A bigger tribe? Possibly -- a tribe of vassals with the Zionists lording over them. It appears to be a long-suffering dream of theirs. The ahistorical Bible's militant injunctions and fancy promises allow a religious flavor to the Zionist aspirations. Remove these mythical elements and what pretext would the Zionists have? I think a Zionist is likely to be one rooted in Judaism or Christianity (at least in as much as it can help their cause). But at a more general level, any Jew or Christian who would endorse the above diktats might be a good candidate. I don't think it's only about land, it's about kingdom. Who do you think are the Zionists, and what do you suppose is their goal? I hope the Jews, Christians and others who have been led to believe (due to brainwashing or simply want of better knowledge) that terrorism is another name for the Quran would open their eyes (and the two books) and see for themselves which of the two is a terrorist manual. And what about Noah and the ship?

Well I know people of the the book can have ALOT of meanings. But if not taken in context to mean 'people of this book' it seems that it only refers to people who adhere to the Torah, i.e. Mosaic teachings. . This definition is from Al-Qamus and is the same one to be found in Lisan al-arab. Although I will double check it's synonymous use with katibah, both possibly meaning divine scripts. If the prhase means 'people of revelation from above' that is something else, but it also can specifically mean 'People of the Mosaic teaching'. but if you hide the minimum from the outside world and say that the ornaments or adornments are private parts then the verse says that you are permitted to display these to your father, brother, son etc... which doesn't seem right, so more area must be covered in order for it to make sense that you can uncover those parts in front of certain people. eg in traditional islam, the hair is covered in front of non mahram but can be revealed to mahrams. so what are the limits in qur'an because to cover the private parts only in front of non mahram would mean being free to reveal them in front of mahram. so what do you think are the limits? Well I think every individual has their own limits. For example, I feel comfortable wearing singlets/tank top and shorts AT HOME where no body but my family or really close relatives is around. But when I go outside, the minimum will be T-shirt and jeans.

So Neo is both a Physical person...and also Translation; a Number pattern. Or watch the movie Pi and you'll understand that Numbers and patterns are in the universe around. The Books "Torah" "Ingil" and "Quran" all are composed of Number Sequences... Then Ill explain the Eternal Part.... Numbers Are Eternal.... They Go from ....to infinity.......-5,-4,-3,-2-1, 0, 1,2,3,4,5.......To infinity. You can see that in an essence... Numbers are eternal... Before the before...after the after.... (i.e. I do not see the Creator who Created all of Creation)... which makes Perfect Sense, Since the Creator (Source) Would have to be Unseen...Hidden because HE is above "Light Complextion, mass, weight, color, Smell, taste, etc... (all attributes of creations). I see the Bread crumbs...I just dont see the one who left them...and perhaps I will never see the One...because Once you "See" the One...You realize...then...That THAT is NOT the One... because the ONE is above ALL Visual Limitations. All we can feel is the Spirit that was breathed inside of us. ie. we all have a special connection with the source. Maybe if we do what He says... we can get Closer to the Source. Also NOTE Allah's Attributes are "The Hidden One" "The Unseen". I think after an Atheist Thinks about that ...His head will just explode... lol I think the atheist will just give up giveup and say... hmm, then when does 'marriage' begin? how does one define 'marriage'? I'm not sure. I think of MMA to mean someone who you are in a relationship with and are commited to and marriage as the relationship which you have chosen to be the one you want to be in for the rest of your life. Thus a lifelong commitment.

