I'm sorry el aziz, but I couldn't catch what you mean, especially by ''the quest for G- d ''. So please make your idea more clear if possible, then we can talk about it.

Peace, "Quran" in this context does not aim at the book that is nowadays known as "the Koran". Correct. There are signs that relate what the messenger used for guidance, only, such as 619 and 5045 and 1745. These are good proof against the need for the fabricated hadith used by seclarists.

Those with Muhammad (s.a.w) establish the taurat (law) and (injeel, confirmation of the law and resulting good news) and 4829, mentions their example by virtue of their behavior. "If only they had established the Law and the Good news (confirmation of law), and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, then they would have indeed consumed (sustenance) from above them and from below their feet. And among them are a balanced community, but their majority do ill acts." Al Maida 566 Rizq (sustenance) from Allah will flow over you if you establish the taurat and injeel as per above promise in the ayat. 4829 gives their (Muhammad's companions) behavior as an example in the law and the good news, as they practise the law. the reply i posted at the IIPC forum first, i had asked about the 4829's example about Muhammad in the taurat . 566 doesnt mention that example . second , according to the lecture , taurat is the law giving/muhkam parts of the kitab . but Muhammad's example is a description . now also according to the lectures the 'mutashabihat ayat/ahsan al hadees' ayat contains the descriptions , not muhkam ayat . this seems like a contradiction . how can the muhkam ayat/taurat contain descriptions about Muhammad ? thanks and salam.

your transyou are adding a lot of words to bring about your interpretation even though we all know a place doesn't harm anybody! at all. 9107 And those who TOOK a PLACE OF SUBMITTING(as a tool for) harming, and disbelief, and separation/distinction between the believers, and (as) a watch/observation/ambuscade (ambush place/shelter) to who battled/fought God and His messenger from before, and they swear/take oath "That we wanted/intended except the best/goodness ." And God witnesses/testifies that they truly are lying/denying . Actual trans And as for those they took a submission/acceptance by way of harming and disbelief and to disunite (between) the believers and as a band of watcher lying in wait for those who warred Allah and His messenger sforetime and they will indeed swear that we want but good and Allah bears witness that they are certainly liers. all your other verses you have quoted are all simerlarly floored. But you stick with them. God Bless us.

peace Ahmed, I disagree with you when you said that tasbeeh can only be done by words please note that the order "Kabbar" is identical to the Order "Sabbah" both can only be done by words I think it is not only verbal tasbeeh. well, i have to say that the angels have no choices therefore their tasbih is not opposed to shedding blood , tather an expressions that they do whatever Allah told them to do, one of these things is glorfying him by Tasbeeh, the Quran clearly showed us that the Tasbeeh is a saying action by different creatures. I respect your understanding but I don't share it. We can diverge in our understanding and reading of the Reading. The God knows best there is an article that i'm preparing now which which will tackle this problem I will be glad to read it. Thanks Peace

Yes this is true that we are allowed to manfacturer schemes but ONLY if it is for the truth and Haqq to be exposed and a big lesson is given, so not in our favours rather for the Truth favour In that scenario you have to take the situation, context and several factors into account. Whatever one decides,it should be decided on with, wisdom, conscience, knowledge of the potential consequences to yourself and the family of the deceased, the effect on society... Salams enquirer/AhmedBahgat Well said both of you ... I have learnt a great deal. Stories and parables mentioned in Quran attacks my attention a lot. Chapter 12 is an incredible story indeed, replete with wisdom.

Peace be upon you Ahmed I don't get you bro, would that mean to you that messengers are males/females or males only? Messsengers are male, female, animals, thoughts, etc. They are symbolized as MALES in the message to reflect the male principle. Knowledge comes from the understanding of PAIRS, how else can you get balanced without understanding the pairs? There is so much wisdom in the yin and yang of life.

Salaam Ahmed, Pazuzu, all, Sorry for the late reply. I just finished my wedding ceremonies. Thus, I was burdened with a lot of works First of all, thanks a lot to both of you for giving me the explanations. I am currently reviewing my understanding about the creation process and the story about our beginnings. Thus, I think a better understanding of these words may be important. Well, better continue first after being held for a couple of days. Perhaps I will have something else to ask you both. =adley= please note bro that i did a mistake, i thought you mean Najl by Ragul, i always found reading arabic words in english letters too hard for me, in fact up till now I don't know what the hell is the 3 that most of the time they include in their english aranic words anyway brother pzu comment should have fixed my error peace

Yes. It's called Al-Mu'jam al-Mufahras It's basically an index of every word that appears in the Reading. For example If you wanted to look up the word "sun" (shams), you would flip to the header of letter "sh" , and soon you'll find every verse in which the word "shams" appears. It makes it easy to locate words in the Reading. The man who compiled it has done a great service to Islam.

