophet........ Is there any misconception? Well, 22/75 doesn't say men, it says mankind. As for 16/43, it does indeed say rijal, but there are instances in the quran where rijal would reasonably include women, e.g. 24/37.

I always go to the Mosque to pray. Also during our Haliqa (teachings/sermon) we sit right next to the men, no one says anything. We have the right to pray and learn. I don't usually go to the talks anymore because it is 90% hadith and 10% Qur'an, but it is still interesting.

if i hurt someone, then i need to make things right with that person seeking forgiveness and making amends. and if that is not possible, then i turn to God saying listen, i cannot make things right with the person who i hurt but please forgive me for what i had done. God knows we are not perfect. we make mistakes - some major ones. i can't go back in time and erase the past. the past is the past. you live and you learn, growing as a person becoming a better human being. i can't live the rest of my life feeling awful and guilty for my past mistakes. it will hold me back from growing spiritually. you have to forgive yourself. it is only in the life hereafter that we will all know if God has forgiven us. hopefully, we will have earned God's forgiveness. each and every day, you ask God for forgiveness and try to be good to yourself and others.

Peace raging, That as a beautiful dialogue. I was just using the Amazonians as an example (shouldve chose my words more carefully), but I am aware of such things in other religions. What I am not sure about is how, while many religions do believe in Allah, they commit shirk (saints, clergyman, etc.). The Meccan's believed in Allah but did so by committing shirk and those that continued such practices till death are doomed. The Quran gives descriptions of how people commit shirk. Types of idols Statues of gods Surah 251, 2151-53 Other gods Surah 4117 'Chosen races' Surah 6100 Children Surah 7190 Prophets Surah 379, 572, 7194, 1018, 1620-21, 18102 Ego Surah 1422, 2543, 4523 Property Surah 1832-44 Upholding religious sources other than the Word of Allah Surah 548-50, 619, 73 Religious leaders and scholars Surah 931 Creating sects in religion Surah 3031-32 Dividing believers and providing comfort to those who oppose God and His messengers Surah 9107 Idolators follow conjecture Surah 6148 Idolators deny idol worship, now and on the Day of Judgment Surah 622-24 When I asked about Aad and Thamud I was referring to those that had lived in those areas prior to their messenger. "And to Ad their brother Hood; he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other than He; you are but forgers." Surah 1150 "They said, 'Hood, thou hast not brought us a clear sign, and we will not leave our gods for what thou sayest; we do not believe thee." Surah 1153 "And remember the brother of Ad, when he warned his people beside the sand-dunes -- and already warners had passed away alike before him and behind him -- saying, 'Serve none but God! Truly I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day." Surah 4621 "They said, 'Salih, thou hast hitherto been a source of hope among us. What, dost thou forbid us to serve that our fathers served? Truly we are in doubt, concerning what thou callest us to, disquieting.'" Surah 1162 "So fear you God, and obey you me; and obey not the commandment of the prodigal who do corruption in the earth, and set not things aright.'" Surah 26150-152 "And We sent to Thamood their brother Salih 'Serve you God!' And behold, they were two parties, that were disputing one with another. He said, 'O my people, why do you seek to hasten evil before good? Why do you not ask forgiveness of God? Haply so you will find mercy.'" Surah 2745-46 "Now in the city there were nine persons who did corruption in the land, and put not things right; they said, 'Swear you, one to another, by God, "We will attack him and his family by night, then we will tell his protector, We were not witnesses of the destruction of his family; and assuredly we are truthful men."' And they devised a device, and We likewise devised a device, while they were not aware; and behold, how was the end of their device! For We destroyed them and their people all together." Surah 2748-51 "As for Thamood, We guided them, but they preferred blindness above guidance, so the thunderbolt of the chastisement of humiliation seized them for that they were earning." Surah 4117 There's more descriptions given of Ad and Thamud's transgressions in the Quran. There is a linear description given of the people, their cities, and the Messengers sent to the nations within Nabatea - Arabia Petraea - and its surrounding area. All nations have heard Allah's Message. All nations were sent a warner. Open your Quran read. Peace.