Peace, I think that's just part of growing up, discovering who you are. The thing is you have to be positive, be busy, be "useful", be productive, be creative. And all the while not forgetting the god, and being grateful to him. And once in a while you just have to stand still, and reflect upon life and meditate. But it's counterproductive to be thinking bad/negative thoughts, or even thinking over everything you did and whether you did the right thing or did it the right way or what you are about to do etc. You just have to get your attitude right and have good intentions. If you think about it we are basically trying to be "Sunnah"...(Quran alone is Sunnah)lol I read all of the Other Friday Jummah Topics and have this as my Conclusion... Eh-Hem....cough I am Sick of being help up by this dogmatic and Paradoxical State. Many have said... "Oh you cant do ---Blank----- because this one group of pagans along time ago did it for pagan reasons" ..."Therefore you can no longer do it. since its pagan in origin" I wont subscribe to this belief because I am Sure Pagans did just about everything, and that does not mean anything to me. Pagans Worshiped their false God's on Sunday, Friday, and Starurady and actually on EVERYDAY... Sunday was used to worship the sun. Friday was used to worship a Pagan god... But this really doesnt mean anything to me since I Neither Worship a pagan god on Friday, nor do I on Sunday. So therefore, Since I worship "Allah" the Omnipotent, I can do son on Friday, or on Sunday, or Any/Everyday.! ;D D Also, I personally Choose to do the Traditional Friday Jummah because I feel it is necessary in my Area since Friday is the Last "official Working day". It is Traditionally the Most Convenient day, and its contents coincide with the Quran. Tradtional Friday Jummah by a Muslim 0)Prayer Call to Allah, saying Allah Alone...is the Greatest, Come to Salah. Praying to Allah is so awesome. Pray to Allah, 2)Listen to an insightful kutbah about reflecting on submission and Gloriying Allah. 3)Sit with My Muslim Bro's and Sis's and enjoy their close company 4)Salat Jummah Pray to Allah 5)Put some Zakat money in the Jar (or physically do it myself outside) Go back to my Work daily business If Jummah Prayer on Friday is like this.... I dont see how it is at all "Wrong". If one wishes to not participate in this Jummah and Choose another day to do it, or do it in his own home....fine that his own decision. For me though, Juammah on Friday is Internationally known and si well established. so for convenient and traditional reasons, ill stick to Friday. (Still bearing in mind that Allah's word is #1(quran), and it is Allah who is giving me this opportunity to do this.) Note* I dont think ALL TRADITIONS are Haram and should be avoided. Only Traditions that don't co-inside with the Quran ;D Example. It is Traditional to Give a "Cheers" to your Friends and Family when Eating/Drinking. is this Practice Haram? I dont think so, it co-insides, because you are being Respectful to your Fellow Brethren, and are doing it with good intentions. Example, If I was Christian, I would Meet togeather with other christians for the Kutbah on Sunday. sun Not because of the SUN, and SUN worship..... But because it is internationally Known to be Sunday for Christians. Worshiping the God of Christ on Sunday. ie. Worship Allah on Sunday. (nothing to do with the Sun, since Allah created it!) ;D And that's my Conclusion! Very good input. For me the khutbah(sermon) is a problem more than the actual prayers. I like you believe its Ok especially if you have friends and relatives and so on who go to Jumua' or you live in a country where Jumi'a is a good place to meet people. I just wished the khutbah was Quranic. Friday prayers has a very good advantage in the sense it helps those who never pray or read the Quran an opportunity to do so at least once a week. But the khutbah needs to change. I think that the translation should not be based on ideological intepretations. We don't question sabt(saturday) regarding the sabbath in the Quran so why just Jumua'? More research needs to be done on this. But to be honest other than friday and saturday the rest of the Arabic week is numbers. So there is some mystery about this. The Ummayds could have just invented a week day like friday to copy the Christians or Jews.

