However Moses was given the book, so the people of Moses, Beni Israeel were given the book. Are they not the people of the book -of Moses-? Now do you mean it was Isa who was given the scripture/book/Injeel? so the people of ISA were given the book. Are they not the people of the book of Isa? By the way to me Jesus in English is Isa in Arabic. Same with The last prophet-Mohammed- .He was given the Qoran. His followers/people are they not the people of the book of Mohammed? This is a fact, so me or others, calling them Jews, Christians or Muslims is irrelevant and does not alter the fact that the three peoples above are people of the book /scripture .i.e they were given the book/scripture. As clear as day, people given the book are also people of the book. Sorry brother what you say does not make sense considering the above. Or may be what I say does not make sense to you?. GOD bless you. Peace Don't bother asking him goodlogic... Everyone has answer in Quran... Read below verse carefully for the answer of highlighted question. .. 4153 The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.
  • What exactly were the two angels sent to teach??

The angels were not sent to teach anything. It was a story created by Jews at the time of Prophet Suleman to deceive people. This long verse of Chapter 2 has three parts. One of them is to negate the story of Jews. First part of Chapter 2 verse 102 وَاتَّبَعُوا مَا تَتْلُو الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَٰكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ This is easy to understand as the Satans in this part of the verse were the Jews at that time who were teaching magic or sorcery to people. It is worth mentioning here that the Arabic word "AS-SEHR" means to turn something away from truth to untruth and figuratively it means to represent falsehood as truth, difficult to separate facts from fiction. Second part of the verse (The negation of the Jews story about two angels) وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ ۚ The مَا (maa) in this part of the verse is not a relative pronoun as understood by most of the commentators but a negative particle to negate the whole story of the Jews regarding two angels. Neither angels were sent by Allah to teach people As-Sehr or any other thing, nor they say we are a trial but they still learn from them. Finally, the third part is connected with the first one Now if you connect the first part of the verse to the third part, it makes perfect sense. Peace.. Everyone.. . Allah has informed three names of those who are not human... They are Jibreal, Miechael and Ibleas.. Other than those three I don't see any names of Nonehuman(who are /were part of heaven) names... Magic is not part of God's work.. God doesn't need magic while it is evil and very lowly.. So who are these Harun and Marut.. Yes they most probably two Kings or vast Babylonian regions(Mesopotamia)... This is the work of Jinn but in the status of Satan (evil ones).. It has come to Sulaiman but he never believed in it and never learned it.. But Kings Harot and Marut learned it but they didn't disbelieve in God but as Kinga they told folks not to disbelive in God.. They clearly pointed out it can be a huge trail over you.. But curiosity of people who fall in to the trap of Satan always choose wrong path.. They learned it which Kings knew.. Harut and Marut as Kings must have been interested in having that art of magic but they knew it is not good.. Allah has nothing to do with this.. If Harut and Marut were Malakain (two angels) then verse itself is wrong.. Note angels do descend with command /messages / actions towards Earth to accomplish it.. But verses states.. It decended to two malakain in Babylon... So these two Harut and Marut on the Earth in Babylonia and the magic decended on them ... Yes it decended two these two human being (Kings) from Satan.. Same thing decended to Sulaiman but he ddint accept and believe in it.. Allah vehemently dislike magic and why should Allah teach magic through his angels to people? Is Allah a magician and teaches evil to people and put the blame on people ? No way.. Allah and Evil has far distance.. That's my understanding as of now.. .. Don't forget SATAN has the ability to DECEND.. satan decends with evil.. 26221-222.. Here in 2102 It decended from Satan TO two Kings (malakain) namely Harut and Marut.. But they knew it was Shihr but they didn't leave it without learning it while Sulaiman outright rejected and disbelived shihr.. M-L-K in Arabic not only Controllers /Angels but King , Power etc etc.. . Ponder.. Did Allah teach Shirk /Assocoation to humanbeing? Why would? But Satan taught shirk to people.. Sameway.. Shihr/magic or black magic whatever evil were taught by Satan to human whoever incline to it..

