Which translation(s) do you recommend ? I am no part of this at all but I still recommend the Free Minds translation. But mostly I recommend those who reason from the Quran and not extra Quranic ideologies. See if you have a concept that developed through the years and are born into it, you find it difficult to disbelieve it. Thus when you translate the Quran, you try to keep your preconceived concepts in tact by blindly misinterpreting the Quran. There are many examples, but you can do your own research. Peace.

i don't really see the word atraf to be more than two. but for arguments sake if we consider that the day has more than two hands " atraf " then we must also consider that the nite only engulfs the day ,so there are parts of the night that you can still see light in the sky if you look up especially in the summer and some clear winter nights . so the day is only engulfed by night . so the two "atraf" are not two ends. but they are a time where there is light with out the sun. mostly in two periods after sun set and before sun rise . and some of the night you might see light in the sky with out the sun. this could be another " taraf" in case you want to consider that atraf means more than two. please if you can bring further proof from quran that atraf should mean more than two . this plural singular in quran is very difficult to grasp ,and arabs have made sense of what they think the language is,yet quran is different one must really verify from quran and not from language. if the two atraf meet each other then we can consider them to be one taraf. it is changing according to the fact of what is happening not every day is the same. wow you made me go on booster thinking ,i really don't like that ,it takes a lot of energy from me. lol. it is the source of the pure language. i wish i knew more but it is all in the lords hands for us to see what we can ," Wa QUL RABI ZIDNI 3ILMA" the word " ATRAF" should be considered ,what might be the real translation? i think it might mean extensions ,even sometimes when one extension might meet the other ,they are extension .that is why i called atraf or taraf a hand ,an extension. i don't claim that this is true but i am thinking here. peace to you all and every one . may the lord bless humanity with his mercy.

interesting subject that may shed light on a lot of complications with our thought process in the future. the quran explains it all . 3arabi does not mean arabic but it means pure or complete. as for a3rabi it means the opposite ,has nothing do with city dwellers at all.now what does a3jami mean? if we can conclude to this then i suggest that there is another world of meaning in the quran ,one that has to do with letters and not just words. when we add a letter to a word that letter changes the meaning of the word and it has nothing to do with grammar as previously thought. eg. "el thul"= light "el thulumat"= darkness or as the quran explains it in one of the verses as the disappearance of light. see the quran explains that it is the disappearance of light and not the dark . this is really scientific. all we have to do is keep an open mind . it comes when we think about the quran and wonder with in its words. don't take that you can speak arabic that you might know quran . peace

Peace be upon ye Is the creed of Islam among quranist is ashadu AnnLar illaha illallah? How many times prayer you about your day? If you say almost the same in prayer, as one does in Sunni Islam? Possibility you will get confused if you ask questions like this. There are many theories about ritual and if you read them all, I believe you will ask common questions like "Which one I must follow", "Which one is from God". I seen many Quranites leave Islam cause unclearness within this issue. Personally I'm also confused with too many salat,hajj, fasting theories in here. Islam is easy believe in God and Judgement (262) and good deed (2177). If you in doubt, just ask Him by praying, meditation or other ways to ask Him to teach His knowledge to us.

But if it does not matter how funeral I have then it dont do so much. We don't have to be buried in a special way to get to Heaven. The Sunni way of funeral is just the Sunni way, and the Qur'an does not specify a certain way of funeral for believers. Instead, to get to Heaven we need to believe and be righteous before death, as the following verse states "The men who submit and the women who submit, the men who believe and the women who believe, the men who are devout and the women who are devout, the men who are truthful and the women who are truthful, the men who are patient and the women who are patient, the men who are humble and the women who are humble, the men who are generous and the women who are generous, the men who fast and the women who fast, the men who are chaste and the women who are chaste, the men who remember God often and the women who remember God often - for them God has prepared forgiveness and a great reward." - (3335) Also, the Qur'an makes clear that after death, there will be no chance to make amends and there will be nothing else to save us but our past "Guard yourself from a day when one person will not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from them, nor will any ransom be accepted, nor will they be helped." - (24

