We had excellent interviews in Los Angeles and Atlanta. The interview with the leading skeptic/atheist Michael Shermer was just extra-ordinary! We will be at Affinia hotel in Manhattan, New York, until this weekend, June 26, 2011. The film crew will interview several people in their offices. Meanwhile we are thinking about staging some activities in Manhattan, Central Park and Columbia University mall. If you are a peacemaker, a monotheist please join us. We will be distributing 200+ copies of the Quran a Reformist Translation and we will be challenging New Yorkers for a three-minute philosophical, theological, and political debate challenge. If not interrupted by thunderstorm After the debate they could choose either a copy of the QRT or a can of soda and a small bag of potatato chips If you live in New York, you are invited to join us for our activities on streets and parks. You may contact Alan's cell phone 520 241 0073 Alan's English is poor. So, most likely he convey your call or number to me.

According to The Qur?aan, Adam is the name of a particular person. It is not the name of a species. See verse 333 for clarification. Verily, Allah picked Adam and Noah and the Family of Abraham and the Family of 'Imran from among and over all the people. Yes he did.. as shown by the verse.. Adam The Caliph.. the first homo sapiens.. the mark of a 'new species'.. picked among others hominid... Mind you that 1400 years ago.. the conception of 'species' doesn't exist yet.... The terminology of "Beney Adam" which appears many times in the Quran, and also Bible ("Son Of Man"/Ben Adam) are a synonym of "Homo Sapiens" today. Thank you for highlighting the verse into attention.. as now it became clearer... An individual hominid named Adam was 'picked' from other hominid as the mark of a new species.. that also explain the verse where supposedly the Angel initially objected on "why you pick from those who shed blood".... Perhaps the Angel has seen how early hominid (Adam's biological ancestor) behaves.. and they have seen the 'hominid brutal tribal war' where hominids are capable of 'shedding each others blood' (perhaps by cracking their opponent skull with stone or rock) for meticulous reasons. This inline with archeological findings of early hominids fossils.. where they did found the mark of 'mass murder' on a site, where skulls are cracked and so on... But again it's still consistent behavior of homo sapiens today.. which rarely be found on other species... I guess we haven't much evolved from such brutal behavior haven't we? As Adam were 'picked' from 'a group', so does Noah, Abraham and Amran... and now it's becoming clearer and what does 'being picked from and over all other people' really mean. It mean that such individual DNA/genes shall became the 'new template' of DNA to be inherited by their subsequent generations.. a.k.a species evolution through the survival of the fittest or it's actually more of 'survival of the nicest' for homo sapiens / benei adam case.. Conclusion Be nice, otherwise you shall fall out of the evolution path.. (extinct / exterminated) Salam / Peace

I presumed these 'atheist' argument are mostly due to constant exposure of God portrayed as human being.. (personified) Commonly found within western culture.. especially Christianity... If they really understand on the concept of "What Is God".. The questions of "Does God Exist?" and "If He does where is He?" and "If God is X why does God didn't do Y" are irrelevant.. Everything within this Universe are created in pair (balanced).. Good and Evil, Night and Day, Positive and Negative, Positron and Electron, Matter and Anti-Matter.. Theist and Atheist.. Sectarian and Secular... Truth and Falsehood, Up and Down, Left and Right, Life and Death etc.. Is Evil a problem? Not necessarily.. perhaps it is a necessity.. without evil, good shall not exist wouldn't it? Is Atheism a problem? Again not necessarily... Is Atheism a falsehood? Again not necessarily.. it depends on what does the word "God" meant.. it's true that some conception of God/Deity are false.. not true... Is there such thing as a free choice/free will? Well again it depends on your perspective..from the being/creation perspective yes there is.. from the absoluteness perspective; no there isn't... Salam / Peace

Prior to my becoming a Muslim, I confess that I have engaged in anal sex. And I can tell you the "real" difference between anal and vaginal sex, even before I became a Muslim. Anal sex is more about "lust", not love. It's more of "playing it rough", satisfying oneself. Vaginal sex is more about love, less of lust. And when carried out intimately, you can really feel the love that flows between you and your partner. That's all I think I can contribute to the subject.