Just to support Tanveer's point in 2006's discussion. There was a claim if there is a verse forbidding marrying 2 sister at the same time then polygamy should be ok, because if polygamy is forbidden then what is the logic of mentioning 2 sisters case. Good question. Until two cerses about alcohol; alcohol is evil, and don't practice salat while drunken. If alcohol is forbidden what is the point of mentioning don't salat with alcohol? I don't know. But it is there. Kust like 2 sisters.
  • WHY IBLIS CANNOT BE AN ANGEL...

Dhulqarnain, Your said Here, the individual, insists upon asserting that Iblis was called an angel, yet, posted no ayat where, Allah, calls him an angel. However, in the following ayat, Allah, does call Iblis a JINN. There is no need to give any other aya; The aya (234) itself has sufficient proof. The grammatical structure and context of the aya made it enough to prove that Iblis was an angel. I don’t know how much you are familiar with the Arabic language, but the aya is clear that the command was addressed to only angels and no other creatures. The Arabic word “LIL-MALAIKA” makes it clear the receiver of the command was only and only angels. 18.50 And when We said to the angels Make obeisance to Adam; they made obeisance but Iblis (did it not). He was of the JINN, so he rebelled against his Lord's. What! would you then take him and his offspring for friends rather than Me, and they are your enemies? Evil is (this) change for the unjust. It is a very weak argument. I can show you from the Quran that Allah also used the word “JINN” for angels as well. The word Jinn in Arabic has very vast meaning. I am sure you have already checked it in the dictionary. I don’t want to go in details, otherwise it would take a lot of time. Allah called angels “Jinn” in Chapter 37 verse 158. You said In the following ayat, Allah, tells us the nature of the JINN and, states that, He created them of fire 15.27 And the JINN We created before, of intensely hot fire. Wrong! The ayat never ever tells us the nature of “Jinn” instead of Allah states that, He created AL-JAAN of fire. The ayat is very clear, no ambiguity. Look at the Arabic word in the original text, it is AL-JAAN not AL-Jinn, two different Arabic words. You said In the following ayat, Allah, tells us that, Iblis, once again, was created from fire. 38.76 He said I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. Wrong again dear! Following statement was not from Allah. It was the statement from Iblis. If I make a statement and you quote it in your book, doesn’t mean that you agree with it. Rather, you are just quoting it to make an argument or give information to your readers. By quoting someone’s statement doesn’t make it true. Let me give you example from the Quran In chapter 12 verse 8, Joseph’s brothers stated that their father suffering from mental aberration. Do you think this statement is from Allah? Iblis statement that he created him from fire was his statement that is quoted by Allah in his book that could be right or wrong. However, if you read the Quran nowhere Allah states that he created him from fire, however, he did mentioned that he created Adam from dust. Now, no ayat, repeat, no ayat, tell us the nature of the angels, none. Allah, never calls Iblis an angel nor does He state, anywhere, that the angels were created of a fire of a scorching wind, as some indviduals assert. I agree with you that nature of angels are not discussed in the great reading, however, your statement Allah never calls Iblis an angel is wrong. I have already addressed this in my earlier reply. It is also true nowhere it states that Angels are created from scorching wind. Now consider the following ayats. 16.49 And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride. 16.50 They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded. Every ayt has a specific context. Considering the context around above mentioned ayat I agree the statements. Having said that, those ayat again do not lend any support of your argument but goes against it. Malaika are not only the forces which act in the external affairs of this world; they also influence men’s internal (Psychological) life as evident in Chapter 41 verse 30 of the Quran. So, due to limited understanding of the word “Malaika” resulted in the confusion to understand the verse we are discussing here. Now, Allah, cannot be talking about the JINN and men here, because they both have, at times, refused to carry out Allah's command. So, what creatures then, always carry out Allah's commands?---the non-human creatures and the angels. I agree that based on the context your statement is true. Clearly, Iblis, cannot be an angel, because he refused to carry out Allah's command to bow. Now, to continue to suggest or stand by 234, as saying that Iblis is one of the angels and that he refused to follow Allah's command and bow down, is to then set up a contradiction between 234 and 16 50. Al-Qur'an cannot contradict itself, hence, once again, the evidence is against the notion that Iblis was an angel. Here again you have made an error. Like I said it before the Arabic word “Al-Jinn” has several meanings. Its linguistic meanings include Angel, Al-Jaan, Nafs (نَفْس), invisible forces in the Universe etc as they all are hidden from human eyes. The Quran also uses them in a same manner. The story of Adam relates to the human race as a whole. There is only one creature in this Universe that disobey Allah that is human. The word Jinn in Chapter 18 verse 50 relates to human Nafs. According to the Quran, it has three states and one of the states mentioned in Chapter 12 verse 53 “verily, man's inner self does incite to evil”. It was that inner self which was called “Jinn” in Chapter 18 as you quoted in your argument. If Allah didn't ask the JINN to bow directly, then what does that tell us? yeah, the JINN, Iblis included, KNEW that the command also extended to THEM. Given the amount of Qur'anic facts about the JINN and angels, no other explanation makes sense. Any evidence from the Quran to support your statement? The grammatical structure of the sentences, the Arabic meaning of the words, context and the understanding of Arabic language makes your explanation no sense. You need to re-visit your understanding and validate it according to the new evidences I provided in my reply. For anyone to assert that Iblis was an angel, hence, the the angels were created of fire as well or that Iblis was an angel and then became a JINN, as one individual continues to assert, when he refused to bow, contradicts the ayat which states he was created from fire from the beginning and, not that he became a being of fire because he rebelled. These individuals and those of like mind, at best, can only offer allusion/conjecture/extrapolation for evidence , but no Qur'anic evidence. The ayats which I posted, clearly and unmistakenly tell us what Iblis was called by Allah...a JINN. I have given you Quranic evidences that is clearly states that Iblis was never ever called by Allah a Jinn.

