did you read a verse in the qurah surah 2 baqarah somewhere around the verse190 to 216, where it speaks of turn your faces toward this qaba also about prophet Abraham turning his face towards the heaven but now Allah will point you toward a qiblah that will please thee? also surah hajj curcumbulating the "sacred" house the book says it's sacred, what do you think about not having a direction of certainty? the earth is just a big graph you need a center point you need a (0,0) or else what direction do you have? what is east? what is north? not to start some kind of "Abrahamic longitude and latitude" but religion is the beginning of all math and science. I haven't quite completed my thought about this though it's a joking I diea I do want to explore now. also I don't think everything in the Abrahamic law is done away with that happened a lot doing the time of Christ walking about, remember that the jews have a hadith, a dictation from rabbis of old as well as a book, the torah, islam has the quran which is also holy and some add the hadith which is also "hear- say", what your speaking about was for a time the quran says for each messege is a time appointed , also it says not to defame the holy symbols of Allah in suarh hajj I believe don't quite remember where from, the ten commandments was a messege but maybe some of it is eased on muslims for the present or once again just not observed as it should be.

thank you, but I really don't have any animals at home, but I can't hold the knife and cut throat of animal! its really above my powers. I mean I have the power but I can't do it. It's very hard for me, its hard for me to explain can you pet the animal? can you pick the animal up? nevermind if you just don't have the ignorance to slay life ALLAH has created sacred then I think you should take care of more life, help a charity or something, I remember one guy brought his son to a farm where I was doing shepard work and such and we had a sufi qurabani (I still don't know what the word means) but we were all digging holes for the blood to flow into and cutting animals and shout "ALLAH Akbar" like muslim frat boys, lol. a guy shows up a bit late with his son and everyone is take the animals to be inflated with the air pump so the skin comes off easier, and he just cut his little goat " my favorite animals so far", his hands were trembling , and he could bearly hold the knife, I came over and the support is what really made the slaughter easy, I guess "mob-man tile-ity" was at play. remember the story of prophet Abraham the builder of the qabah, friend of ALLAH, and leader of our faith(we follow the ways of prophet Abraham the true in faith, the sane in faith), ALLAH sent him a dream that he had to sacrifice his son, consider the insanity of a man cutting the throat of his own flesh and blood son just because of a dream, or a few signs from ALLAH (most people doubt any god exist), consider how he would have reacted if his son did not re-affirm his faith? his son said if ALLAH says we must do this then I trust you I must be slaughtered, they built the alter and then ALLAH stopped him, similar to the force you feel when you bring the knife close to the sacrifice or maybe something greater (it's chemical, like your response to fear fight or flight, not some divine being holding back your hand like I used to think it's simplier because ALLAH planned well ahead of your birth for that exact moment and every other moment, you mind is telling you to not do it because you are not about to protect yourself for such a thing, if you were bigger stronger and more muscular you'll be more willing to both dish out force and to withstand it. if you a big strong man you have 4 ways of escaping a room picking the lock, opening the door if it's unlocked, breaking down the door, or breaking down a wall. if your weak you have two picking the lock, or just opening the door if it's unlocked.) do a few push-ups so you have the excuse you need the meat and protein to grow, also so your less afraid of dishing out force. ALLAH orders us in the quran make ready your strength to the utmost of your power....get in shape (not to insult), I wasn't that big when I was a shepherd but the meat and it's taste was more of a driving force to explain to myself why I must do this... Prophet Abraham must have been really fit and big because he had no problem fighting to save prophet lut the first time with a few of his servants or killing his own son after building an alter fit for the size of a human out of stones... a lot of strength. sorry for the long post but to sum it up you simply are afraid of dealing force because your afraid of taking force.

Nothing to comment on. Fully agreed with his interpretation of the verse. Thanks buddy. I think that when one feels uncomfortable with some of the verses in Quran, as long as he/she has the Faith in it, the answer will come forward.

Salam, all... pazuzu is the name of a demon... I just found out by looking for it... now how would a muslim or believer borrows such a name as a nick baffles me... despite wondering about what happened to pazuzu on this forum, and despite finding his work on an alternative to the islamic orthodoxies, and starting to be won over by the arguments which seem pretty convincing, on several counts (the latest of which I found out is that Yemen happens to host the biggest concentration of Mohammed's descendants in the Arab world!)... so despite all that, why is he using the name of a demon as a nick? aren't we supposed to shun demons, instead of naming ourselves after them... this is not an ad hominem, far from it, just a reflexion that if we want to be taken seriously, we need to attempt to be congruent within and without, and the choice of a label for oneself is I believe an important matter... would you take me seriously if I called myself Baal, Mephistopheles, Allat, Witch, Demon or Satan? now where the h$$l are you hiding, pazuzu? >D you mean those two priest didn't get rid of him? all crap i better watch my back and the exorist 2, lol

Peace. Quote Harry & Louise CONCLUSION Men and women could not have known these facts at the time that these verses were written. This is very strong evidence that only God (the creator) could have written the Bible. Wrong. Because something is correct in the Bible doesn?t mean that God are the author. Its true that some scriptures in the Bible are from prophet. But the Bible is more or less corruppted, and nobody with their 5 senses intact would claim that the entire Bible was written by God. What I want to say is Maybe some parts are from God, doesn?t mean that everything else is. The Bible today is a mix of so many things. Nobody can tell what the original Bible is like if there was such thing. But anyway nice Quote?s

Because ALLH owns "Jesus" (and the rest) !? Quran 517. We're not supposed to take others as 'arbab' instead of ALLH (364), The Superior/Master of the worldlings.