DISCLAIMER For whoever so reads the document below, it is hereby assumed that by no means that as stated from previous, nor to current thread, for the purpose of academic veneer, rather so as to elaborate upon the subjects of areas in opposition as in this, will by default will absolve all liability or/and responsibility of the author in disputes, claims to the extent of, moral, monetary, contradictions, accusations and all other possibilities which may in detriment to the author. Peace, Dont take the above so seriously, I do hope you can, Im sure you will ;D So, glad that is out the way, allow me to proceed.... welcome yeah Let me put this simply, in REAL LIFE, there are PORN sites that has a disclaimer, it says OVER 18 ENTER, UNDER 18 EXIT. Do you expect underaged teens will not enter a site just because of the disclaimer? Of course not. Do the site owner care? Very suspect. When an educational company says their material should not be construed as actionable advice? Do they give direct actionable advice in reality? With regular impunity I tell you. So dont insult my intelligence and expect me to fall for that old chestnut as to your flimsy disclaimer. voodoo whatever Well, there are other Quranic verses which addresses that .........and I don't have to belabour the point do I? ignore Hypothesis of a Flat earth is a completely different issue to the rhetorical, dogmatic, religious belief in Hadith. laugh Okay, case closed. End of. handshake Salam, Since you said not to take your post seriously, I would happily end the discussion here. If you sad nothing with seriousness, than I take your statements and quotes as mere "having fun for the sake of it". Have fun, enjoy !! Dear NY Mumin, Some of your problems are due to the sectarian distortions committed on translations and interpretations of the Quran and I recommend you the Quran a Reformist Translation, which discusses many of such distortions in the introductory section and in the endnotes of related verses. Please check www.19.org or www.amazon.org for more info on this translation. Another set of your problems is due to the influence of western propaganda. For instance, flogging appears to be a "barbaric" punishment, but as a western educated lawyer, as an ex-prisoner, I would argue otherwise. Interestingly, recently there was a book by Peter Moskos, an American criminologist who suggested public flogging for some crimes instead of prison. For instance, read this or search his name for the book. http//www.theblaze.com/stories/in-defense-of-flogging-criminologist-makes-brutal-case-to-solve-prison-problem/ I would like to suggest you reading Michel Foucault's Discipline and Punish, too. PS I may visit New York within two weeks, God willing. We are currently working on a Documentary film on the mathematical structure of the Quran, and New York is among the many destinations on our list. So, if the NY before Mumin is reference to your city of residence, then we may have chance to meet there and discuss the issue face to face ) Peace, Edip

The basic premise of those who reject the authority of the Sunnah is that Allaah only revealed the Quraan to the Prophet Muhammad . However, there are certain indisputable verses in the Quraan which clearly prove that the Prophet received divine revelations that are not in the Quraan And we did not appoint the Qiblah that you were upon except to test those who would follow the Messenger from those who would turn upon their heels. Who is AlRasool mentioned in 2143? That is not Prophet Mohammed (AS), please take a look here http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9602494.0 This verse is speaking about the initial Qiblah, which was facing toward Jerusalem. Allaah later changed the Qiblah toward Makkah, and some hypocrites objected to this The order to face Makkah as the Qiblah is found in the Quraan. However, Allaah says that He also gave the initial Qiblah toward Jerusalem to the Prophet as well. Yet nowhere in the Quraan will you find an order from Allaah telling the believers to face toward Jerusalem when they pray. It was a divine inspiration that was expressed through the Sunnah. Jerusalem, Makkah, I don't find these words in the aayat quoted. And don't you afraid of saying something lie on Allah that Allah never said? Look at the highlighted part above and get me which aayat you are referring to. Allaah also says When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allaah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted." This is another example of a revelation that the Prophet received that is nowhere to be found in the Quraan. Oh, that is a personal matter of the Prophet, it is not good to discuss and disclose his personal matters. And when Allah did not what us to know what was said by Prophet to his wife, then why are you interested in it? BTW, as brother Wakas stated, inspiration cannot be a revelation. May Allah guide us all to His true path pr Mohammed M. Khan