Oh, just that this has taken on the looks of a mysterious and sordid affair. have come to ruku`and sujud, haven't we &nbsp salamun alaykum san, simple & all, if we may say, 'iman' is 'to believe', 'ruku'' is 'to acknowledge', and 'sujud' is 'to give respect'. while 'asm'' is 'status'. in our current comprehension that is, and the salient issues contained in al-AAalaq (http//free-minds.org/quran/PM/96) are (selected few among the many) a. your 'rabb' is the one who created man b. He created man to depend on Him c. He taught what man does not know d. but man is too much, in that he regard himself to be able to know by himself e. indeed to your 'rabb' is the reference (read c) etc. but what is 'rabb'? in simple english, 'rabb' implies 'the one in control' or perhaps the ideas regarding 'rabb' can be gathered around the following words; owner-master-lord. stage 1 the knowledge or information regarding the 'rabb', man and knowledge. stage 2 one believes (iman) or disbelieve (la yu'min) stage 3 when one believes (iman), one should acknowledge or accept the facts (ruku&#039 the 'rabb' - to acknowledge It's status & roles in one's life. otherwise one will dismiss or deny the information regarding the 'rabb' - thus such a one becomes a 'mukazzib'. stage 4 only one who has acknowledged the status of one's 'rabb' will give the respect (sujud). iman, ruku' & sujud are pregnant words indeed. some examples a. the rabb or lord is the one that should be the only one in control of one's being (mind, feel & deeds), but what is the one in control of you now? is it your mind? is it your emotion? or is it another person? what did the qur'an say about the creations of the mind? also of the feel? and of course of other people? we can learn the details of these in the qur'an, couldn't we? b. when one acknowledges the fact that one in control of one's being should only be the rabb, it is only proper that one should know much more about one's rabb. only in later surah could we come across the very idea about God or 'Allah'. what does this fact say about God? and there are people who often unknowingly appointed multiple gods, sometimes together with God - thus a mushrik one became. c. to have other 'rabb' is to appoint equals or rivals for God - it is to be disrespectful to God. to be prejudiced is also to be disrespectful to God. to wrong one's understanding is to be disrespectful to God too. and the list regarding man's disrespectful attitudes can be very lengthy, but suffice to say that some believers have so often blatantly been disrespectful to God. and most do not realize about their disrespect to God. thus the frequent call is 'aqeemoo al-salat wa-atoo alzakat' or 'correct your relationships with purified hearts', especially the relationship with God. one who has corrected one's relationship with God will slowly but surely be guided to enjoy excellent relationships with other people, and whatever is there in the skies and the earth and in between them both. But they're not consistent. I already stated that they're not consistent in the way how Salaat should be performed, but they're consistent in that Salaat is worship/ritual prayer. All of them, from the most "authentic" ones to the "weak" and "fabricated." I think that's what I've been saying all along? It's not matter how this worship is performed as long as it doesn't violate the Qur'an (a.k.a setting up partners, etc.). It is a bond where we worship God and remember Him at specific times throughout the day. Some people don't see this by reading the Qur'an, but I do. Now if you're saying that Salaat is something else like "doing good deeds" or some other theory, then no, I would have to disagree there. Yes we can do it differently, I do it differently and I gave my reasons why. But we can't just do anything we want and slap the name "Salaat" on it. Some people have been saying that "doing good deeds" is Salaat, or simply "remembering God" without doing anything physically at all it "Salaat." I completely agree. I have said that many times. Doing it the way the hadeeth describe it (or the ways the hadeeth describe it) violates the Qur'an, in my opinion. I already gave my reasons why in a previous post. Read up on what I said regarding Tashhahud etc. And God knows best. Sorry for the late reply. I keep forgetting to check the threads i have written in. Let me tell you where i am with this. If you want to use hadith to influence the way you uphold salat, then i think it is ok so long as you don't think that they are necessary to use. A hadith is like other books it will have bad in it and good or possibly neither or just one of the two. It is not divine. I disagree with you on the physical aspect of it. I am also open to the possibility that salat can mean good deeds as others have posted but i also think that it also means the salat in which we are discussing. Not sure on the times (fajr, esha) as it would not make sense for certain times to be special but still it seems pretty clear in the Q that those are the times. So i will try and stick to those times. I have felt a bit better when upholding at those times. But that could just be my bias or unconcious mind which thinks of the Quran's timing.

Why is taurat/injeel not mentioned in 1746? Why quran alone? Does this leave room for another book? Can people readily reject what you call the torah and/or the bible, since this verse mentions QURAN ALONE? Find me a verse, just one verse, that that says at-tauraat was given to Moosa. It is indeed Isa (not moosa) who teaches (and was taught) both at-tauraat AND al-injeel (348, 5110), along with al-kitab and alhikmah. Moosa was given kitabun-moosa (1117, 4612). He, along with his brother, were given 'al-furqan' (254. We are also told to believe in what was sent down to Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaaq, Yaaqoob, and Al-asbat (384). Where are these books ? Btw, bani israel doesn't refer to jews. Bani israil are descendants of Noah (173). Don't forget in chapter 71 he prays for the annihilation of all kafireen on earth. -Ibrahim sprang from Noah's group(3783). And Ibrahim was not (usually translated as jewish and christian) 2140.