Is the correct translation of the verse in chapter 74 'Over it are 19' or 'over it are nine tens (90)'? Then in that case, yes, it would refer to Saqar. However, what do you make of the following verse, when it says, 'WE HAVE NOT MADE THEIR NUMBER except to disturb the believers, strengthen the faith of faithful, convince christians & jews...', Mind you Wakas, I am not attempting to shove numerological propoganda down your throat haha! What could then standing over Saqar achieve what is said in the next verse? Peace, I am immensely interested in Dariush. This king was very special and unique and seem to have been very righteous and wise. Daniel must have been either in Susa (today's south Iraq) or Persepolis (near Shiraz in modern day Iran), because this is where the king had his palaces. Daniel was not far away because it took until sunset before he was found and brought before the king and put among the lions. And meanwhile the king spent the night in his palace (Susa or Persepolis) and returned early in the following morning suggesting it was nearby. It is clear in the story that the king knew that Daniel would be unharmed. But it also seems clear that the king had to satisfy the crazy scholars or clerics of that time, although also giving them a lesson (which the arrogant fools likely never heeded anyway). I believe Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed. But it's not wrong we understand it with another tools, since Quran's language is special in format. Peace You must measure the cloth with the "Yardstick". Not the other way around. Quran, the Furqan, is the yardstick. Everything else, I mean everything, is the cloth.

Peace, As part of the path of following God's system is to be able to use God's Judgement. Might be the reason why the verses speak primarily of "those who believe" because they have part of God's ability to judge fairly due to an infusion of the so-called Holy Spirit to various degrees. Well, we all have some of it, but a few of us have more than others, and those believe. We can say it is what makes us human and being able to be on this intellectual level. And to be strong in Faith you have to be steadfast in using God's Judgement and bonding with Him. Purify and cleanse our minds of evil and open our eyes anew with a blessing of God's Knowledge and Wisdom. If we cease being mindful of God's system and oblivious of the world around us and live like it was more than a temporary illusion, then we will have more of it, but if we fight our ego and contribute to the purification and stay in contact with our Lord we will be happier now but in the next world we will be even happier. A utopia in God's eyes will establish a system of Justice and judge according to His Will and for that one needs to be good-hearted and unselfish since the ego and Satan are our worst problems. Possessions do not have any particular value and will not bring us closer to God and should be shared among the people and we shall not hold on to them dearly. Will you sleep on a king-size bed when your neighbor sleeps on the floor? Personally I sleep on the floor and have a scarcely decorated smaller apartment and not that I cannot afford a bed but my poor brother next door can have the funds instead of having a bed. Bedrolls for the win. Do I suffer on the floor? No I sleep perfectly at night. Try to think about all comforts for a day and see how enslaving they are. Think if everyone thought like this and everyone in this world could sleep on king-size beds and it was no big deal. Now I know this was off-topic and I apologize. If everyone deemed adultery as the shameful deed it is there would not be any need to have this discussion. The adulterer will have to answer to The Lord directly so punishment is not really required. And the bad we do will have its requital in this life and we will feel unhappier. An adulterer is not happy within his/her soul and will drift away from God in favor. It is punishment enough in my humble opinion, but do you want to punish them more? 100 flogs is nothing compared to the eternal blaze of Hell. And adultery is about breaking an oath which you have sworn to keep, the most solemn pledge. The punishment is for that trust you broke rather than secretly lay with you neighbor's wife/man. Your own deeds you can answer for yourself to God, but if you hurt a person then Justice must be upheld. The victim of adultery is as if he/she got a knife in the heart. So there you have the reason for punishment if any. But if they parted ways amicably beforehand then it the oath was relieved first. But if the culprit repents and reforms then it shall be forgiven. Forgiving can be hard, but it is the best solution. Revenge is futile and when you in your mind see the person in Hell then perhaps you hatred will change into compassion. God bless you

Interesting thought, If border = Nation's Border My answer will be NO WE DO NOT NEED IT Most human doesn't like (national) border while some human does. (Read politician, king, dictator as marker for area of their authority). The decaying of national border (thus the decay of Nationalism) is a 'work in progress'. The inception of "Federated Nation" such as Europe Union (EU), ASEAN etc.. is a good example of that. Free Trade Agreement between nation is another good example. (NAFTA, AFTA, ACFTA etc..) The benefit is self-evident It's 'less likely' for member country within such federation to be involve in a war against each others (e.g. France vs Germany, Malaysia vs Indonesia etc). They will realize war will not bring any benefits while cooperating with each others shall bring multitude of benefits. In the future, we will witness the expansion of such federation... Having said that, human still need individual / group property border. As a marker of; their home (private area), their ranch/farm, their office etc.. And that one shall not go away any time soon..
