Most converts in the West seem to turn into Islamic extremism. Its very sad. I mean I talked with a recent young Australian convert who was very extreme that she crossed out any picture of her in the past in which she wore no veil. I tried to talk some sense into her but she ended up calling me kuffar and stuff. WTF!

I think we have to Pray God rather believing a man will do Good for us. All the GOOD is from GOD and all the bad is by himself. "Oh Lord give us leader who is afraid of GOD" "Oh lord give us a leader who is a messenger. As you promised you keep sending messengers till final judgement" Love Jango O0 Peace Thanks for letting me know Samia. Sorry for reposting. Praying to God IMO is important Jango. But if no one acts using their will to act then would we be worthy of the outcome we seek for God to bring about? As Obama is a leader his decision is highly important and can do many things UNLESS God wills otherwise. peace peace

Peace, I agree, first study modern Arabic as you will then can read letters, sentences, understand verbs and nouns etc. Then there are some good books that introduce Qur'anic Arabic as http//ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51beUECS%2BzL.SL500_AA240.jpg An Introduction to Koranic and Classical Arabic (Paperback) by Wheeler M. peace i have also read some materials about Maitreya. short introduction is here http//share-international.org/introduction/introduction1.htm In Islam, he is known as Mahdi, the messenger of covenant and the messenger reciting the holy scriptures. in quran there is no Mahdi, in my understanding. it seems to be sunnis understanding http//www.mahdiaccordingtofoursunnischools.com/ The schools of the People of the Sunnah are in agreement that the Prophet ?Isa (as) will return to Earth at a date close to Doomsday, that he will descend to Earth in the wake of the appearance of the Dajjal, that he will kill the Dajjal and that he will face the Kaaba as he performs his prayers. They regard any objections in this area as heretical. (Al-Farq bayn al-Firaq, Abd-al-Qahir ibn Tahir ibn Muhammad al-Baghdadi) Qur?an 381,82 381 And God took a covenant from the prophets ?For what I have given you of the Scripture and wisdom, then a messenger will come to you authenticating what is with you. You will believe in him and support him.? He said ?Do you testify, and agree to this burden??, they said ?We testify.? He said ?Then bear witness, and I am with you bearing witness.? 382 Whoever turns away after that, then they are the wicked ones. There is no prediction of coming some Mahdi in those verses. Here it is sayd that to those prophets from who God take the covenant, will come a messenger. 616 616 And when Jesus, son of Mary, said ?O children of Israel, I am God's messenger to you, authenticating what is present with me of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name will be ?most acclaimed.?? But when he showed them the clear proofs, they said ?This is clearly magic? this ?most claimed? is in arabic ?ahmed? which is another form of Muhammad. 981,2 981 Those who rejected amongst the people of the Scripture and those who set up partners would not leave until proof came to them. 982 A messenger from God reciting purified scripts. here also is no specific messenger in question. God sends messengers all the time to every nation 1047 And for every nation is a messenger; so when their messenger comes, the matter is decreed between them with justice, and they are not wronged. I dont wanna say that there are no Maitreya coming. I just say that those claims you gave are not correct and in my opinion the quran do not talk about Maitreya.

666 Children understand one thing, whatever they may say the truth will alwys outshine the lies, The Quran is the word of our Lord ALLAH, the Quran as you all know was relayed to a gentlemen known as Muhammad pbuh our beloved prophet through an honoured Angel Gabriel as, therefore let them utter words from their foul mouths who say that the Quran is a lie, tell them to produce 10 chapters similar to it, and when they will not be able to them, announce to them a greivious penalty which awaits them in the fire of hell, children our ALLAH is not uneasy with those creatures who donot invoke Him,in the end they will come to know the inevitable punishment. This gentlemen Ali Sina is merely a slave to the Zionist regime to defame our religion, you see they fear the truth, and they are trying their utmost to extinguish the light , but ALLAH will ensure that ISLAM will be amongst the superior religion of mankind. There is no chance for them to be victorious, for the ones who have blind faith in ISLAM will always overtunr the ones who have none.

peace, Building a website is relatively easy and cheap BUT it depends on the functionality you wish it to have. If that is complicated/fancy/extensive/etc then it becomes more difficult. Also, depends on who your target audience is because you have to consider how you are going to reach them. A person can have a great looking website but very little traffic to it. The saying is "content is king". Feel free to pm me with a detailed plan on what you want to do etc and I can give you some advice. Same goes for anyone else.

MPJP could become really popular in Pakistan because there's a lot of muslims in Pakistan who don't like the nonsense version of islam prevalent in Pakistan.

tarmo THERE ARE MESSENGERS WALKING ON EARTH THIS VERY DAY ! This very caption is sufficient for me to endorse it as true. Messengers are there in all languages; in every capital, town and city. And most of them are not from the so called muslim community but from other communities, for you will not find a change from the sunnah of Allah.

Hey guys, I really don't know where my life is heading, I'm just "going with the flow," waiting for something to happen that will put me back on track. What that thing is, I don't know. I'm just waiting... Just thought I should throw that out there.. air For sure we have our Wish from Him and our lives are heading towards the same if only we do not disturb it. So keep going with the flow. We do not see the intangible Wish implanted in our hearts; yet it is incumbent upon a mumin to believe in such of His Grace even when it is in the non perceptible form. This is believing in the Unseen. As long as your days are passing by without worry or fear and with peace in mind and patience in your activities, you are right on the track already. Go with the flow, if only the flow is not hard and turbulent. This is my way, not my view. Peace. .