Er, I know no one's asking, but this is my 181st lifetime on earth, or so i've been told ;D That's beside the point though. Agree with Path about "your/my Islam" thing. Reincarnation can only be understood/proven personally. Very personal it is. Irrational behaviors or emotional problems are often a clue, from what I gather so far. So if you don't believe it, heck what do I care. Many people tried to quantify it die twice, live twice, and then suddenly you live forever (either in hell or heaven). Here's an alternative, instead of reading it in a linear fashion, what if you read it as a cycle? ...You were dead, and then He livens you up. Then He makes you dead. Then He makes you alive. Then, to Him you return. By the way, just saying, removing reincarnation from your belief makes you easier to control by fear, you know... fear of death, fear of hell etc, even fear of God. Not cool. "Fear" is itself the absence (or in Path's word, "separation&quot of the Divine, and that is the irony for so many talking about faith. That is only part of the test however. The separation, the duality. I think the same too, Path Everyone will return to the Source, that is, without separation at all. And I take 228 as a confirmation. Evil is temporary, Divinity is forever. I think the only question for evil is how long? How long are you going to play it? How long are you going to stand it? This changed my view drastically. It set me a much greater perspective. There is no one, nothing to hate at all. What will happen if people realize that they have gone through different races, different faiths, different stories? Oh, only more perspective. An executioner can 'take' the life of a serial murderer without hate (was gonna say with love, if it isn't too cheesy), knowing that the person he is about to kill will definitely return to the Source. As part of the Divine. (OK, the word "part" might get you complaining in 3D that, 'Oh but God can't be divided into parts!' Well, yes, and here we are, thinking that we must be somehow "separated" from God? Ah, yes... That's what this 3D world is for, isn't it?) Back to 228, what if we interpret "dead" as "(being) separated" (as in, "those who have lost faith are essentially dead&quot You were separated, and then He livens you up. Then He makes you separated. Then He makes you alive... Then, to Him you return. Many ways to interpret it that way too. One is that we can "return" while we 'live' on this earth, fully enlightened beyond karma (ascended, if you will), doing cool tricks, saying cool stuff that people will quote (heck even made into scripture hundreds of years later...), raising the vibrations of the earth... A joke the quickest way you can prove reincarnation to someone is to kill him, so he can get to other side of the veil and see it for himself. There is however, no guarantee that he'll remember a bit when he gets back here. Plus you've just set yourself a karma.