I think it is important to note that in the end God is the only one who will dish out this punishment. So if you really believe that people who reject Sunnah will bring forth the wrath of God, well that is between God and them isn't it. Definitely, Sometime the sectarian people are so 'proud' that they think they're the only one who received God's blessing, and those who disagree with them or those who is not within their sect shall earned God's wrath. Even more, some of them goes even further to think that they're God themselves. As for me I pray that God enlightened them with His wisdom and understanding.. He guide whom He wishes yet He doesn't guide those who are wicked and proud. Salam / Peace

Peace be upon you unbeliever Fulma.. Nope there are no restriction to make, watch or enjoy 'graven images of any living things' in the Quran... It's originating from the old testament, which then the "Judeo-Arabic" people incorporated into their religion... As thus many of the "Judeo-Arabic" priest / ulema today forbid their followers to make, watch or enjoy 'graven images of any living things'.. And as the punishment for those who do.. well they copied and paste it from the old testament too.. Yup you guessed it right.. it's the good ol' stoning to death.. The infamously classical judaeic style of death punishment.. .. Salam / Peace

Hi thank you for you inputs.. but I think I wasn't able to clarify my point in a simple terms.. My question is why Zina (adultery) is a crime? if it is Adultery! Since The Quran states that the Adulterous will marry only Adulterous..! ( with this understanding) Does that mean after finding out about an unrelated couple having an Adulterous relationship ( how?), and after they receive the public corporal punishment, will then they get married to each other? wouldn't that destroy both people lives including those who depends on them.. the whole families ??? I don't understand the wisdom behind this..! @ Mushu A person who finds out their spouse is unfaithful would not appreciate this fact being made public to the entire community. Imagine going to school the next day after your mother/father had been publicly lashed for getting caught sleeping around. What family could survive the humiliation? indeed you're right in pointing out this.. I also would imagine that people will say .. this might be a good deterrent. I don't think so..since in Saudi Arabia they still cutting hands off, and in the US capital punishment is still ON , and life imprisonment doesn't deter people from committing Crimes .. Sometimes I feel like we're trying to fit squares into circles .. Or like the French say .. looking for noon at 200 PM..! Quran only, means to me that we got to get totally out of what it has always been accepted as truth ( because this is what our forefathers did, or this is what the majority did ) .. Zina cannot be logically speaking to mean fornication..it doesn't add up.. and it doesn't make sense.. Quran way of life has to be applicable anywhere and timeless, in this day an age.. just picture this Adultery punishment.. Best regards

Dear AbdAlRahman, 1099 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you then compel mankind, until they become believers? It seems that GOD, SWT, Himself is not willing to guide you, and I believe it is because, you are not a GOD ALONE worshiper. you call Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, alongside with ALLAAH, SWT, in your SHAHAADAH, in your ADZAN, in your SALAAT, have made ?pilgrimage? of his grave as part of HAJJ pilgrimage and calling his mosque as one of the TWO!!! SACRED mosques alongside with ALMASJIDULHARAAM in Mecca, and also, calling upon him to be your ?SHAFEE?/intercessor? between you and GOD, SWT, at Judgment day. Let me draw your attention to a few verses from The Qur?aan. 3531 What We have revealed to you of the book, is the truth from your Lord, confirming what was revealed before it. Verily! ALLAAH is All Aware, and All Seer of His slaves. 3532 Afterwards, We gave the Book as inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose. Of them are some who wrong themselves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by ALLAA?S Leave, foremost in good deeds. That is indeed a great favor. The first verse informs us that The Qur?aan is The Only Authority, even over the books that were revealed before it. The second verse informs us that we did not inherit but The Qur?aan Alone for our guidance. YOU SHALL NOT IDOLIZE Prophet MUHAMMAD, pbuh. There are only two verses in The Qur?aan that describe the prophet Muhammad as "no more than a human being like you.? Now, do you think IT IS COINCIDENCE THAT BOTH VERSES FORBID IDOLATRY AT THE END OF EACH VERSE? 18110 Say, verily, I am only a human being like you. It has been revealed to me that your God is ONE GOD. Thus, anyone who looks forward to meeting his Lord shall lead a righteous life, and NEVER SET UP ANY IDOLS beside his Lord. 416 Say, verily, I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is One God, therefore take Straight Path to Him and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to the polytheists. Peace, Khalil