You asked "Will our sins/wrongdoings be forgiven just by praying for forgiveness?" The answer Maybe not. So try other methods too, like doing good rather than evil, plus asking for forgiveness repeatedly.

Finally a post which makes sense to me, thank you. Yes I have a great feeling towards Islam(Quran) and I would like to get logical and comforting answers to all of my doubts, only then I guess I will feel like a true believer. Cheers I promise you I have all the answers. I know it is a bold claim, but my Islam is beautiful. So talk to me. You can talk to me via email [email protected] and can also ask me whatever you want here. Some of the stuff I say may sound controversial but it is based in the strongest logic, logical necessity. When one reads the Qur'an in that context, it becomes almost like a fresh reading, that finally has the correct impact. The things can be hard to acknowledge though, but the resistance to the truths generally stems from facing the dark truths of reality. The end result is not an unhappy person though, but one who sees clearly and is compassionate with the right background in understanding. Almost everything I say sounds contrary to the common truisms and comforts people give, but it is all confirmed strongly in the Qur'an and even the other world scriptures, and is far away from the typical human errors in thinking. So please share what is going on, you'll find most people will respond to you with good intentions but rather stupid reactions to your fears and doubts, whereas fear and doubt can be considered beautiful gifts from Allah that enhance one's religion immensely and are a sign of great opening and progress. I love when people doubt, when they begin to question, because it can be the dawning of the destruction of secret idolatry which has resided in them unquestioned. Our religion is iconoclasm, we need to face the ridiculousness and destroy and destroy and kill and kill until we reach the Foe which can not be defeated, the Ultimate, and there we surrender. That was the religion of Ibrahim too.

Well the only wise thing to do is to ask FreedomStands because that is the only way to get a good answer. If that is not who you were asking, then that was your first mistake. Luckily, The FreedomStands is merciful, and will answer anyway! What was the question again? Oh yeah it is in the title I guess "Heaven and Hell Is it a fair deal?". Let us look upon FreedomStands, his glorious countenance as he responds golf silence No. The Answer is No. Amazing! FreedomStands answered perhaps faster than a Magic 8 Ball! How does he do it? I have the hots for him, that's for sure! Why is the answer No? Because it is not fair or just to create things and then threaten them and put them at risk. I am so sorry none of you could apparently think of that yourselves (I don't know if anyone did, I didn't read all the foolish things people were likely to have said with their lips hanging loosely). Who said God is "fair" by your definitions? God is not "fair" or "just" by normal standards, nor is God as "kind" as you might hope. The proof of that is the ignorant state you mentioned. It is immediately cruel that God has left you in your limited awareness, and you're filled with difficult questions and might even feel lost and astray. Is an of that nice? Why doesn't God simply answer your question? How would you know the answer is right? Many times the confident ones are also delusional (oh you must think that means me!) Is Heaven fair? No. Is existing fair? Nope. Is Hell fair? Nah. I'm running out ways to say Nein! Do you think my answer is wrong? Let me know how I can be wrong. God is the Ignorant one. Oh shoot, what new blasphemy has FreedomStands uttered? What knowledge did Allah have before Allah created knowledge and information? Or was the "Knowledge" and Information not created, a partner along with God? So that if Pharoah is part of information, that Pharoah was with God from the beginning? No, God is Pure, the Ignorant One, God knows NOTHING except what God generates, then it is "known" and then it becomes "unknown", and the Knowledge has no stability or eternity. In the beginning was Ignorance and God remains ignorant. What God is ignorant of, has no existence anywhere, that is evident, because if God knows something it exists, and if everything existed you would not be able to move or do anything. Thus all things are based on ignorance, without ignorance there could be no motion or action, and Ignorance is an important attribute of Allah, however despicable it seems to say it. Butifully said.

Please take a ship that sails around the world to relatively the same point it started at and then realize that even though the Earth is very very flat, that weird thing is one of the reasons people started to think it is round. Thank you for your deep concern with scientific and benefiting the world with all your knowledge (to the flat Earth people), your contributions are recognized, and they are given a beautiful metallic home, dressed in plastic, with a lid placed on top that can also be used as a drum.

A question just occurred to me The Koran does not mention anything about people who do good deeds, but have no faith. What about people who've never read the Koran but have done good all their life? What about people who don't really have any religion but keep doing good for humanity? Will they be saved? Yes there is a verse which says that the deeds of people without faith will be cancelled, but we're not explicitly told that all their good deeds, say saving people's lives etc. would be useless? Shouldn't all good people be saved? I come across so many people from other faiths who are so good and simple and honest. They never harmed anyone in their lives. What will happen to them? It's quite clear that we don't need faith to be good people. I wish the Koran said something about it.... What if things are not as "fair" as you would like them to be or hope they are? What will you do then? Have you ever considered?

The kind of sex that can result in new life. That one. -Salaam A life would require quite a bit of responsibilities, but wouldn't any social interaction require responsibilities as well? What if something you say or do ends up leading to a new life happening or not happening, or perhaps leads to the death of someone? What about methods of impregnation which don't have any contact considered sexual at all? What then is also so relevant about a human life as compared to other lives? What is the importance of life at all? Is it less of a horrific act to traumatize a fully aware adult individual by sexually involving oneself and then not being loyal, regardless of the ability to have children?

They seem a little too harsh in how they are promoting Quran only Islam. Can't deny that they have good contents, but they need citations. Without those, its hard to believe everything they are saying. Certainly not as harsh as me!