Peace, There's an interesting view of Quranists like what Basma Khalifa of submission.org have written; i paste here below Satan is currently furious that his scheme has been exposed by our generation, and that the truth is unveiled will prevail by God's will and support. He has developed new approach, exclusively for our group of believers knowing that we are finally engaged in the learning process as qualified students for one Teacher and one easy, perfect, and straightforward source. He has established a Satanic perspective for 551-2 mainly to divert us from the clear truth and fill our hearts with confusion and uncertainty. The Satanic twist of 551-2 he introduces is that " The Most Gracious, Teacher of Quran" means God teaches a certain verse or command to each one of us differently. Based on that, not only different understandings/interpretations of a given teaching are quite possible but also are quite welcome!!! So, instead of upholding personal opinions and interpretations of the scholars through his old, "follow the leader" scheme, we are filling up our memories with the different understandings and interpretations of fellow believers through the new twist of 551-2! His ultimate goal has been always the same deviation far from the truth from God, confusion, and uncertainty that lead to regressed souls. also Basma adds "The Most Gracious- Teacher of Quran" and "it is we who explain it" are straightforward statements to ENSURE the source of the meanings and teachings. They are to DIRECT us to what is constructed in black and white by God and to KEEP us guarded against different opinions, different sources, and different understandings. God is our Teacher, because the text book is one and it is His. There is a crucial difference between understanding the meaning of a verse, and offering a personal perspective or an application for that verse. Understanding a verse means the mental precess to comprehend what is expressed by God in that verse. A personal perspective is one's personal ideas that are combined and offered to create a meaningful relationship to that verse. Personal perspective of a verse doesn't affect in the least the understanding of the meaning delivered by God. Meanings expressed and delivered by God through His words and verses are not changeable and should not perceived differently. We grow in knowledge and grasp a new meaning when we pay attention to more specific values of God's words and overcome our personal limitations or, at times, blindness. This doesn't mean that God's verses have different understandings, it means something is newly revealed to us in the light of Quran that we have never known or paid attention to before (20114, 5101). The words of the Most Gracious establish the absolute, and concrete truth, in an accurate and efficient logic. God states that He authored His teachings without any ambiguity as the absolute truth and the only source of guidance. Hence He is the Clarifier and Teacher. My issue with this view is this, Why then have submission.org, Rashad Khalifa and now Basma have to TEACH and PREACH their own views and interpretations of the Quran?? Why not just leave the people to read the Quran and let them learn, with God's guidance and leave them be?? Its absolute that there is a true meaning of the Quranic verses but its also true that we, will have different perceptions, views, and understanding of the verses. Basma says NO! Different views will not be tolerated. Arent they two different things? Our understanding of the verses and the true meaning of the verses? Perhaps so that the hadeeth have been exposed as such, but i digress as a matter of principle, then if we were to follow the view of this type of Quranists, then this website, and submission.org should not exist in the first place. Free-minds.org holds many different views and state them here, we discuss, elaborate, bounce ideas. Im not saying outright that the Quranists view of this is wrong....however lets elaborate this as such. Let me repeat and repaste what she wrote "The Most Gracious- Teacher of Quran" and "it is we who explain it" are straightforward statements to ENSURE the source of the meanings and teachings. They are to DIRECT us to what is constructed in black and white by God and to KEEP us guarded against different opinions, different sources, and different understandings. God is our Teacher, because the text book is one and it is His. And interestingly, when I sent Basma an email to ask about a verse, she was happy to reply and elaborate her understanding of it!! Hah. Now this is the most amusing part......allow me to paste Muhammad Forbidden from Explaining the Quran Do not move your tongue to hasten it. It is we who will collect it into Quran. Once we recite it, you shall follow such a Quran. Then it is we who will explain it. You (the command is expressed in plural tense for humanity in the Arabic text) shall all follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; do not follow any idols besides Him. Rarely do you take heed. This too is a blessed scripture that we have revealed; you (the command is expressed in plural tense for humanity in the Arabic text) shall follow it and lead a righteous life, that you may attain mercy. Now 1) Rashad Khalifa interpreted with his views, that Muhammad was forbidden to explain the Quran. 2) Basma khalifa negates this and claims the command is to ALL humanity.3) Out of reverence for her father, whom many believe is a messenger, does not SIMPLY edit their version of the translation 4) Why does she then have to EXPLAIN this verse since IT IS CLEAR FROM THE QURAN ITSELF, DIRECTLY FROM GOD?4) Isnt this hypocrisy and contradiction of the highest order or am i missing something here? Different views of this, are welcome, until a good refutation of this appears.

Then why is the Quran sung? Why does it often rhyme? The only way to read this book is to read beyond the obvious. The idea that we need any book to see what is already written in the heart is nothing but an arena for politics and inter-faith espionage. Puppet shows.

One could wish for better leaders, but who indeed is the real leader? Thought goes all the way up to that position. Cleanse yourself of demons, and clean the world.