Salam and Peace on you! The two Eids, "Eid-ul-Fitr" and "Eid-ul-Adha" are not mentioned and ordered in Allah's Exalted Quran. So, Allah didn't command us to celebrate Eids. It is indeed, the clergies of the ummah who issued this commandment, and the whole of the ummah (more than 99.99%), whom the religious scholars have made their slaves, follow them and celebrate Eids. Eids are not Allah's Commandments. So, it is nothing but a wastage of money. It is nothing but becoming extravagant. The ummah spends billions of dollars on vanity, when at the same time there are, in this ummah, and around the world, poor, who are without food, shelter and medicine. Those poor, they and their children, crying and dying in deprivation, but the unjust rich of the ummah celebrating Eids, which is not a commandment in Al-Quran. Not in words, but with their actions the cruel rich are answering the poor, "We don't care if you and your children are without food, shelter and medicine, and dying,---for us Eid is more important than your basic necessities.---We will let you die in deprivation, and not care a bit." If only, people had read Allah's Quran and had Iman in It from the core of their hearts,---then they would have know that--- We can not live a plushy life.-----We can not live in big expensive houses, wear gold and expensive clothes, eat expensive foods,-------when there are a lot of people hungry, without medicine and shelter. Living style, houses, clothes, foods, must be,-----must be simple (not tempting to others). We are not given to use up,-----whatever is more than our needs,---must be given out. If we make an average of the Rizq in this world,---no one can be rich,---and no one will be hungry. If we try to become rich,---we will destroy the average.-------And we will be the criminals. We can not become rich,---until a lot of people become poor, destitute and die in deprivation. Because-------Allah sent down Rizq in accordance with our "Needs",-----and not in accordance with our "Unjust Wishes".

Of course this is no answer at all, for it assumes that he is approaching the bible as though it could possibly be true, yet he is apriori presupposing it to be false. Thus, my question stands On what grounds can he cite one word from the bible to "prove" his assertion that the bible is false? His argument is self-reflexively absurd. The Bible contains the Truth, but it has been added to by those who inherited the Books. This is spoken of in the Quran, and in Surah 548-50, we are warned about following the desires of those who inherited the Books. This is why the Quran verifies the previous Books, as has been the way of Allah with all His Prophets (pbut). The foundation of your argument lies in proving a Book comes from Allah - our Creator, the All Mighty, All Knowing - or not. How do you discern if a Book truly comes from Allah or it comes from man? There is a falsification test that is found in the Quran, that proves whether it comes from man or comes from Allah, and is found in Surah 482. "What, do they not ponder the Koran? If it had been from other than God surely they would have found in it much inconsistency." Surah 482 If it contains errors, then it comes from man, not from Allah. Does the Bible contain a falsification test? As a Christian won't listen to anything from the Quran, then I am to bring teachings from their own collection of Books to show their inconsistencies and errors. If they uphold that a Book cannot be from Allah if it does not say 'I said', then I can show them their scriptures and show their hypocritical stance. As well, as Allah does not make mistakes, nor forgets - Surah 482, 2052 - I have a clear standard to prove scriptures in the Bible do not come from Him but from man, proving their addition. Using this criteria, do any of these verses from the Bible appear to be revealed by Allah, or written by man? And may I ask you, how do you know the Quran is from Allah and not from man? The proof is within the Quran, and can be shown to anyone. ) Peace.

Salam all Verse (2413), which demands clearly 4 witnesses to justify the rape, while (2413) states very clearly that if the victim could not bring the witnesses, then she is not telling the truth and the punishment is stoning until death! Can anyone conceive of any circumstances where the culprit would bring with him 4 witnesses to watch the rape to incriminate himself by asking them to watch and become witnesses to the crime? What is the solution if there is no 4 withnesses? There is no reason why the verse should be taken as a way to deal with a rape case, rather in the context is shown how to deal with baseless slander with no evidence. Witnesses in the context of that sura can also be taken to mean evidence. When you accuse someone of something, be it promiscuity or thievery etc, you do bring forth your evidence whether it involves people or not. Based on the strength of such you can take further action. http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9598245.30 The quraan states punishment for murder, manslaughter, stealing but did not elaborate on how to prove it. This is left for investigations based on all available tools to the said society at the said era. Rape is neither zina nor false accusation of fornication, where four witnesses are required, so it should be proven by all available means. As for punishment, it's like many more crimes for which punishment is not described again left for the society on condition that it should be equal to the crime and does not go beyond the limits set by the quraan. Btw, where is stoning to death mentioned?
