Dear israfeel, please read my modified post and pay attention to main points I am making eg a)God telling people to follow his messengers and b)God telling people his messengers had made mistakes. Unless we can justify these two types of verses we will see they contradict each other. My explanation removes that contradiction but if you have a better explanation I will accept that. I have stated my reasons for taking the quran alone as the foundation of deen of islam. Please state your reasons for taking the quran, sunnah and hadis together as foundation of deen of islam to help me understand your point of view. regards and all the best. You haven?t quoted a single Verse of the Quran in your ?modified post?. Your thesis that God tells people His Messengers made mistakes hasn?t been sufficiently presented to warrant an academic response. I suggest you make your argument more concisely and with citations from the Quran you claim to follow ?alone? and as the foundation of Islam. I have posted the link to an article on my website which absolutely demolish your ideas. Perhaps you can attempt to respond to them so we can get a fruitful discussion started here.

Assalam-o-Alikum! Dear Brother and Sister in Islam I want to make a credit card for my business but i want to confirm is credit card involve any sort of interest "sood" as you know "sood" is wrong in islam and we must care for this. So, Please define What is Sood? and its exact defination Thanks Ask yourself Why a bank should extend you credit to do your business without any return on it? Is bank forcing you to use its credit card or you are getting this as a facility/service? Why God has commanded us not to consume riba in the Quran and not stopped us to pay it? Does that mean paying riba is acceptable if you are forced to pay it? Most importantly is riba=interest? My humble understanding from studying AL-Quran so far is that riba is not modern day interest.

The only way to know that you are on the right path is to look into your heart and see if you are at peace. Like Jaffer said you will not be asked but you yourself be sufficient to know what you have done in your life. 5539-42 (&#65279 (&#65279 (&#65279 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? Peace

It is easier to read chapter 6 in all the existing translations and quicker. May be the brother can shorten the paragraphs, put in subtitles and small summaries to help the reader s concentration. Just a constructive view if the brother wants some feedback on his detailed work. I agree it is long and heavy on the eyes and brain as it stands. GOD bless. Peace.

There are some people who feels confusion on religion. Like, they don't know which religion or scripture is correct. So they just relax and believe that there is a creator but don't know what to follow. confused They are confused about religion because religions are man made. They will always be confused as long as they are following a religion. A scripture should itself be a proof for its correctness.

jafar, GOD does not have negative traits. GOD may be disappointed at some folks not seeking His mercy and forgiveness, but His system is set in stones Each soul deserves what it gets through their own choices. GOD s justice as well as mercy are also part of His will and plan. God will neither gain nor loose from souls wickedness or goodness . GOD has no needs. Or do you think GOD gains from those who believe or disbelieve? Lucky are those created. and more lucky are those who choose GOD s system/kingdom. jafar brother, you are mixing your books and interpretations of GOD s words. Your understanding of Qoran, in my opinion, comes from men s words. GOD bless you. Peace.

But how is this a sign that interaction is forbidden? to me it sounds like God advising on how to interact (ie. lower gaze=in a soft manner not flirty and modestly clothed) We agree handshake Peace NewFreeMind, Interaction is not forbidden, if it was, business would suffer, some information could not be transmitted, some repairs would have to be put off, delivery services could be stalled, freedom would be inhibited. It is not interaction that is forbidden but "how" we interact! I understand your conundrum about discourse with hadithers but for me those arguments are settled by Quran. People can say "the bible says this or that" or "the Veda says this or that" but the Quran is the final revelation revealed to us. jedi peace

I am sure you did not mean that. I just want to clarify this for some readers who might get the wrong impression that Quran has misleading content. There is no way Quran has any misleading part, because having a misleading part is contradictory it is being divine guidance. Salaam Wiseman, Huruf. Thanks for your clarification. That's exactly what I thought. It depends on the reader's point of view. Since english is not my first language, I cannot find the correct words to express that. But you can get the point when you read the entire post. Peace

Truthful are people who put divine program to the test by carefully scrutinizing it for its workability and coming up with their plans of actions for themselves to implement it to see the results for themselves. There is no sense in declaring commitment to a program by words and doing nothing in practice to make it real by actions. These verses leave one in no doubt as to what Islam is really about. It is not a religion at all but a deen ie a practical way of life for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of humanity. The Quran repeatedly tells people that people who acted upon this program got the results they were promised in this world, which proved the program true and that in turn proved its claim about its divine origin. The Quran makes it amply clear that it is up to mankind themselves to make their lives hell or heaven by properly understanding and properly following the divine program or not bothering at all. So people who are looking for easy answers through make beliefs and useless rituals or useless social, political and economic setups and practices are bound to painful suffering by their own wrong choices and actions. This verse also proves that there is a life after death and that people are will work for beautiful world in this life will be awarded such a life in hereafter for sure even if they do not see that life in this world themselves. A very powerful motivation for mankind to work for a beautiful world in here to qualify for an even better word in hereafter. There is no room for make beliefs and useless rituals in the Quran ie religion is declared invention of mullahs to harm and destroy humanity in people just so that rulers and money lenders could have things the way they would like to have them due to their ignorance based arrogance. To Allah alone belongs sovereignty of the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them because He alone has set-up systems and laws to govern all affairs relating all things. Since Allah has set-up due measures for all things he has also advised mankind to live by his goals he set for them to accomplish and according to his provided guidelines. This is why it is of vital importance that people live with each other on basis of an agreed set of goals and guidelines provided by Allah therefore doing things for fulfilling all their needs according to program, constitution and law of Allah in order to ensure they complement efforts of each other in order to create a beautiful world for themselves and be awarded for their proper efforts in hereafter as well. To bring about a beautiful world is impossible without people fulfilling their constitutional and legal obligations to each other so that all get their God given rights as already explained. Failing that world will become more and more filled with divisions and rivalries which will only increase animosities, hatred and wars so world will become more and more dangerous place for mankind as time marches forward.

Lol no. That means if "Muslims" reached them before they could save their parents from worshiping humans/idols. pr And "Muslims" doesn't worshiped humans/idols?? Only my religion shall have it's member saved from eternal torture of hellfire. Thus converting them to my religion is an act of saving them, it also justify the use of force, if it's necessary. This delusional mindset which exist predominantly (only) in Christianity and Islam indicates a strong link of relationship between the two to the extent it also qualifies to grouped them both together as 'one religion'. Islam is the next evolutionary stage of Christianity or in short Christianity 2.0.

peace Novice, all, To my knowledge "fa" does not necessarily denote a "time delay". http//corpus.quran.com/documentation/particlefa.jsp But I can see how one might think that depending on the context of usage. In 56 (based on the content) I do not see how it can mean do the things mentioned after salat is done. Can you find a translation for "salat" in 56 that would make sense if interpreting it like that? Peace Wakas Sorry for delayed response but please appreciate this is not easy to reply. The text of 56 does not say to do the things mentioned after salat is done rather it says when qumtum for salat then wash ........ Even corpus has translation "FA" as "then" http//corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=5&verse=6 FA can have other usages but in 56 words, as I understand, are saying when "qumtum" then wash .... It is really difficult to isolate this ayat from the overall concept of salat in Quran. I have to understand salat with the overall picture. I have been struggling to find satisfaction and at present I am convinced that salat is not a ritual. Still working on my understanding and ready to accept an explanation consistent and satisfactory with the overall picture.
