Isn't the whole earth blessed? Hajj should be like the Olympics where every nation gets a chance to host it. So all nations can reap the benefits that such gathering may bring. Interesting thought... It forces one to (re) think about the objective of this festivity called "Hajj". Why it was supposed to be hold in the first place.. Was it to (a) divide humanity in the line of 'believer' and 'kafr' ? and strengthen the bonding among the 'believer' ONLY. (b) unite humanity regardless of social identity? (political, religion, nationality, race,ethnicity, sect, cult, ideology etc..) or (c) provide revenue / sustenance to a certain group of people located in one specific place

It's the women who choose which men that they would like to have sexual relation with.. Now here is the interesting fact, even within such 'sexual liberal' tradition, most (not all) of the people there stay 'monogamous' or having only one sexual partner for life... Thus it seems to be that Human are generally monogamous species.. by nature.. I know about that group. Studied about them in cultural anthropology many years ago. I guess what is now written about them shows the awareness program of Chinese government is working. I mean they are more organized. I was disgusted when I first read about them. Not sure now, but at the time, my book spoke about how they practiced incest. The Chinese government wanted to introduce normal family and marriage to them. It turned out to be hard for some reason. We often miss little but important details like this when reading a translation. Everytime I read the Quran myself and look at its explanation of pure monotheism, it sounds logical to me and strengthens my faith (as the Quran says it will do), especially when I hear the so-called scholars of organized religion's explanation of monotheism - which has a lot of hidden polytheism in it which also doesn't make any sense. ?And whenever there comes down a Soorah, some of them (hypocrites) say ?Which of you has had his Faith increased by it?? As for those who believe, it has increased their Faith, and they rejoice. But as for those in whose hearts is a disease (of doubt, disbelief and hypocrisy), it will add suspicion and doubt to their suspicion, disbelief and doubt; and they die while they are disbelievers? Some are also wondering 'How do we know God is not lying?', but I believe God has placed a natural instinct within us that can recognize truth or falsehood, if we would use our reasoning. As verse 3030 of the Quran implies, recognizing God ALONE as our Lord and Master is a natural instinct. We are born into this world with such an instinct "Therefore, you shall devote yourself to the religion of strict monotheism. Such is the natural instinct placed into the people by God. Such creation of God will never change. This is the perfect religion/system, but most people do not know."

Are there other Quran alone forums that people have joined? Facebook groups etc. I created a Qur'an alone community (called subreddit) on the social media site Reddit about a year ago. We've small (at the moment, we only have a little over 200 subscribers). We only have a few active members who regularly post or comment, so most of the community consists of lurkers. Nevertheless, we've grown slowly but steady over the last year. On average I would say we gain a new subscriber or two every couple of days. I agree that Facebook is a huge outlet and those pages/groups are definitely the biggest communities.

Anything that God has given you in the best way. We shouldn't use our skills just to get money, but also use them to do something good.