The test started with the first human. Deviation from GOD s guidance also started from way back before the Persians or Romans or... Every generation has its deviators. We must learn a lesson from the past , and accept that we can also be at fault . GOD s guidance is an open invitation to every human .Judging therefore , as far as we are concerned, can only be done by GOD Alone. Past generations have what they worked for and we have what we work for. Every generation has its own good and bad , its believers and disbelievers, its mixture of the sincere and the pretender . We all have the potential to be in either side.Aware or unaware. We can only try our best to work to save our own neck. It is a hard task being tested.. Love in the hearts can work wonder for us by teaching us forgiveness and tolerance. for all our brothers and sisters. May the Lord shower us all with HIS mercy and forgiveness GOD bless you all.. The news about the arrival of the Last Messenger of Allah the Exalted given to the Posterity of Iesraa'eel explicitly disclosed that he would be an Arab. This was explicit from disclosure of his name "Aehmad" which is exclusively Arabic word. This seems to be the only reason to migrate to al-Ḥijāz and become Arabized. وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُـمْ كِتَٟبٚ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ Know their conduct in Hejaz As soon the book came to them (Posterity of Iesraa'eel alai'his'slaam) characterized by transcription in Arabic (Qur’ān) from Allah the Exalted; — مُصَدِّقٚ لِّمَا مَعَهُـمْ Another characteristic of this Book is it is Testifier-Affirmer-Certifier-Sanctifier of that they read in the book with them — وَكَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَـى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟ They did so despite their state in earlier time line they were desperately praying-aspiring for comprehensive victory over those who had refused to believe in Tora'at and adopting Judaism. فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُـم مَّا عَـرَفُوا۟ كَفَـرُوا۟ بِهِۦۚ Thereby, as soon that came to them they did recognize it. But they refused to accept it. فَلَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَـى ٱلْـكَـٟفِرِينَ.٨٩ Consequently, the Condemnation and discard of Allah the Exalted is hovering upon those who have refused to accept Qur’ān. The nature of Bani Iesraa'eel and their psychology is explicitly portrayed. Before the arrival and proclamation of the Last Messenger and revelation of Qur’ān; the people they considered infidels were Arabs. They wanted and desired decisive superiority and victory over the infidels. They were waiting for the coming of the Last Messenger and the Divine Book in Arabic in the deep desire of gaining victory in every aspect of life over those whom they thought infidels. The said information and desire was focus of emigration and becoming Arabized hoping the Last Messenger will be their genetic descendant under influence of Grandiose delusions also known as delusions of grandeur or expansive delusions. They have exaggerated beliefs of self-worth, identity and exceptional relationship with the God (Allah the Exalted).

