It's actually 18 Billion years (human) vs 13 billion years (another human). There's no direct statement whatsoever in the Quran that said "The Age of this Universe so far is 18 billion years". Yes brother you're right because we don't know which layer of heaven the angels ascend to.

Salaam, I once also was overly focused on numbers, even though never completely obsessed, but I really urge people to tone down on that because it is a trap. God may show that The Master was the cause of some good through a subtle way as the show of a number, but it should not be the foundation of faith. With faith you are confident that your prayers will be answered, numbers or not. And I think that Rashad Khalifa's numerology was just an illusion now since I have realized the verse numbering is a man made insertion. My G. Grandmother got married when she was 14, but it seems that the quran is more along the lines of responsibility, you know like a regular adult thing, pay your bills, work, etc. There are some contradictory things in society itself about adulthood, age of consent and the like. In America we can send people who're 18 to kill other people, fight wars, vote, but they can't drink alcohol until they are 21. Also, if an 18 year old has sex with a 17 year old or 16 year old, it's statutory rape. Although I think the youngest age is probably 16, in one state, for allowable sexual consent. In our constitution, in the 1st Amendment it states, "No person shall be a representative who shall not have attained to the age of twenty five years..." and "No person shall be a senator who shall not have attained to the age of 30 years..." <b>I got the feeling that it is literally a conversation between Muhammad and the angel who is reciting it to him (albeit with the angel doing all the talking) and therefore most of the commandments in the Quran are for Muhammad specifically but not necessarily the rest of us. When the Quran says 'You must do/have this etc' I think it is actually just talking about Muhammad and only the bits where it starts with 'O you who believe...' are the bits that apply to all of us. The Koran was not sent for the Prophet, it was sent for all mankind, so it seems wrong to me that God would include anything in there that was just for Muhammad. Are there any examples of Muhammad being told to do something in the Koran that doesn't apply to us?

Well destiny is the idea that something is meant to happen surely, so how can it be destined that something is 'not meant to happen'? hmm Maybe this way of thinking comes from traditional controlling types who say things like 'if you're not married by (whatever) age then it's too late' But I was reading an article the other day by a woman who had put it on hold to get her Phd and didn't end up marrying til age 38, people would say that was 'too old'. But she said he was the love of her life and they then went on to have 2 healthy children, the first when she was 39 and the second at 41. She said she wouldn't have done it sooner if she'd had the choice... Really everything is wide open I think. sun

I think chewing gum should be avoided because you do actually consume the ingredients which give the chewing gum its flavour. However, using toothpaste while brushing shouldn't be a problem because you spit out the toothpaste and you don't actually consume anything. Same applies to using mouthwash.

It makes perfect sense, because the things that you guys mentioned above are true problem within their community. Peace be upon everyone, Jafar, thank you for the answers. I couldn't have said it as eloquently. I agree there is no "punishment" or "reward". There is just "experience" and "evolution", and lessons to be learned. There are "consequences" to the actions so lessons can be learned, and experiences gained which aids in our evolution to the higher states of existence finally culminating in return to the Infinite Creator. "Punishment" implies we are not part of the Creator, which makes the Creator finite and limited. Hence the logical consequence of the Infinite nature of the Creator is that we are all part of the Infinite Creator, and there is no "punishment". I don't think the original message and the original channeling of the message from the sixth density positive being Gabriel, belonging to the sixth density positive complex by the name of Yahweh, to Muhammad (himself a higher density being who came to Earth to help the 3rd density beings here in their journey back to the INFINITE ONE), contained any mention of "punishment" or "burning in hell". I am eagerly awaiting the discovery of the original copy of the message written by Muhammad the messenger himself. As far as free will and predestination is concerned, I don't believe there is any predestination. Free will was given by the Infinite Creator to the lower densities of existence to increase polarity, thereby increasing the experience. When there is no free will there is only "good" (service to others) and everything is predestined. The presence of free will automatically implies the presence and creation of "bad" (service to self) pathway which causes a polarity of "good" and "bad" and exponentially increases the various experiences, and the logical deduction is that there is no predestination. The lower density beings can use this gift of free will to either speed up their evolution to the higher density existence ("heaven&quot by choosing the service to others path, and hastening the return back to the INFINITE ONE, or can slow down ("hell&quot their evolution to the higher density existence by choosing the service to self path, thereby delaying the return ("hell&quot back to the INFINITE ONE. Remaining in the same density existence ("hell&quot is a direct "consequence" of the action of choosing the service to self path freely, and not a "punishment". The Infinite Creator is outside the bounds of space and time and can see the past, present, and future of the lower density existence at the same time. There is no actual past, present, or future in reality. Time is a consequence of the ILLUSION of separateness of the lower density existence from the Infinite Creator and only the lower densities are bound by space and time. There is a past, present, and future only from our point of view and not from the Infinite Creator's point of view. So just because the Infinite Creator knows "the future" does not mean there is predestination, or absence of free will in our 3rd density state of existence. I can give an analogy by the concept of a time machine. Suppose you use a time machine to travel to the future and see the actions of Jafar in the future, and then come back to the present. Now you know what Jafar is going to do in future, but that does not mean that Jafar did not have free will to perform his actions, or that he was predestined to perform those actions. Knowledge of "future" actions of 3rd density beings by the Infinite Creator does not mean the 3rd density beings have no free will or that they are predestined to perform their actions.