Whether a child is the biological child or not doesn't determine how they feel towards the parents... it is how thry are raised. It is the act of up-bringing which makes you a parent, not the mere fact that you biologically produced the child.

Peace, And it's such a barbaric thing to do. It's completely stupid to think that the wise and magnificent god who created the most brilliant and spectacular things would require Its male followers to have their genitalia mutilated. I've realized now that islam doesn't command anything that offends our inherent and well developed sense of right and wrong and I think that if you don't understand what the quran really means, you do have your conscience and therefore do have the responsibility to be logical and moral.

Well, if from "holy" you mean "unquestioned" or "sacred" then the very assertion "No thing is holy" becomes holy or sacred. So, you cannot escape from having a holy premise or axiom. Besides, why uniting people should be our "holy goal"? If unity would mean compromising the truth, then, Heaven No! If the unity of people was the top goal of science, today we would be living almost like cavemen Peace, Edip Peace Edip, It is not a holy premise but a logical one, and it is open to debate. And why uniting people? to overcome the many means of segregation that are causing much destruction.

thegod - umar is believed to have died on the last day of 23 ah & buried on the first day of 24 ah. umar is believed to have died on the last night of 23 ah. Then, according to arabic system, he died in 24 ah. So the date is spot-on. ma'a salaam. God bless all. al'hamd li Allaah Rabb al'aalameen.

peace, I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything, just saying that in order to use the site it would take me quite a bit of time to understand what exactly I was doing. I don't know the arabic language, so I would be hopping back and forth from websites in order to find what I am looking for. I dont know the Arabic language either. Some others I know who use the site also do not know Arabic. This is not a barrier. The only barrier is will/effort and time (like in almost every aspect of life I might add). If you have both of these, you will be fine. If you tried what I said and found it confusing, why not seek clarification? Are you concerned about looking foolish in your search for the truth? Never think that! The fools are those who do not seek the truth, those who follow the crowd blindly, those who would rather remain ignorant than risk making a mistake. In the other thread, I described what to do in order to use PRL. The starting point was if you knew of a verse where the word you were interested in studying occurred. So the question is, do you? If you do, type the verse into the "search function" of PRL (click found top right), and it will list ALL the roots in the verse. So, from then, it is simply a matter of process of elimination. Usually there is no more than 10 and about half will have meanings listed, so if those meanings dont resemble the word you are studying, then they can be eliminated, leaving about 5. Then, eliminating these by simply checking each root in PRL will eliminate all but one. The whole process takes about 5mins, which is perhaps less time than it took to write the post. Of course, the first time might take longer, but your speed will improve dramatically only after a few goes. Can you point out where specifically you got stuck/confused? It is not only helpful for you, but also for me, as I would like PRL to be as user-friendly as possible, so you'd be doing me a favour. I don't know.. perhaps I am in the wrong type of forum, and would be better off going back to google and yahoo answers with my questions. You give up too easily!

Do you mean that the address suddenly changes for no reaon from (To all of you), to (to only the males amongst you)? Do we have such an example in the qur'aan (languages do not have this any way)? Can you find the Men from the people of book in that sentence? or you mean to point out that the Koranic women are allowed some kind of a liaison with "Mohsinnats otul kitab"? This is redundant. The conjunction, in this case "and", weighs equally whatever before it and whatever comes after it. Look at verses 443 and 56, both contain the word "nisaa'" and tell me that these "nisaa'" do not include men too. The conjunction in these verses is "or". No, it does not, the addressees are "O you who believe", "lamastamumuninssa", is being used as an idiom, and is valid for both, where as in 5-5 only mohsinnat ul ou tul kitab are being mentioned , there are plenty of Arabic words which could have covered both men and women of the people of book instead of "Mohsinnatul ootul kitab", had God intended to do so. You did by saying that (The "Men" from the people of the book are not prohibited/Haram for our women) Yes i did so , but not the half sentence you quoted, kindly print/read the whole sentence, The "Men" from the people of the book are not prohibited/Haram for our women, but are not recommended/allowed as well. OK let me explain to you with an example, let us say you are sick and I visit you. There are apples and bananas lying by your bed side table. I being a doctor, have more knowledge than you regarding your sickness, so I advise you to eat plenty of apples only, it means , that apples are good for you, so you should eat plenty of them cause they would benefit you at this point in time. You can eat bananas too if you are hungry and don't find anything else, or if you like them very much and hence unable to resist them. But they may not be of any benefit to you, and you never know, that they may actually cause some bit of problem in recovery, that is why i did not recommend them. Had they been harmful for your health, and i did not want you to eat them , i would say, "Do not eat bananas", and that would mean that you ensure that you do not eat them. Same way, It is not recommended that Koranic women should marry the Men from people of the book, However they are not specifically prohibited, for example, like zanis or Mushriks. peace siki

Peace, I just read this thread and am actually quite shocked. Even though the discrepancies between Hafs and Warsh are pretty small; this stands in stark contrast to the verse "We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption)." 15.9 Or does it mean that the most prelavent version of the Quran is guarded. For instance, I could sit at home and corrupt the text of the Quran but it wouldn't matter because it would be 1 Quran vs. 1 billions Qurans already out there. Is this what the verse 15.9 means when God promises to preserve the Quran? Or does it mean that God will not allow significant corruption of the Quran. There are always inconsistencies in books (spelling & grammar); but this is God's book people! I guess I am just very confused because I believed that Allah's book is inviolable and a small discrepancy is still a discrepancy. May God guide us towards the truth. -Said