peace, obviously like changing this part of 423 or that thou cohabit ye of between the sisters two aw an tajmaʿū bayna l-ukh'tayni wa-an tajmaʿū bayna l-ukh'tayni warsh et al would disagree and/or early scribes 100+ years before him waqāla fir'ʿawnu dharūnī aqtul mūsā walyadʿu rabbahu innī akhāfu an yubaddila dīnakum wa-an yuẓ'hira fī l-arḍi l-fasāda aw an yuẓ'hira fī l-arḍi l-fasāda In 423, Aw cannot be the choice. It is part of compound complex sentence conjunct by waw. وَأَن تَجْـمَعُوا۟ بَيْـنَ ٱلۡأُخْتَيْـنِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَۗ In addition, it is also prohibited that you might join-simultaneously collect two sisters in your Nikah/Matrimonial bond. However, that which has happened in the past that is a past-retrospective matter — اور اس کی بھی حرمت و تحریم ہے کہ اپنے نکاح میں دو بہنوں کو مجتمع کرو۔یہ فوری نافذ العمل ہوگااس کا اطلاق ماضی میں جو ہو گیا اس پر نہیں ہوگا It is وَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُـمْ أَن تَجْـمَعُوا۟ بَيْـنَ ٱلۡأُخْتَيْـنِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَۗ

peace, 'cite' requires there to be someone to cite to, who's lawful role and application involves concerning himselves with the interpersonal relationships between husbands and wives even in 7th century tribal and village Arabia context, and that it makes sense that a husband would be invoking such an authority in his tribe or village, in the case he fears nushuz from his wife. I'm a little confused as ii seems like you are agreeing that "cite" is a possibility.

It is Adjective resembling participle derived from Verbal Noun نَبْوَةٌ and نَبَاوَةٌ Definite; Sound Plural; Masculine; genitive; on the measure "فَعِيلٌ". Adjective resembling participle, or termed as Verbal Adjective, is a noun derived from an intransitive verb. Its pattern is at variance with the pattern of Active Participles and Passive Participles, it is known by usage. Resembling participle is that noun which indicates on the root meaning being an attribute. And this attribute is usually perpetual or intrinsic. The Adjective governs with the government of its verb, without exception, with the condition of dependencies as is the case in Active Participles. When another word is governed with Adjective resembling participle in the nominative state, there is no pronoun in the Adjective. When the governed word is accusative or genitive, then there is a pronoun in the modified-noun. It denotes many Men who had the attribute signified by the Verb, Verbal Noun and Root " ن ب و" from where it is derived. The basic perception infolded in the Root, in the words of Ibn Faris (مقاييس اللغة) النون والباء والحرف المعتلّ أصلٌ صحيح يدلُّ على ارتفاعٍ في الشيء عن غَيره أو تَنحٍّ عنه That it leads to the perception of eminence, elevation, ascension, exaltation of something in relation to others, or distinguished from others.

Saahib is one who's life or movement is stick to somebody or some place. It can mean "a companion" of somebody, or "a resident" of some place. I think it's more correct generally to understand this as "one who's spending life or moves with somebody or in some place". It's not an adjective, but active participle, so it's not prolonged, lasts only under a certain conditions (i.e. Saahiba is a wife - one who's living with husband - while marriage lasts). If el-Hoot is "a fish" or "a whale", then it's one who was spending his life with or within it, but I think it's about a jail on a ship he was on.