Al-uzza=honour(or excess pride.). Al-mannat=desire.(in excess.) I believe he makes valid points. He deciphers the terms from the arabic.(well normally he does.) You can see all these three in the real current world, and they would have been valid in the prophets time as well. Allat, almannat and aluzzah were pagan Arab (pre-Islamic) goddesses worshipped for their beauty, strength, honor, desire, etc. They were deemed as daughters of Allah (the cheif god), statues erected and idol-worshipped. Allah is masculine and Allat is feminine.

As Salaam Alaikum, Well there can be many reasons as to why. For instance in the U.S.A., in some states (if not most or all), half of the money goes to the spouse and the other half must be split with the children. Making a will can protect us against this type of split up. Along with that, the Quran deals with numbers... It does not deal with material. And material can be divided in many different ways. Perfect example. I have two things that make up my estate and the only people rightfully eligable to inherit are my son and aughter and they are the only ones that I want to inherit from me (in other words I'm only giving my stuff to my children and no one else) That means my son will get 2/3rds of all of my estate and my daughter a third of all of my estate (after debts and stuff are paid off). I have a business which is worth 2/3rds of my estate and land worth just a 3rd. I can easily say "My son ges the business and my daughter gets the land". BUT, hey! what if I want my daughter to run the business as well? I'll say "I give half of my business to my daughter and half to my son. I also leave my son with the land." My son would still end up getting the 2/3rds which is rightfuly his and my daughter will get the 3rd which is rightfully hers. Also, the verse you are referring to, i believe, is also dealing with honesty and people swearing that they are going to tell what is rightfully whose... and not hiding from the rightful inheritors estates and stuff. So having a will can also say what is all that you have. Making sure that your inheritors know what was all that you owned when you died. This can prevent you from having to depend on others to make sure that they tell folks that you have a house somewhere up in the mountains... i guess. hehe Also even more... say that my kids were the only people who had the right to my will... but I want to give some of my stuff to my close friends as well. I will need a will to make that intention specific and I will divde up from there... Maybe I'll give my son 50%, my daughter 25%, and then give the other 25 to whoever else I like.

Peace All, Im probably going to be of no help but I see it like this "And We sent down the Book to thee for the express purpose, that thou shouldst make clear to them those things in which they differ, and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe." 1664 Muhammads purpose was to deliver and to explain or make clear from the Quran the things/opinions that the people differed in..and to show/tell them that the Quran should be our guide.. It doesnt say that Muhammad would have extra writtings or teachings etc..The Quran makes it clear that the only things Muhammad should speak(on religious matters) were the words of the Quran..Ane even if there were hadiths that survived that were written in his lifetime,we could only look to them as historical and nothing more..Unless some of the words were direct quotes from the Quran, then we wouldnt really be following the Hadith but the Quran.

What I meant was that every single Islamic historian in the world does not hold on to the coattails of Hadeeth. Can't speak on every single one, but the majority, and everyone work that I've seen has hung on the coattails of Hadeeth. Godbless, Anwar

Salaam Claurianta Re 2256 " There is No Compulsion in ..... ", I think the Verse Is Clear Enough ( un-Umbiguous ) That we must not Use any Force to get people to join Our Diin , Nor do we Compell anyone to accept our Opinion. However , 2256 does not Preclude us from Striving to Intellectually Persuade others to see a 'Reasoned Argument' based on Logic backed by Evidence from The Scripture , Be it The Torah, The Injeel or the Qur?n. If you check out 383 ( Everything in the Universe Submit to God Willingly or Un-Willingly ) , I think it will assist your Understanding regarding No Compulsion in Religion . I am sure most of the People in FM Came here Because of the Strength of Arguments and Evidence Presented here. I know that is The Reason why I have Migrated To God Only Form of Islam . Cheers almarh0m

EDITED well bro it it said that it happened about 1400 years ago, how it can't be a tale of the ancient for us in year 2006? salam bro . by 'tales of ancient' , i meant the tale of badr . has anyone here watched Muhammad Shiekh's lecture on 'zakat/sadaqah' ? actually he gave a different explanation of this verse and i have forgotten it . i will have to wait to get the lecture DVD back from my friend so i can look it up . that is why i asked this question here .
  • MA MALAKAT AYMANUKUM -what is that?

What I understand from "the great reading" is that the expression MA MALAKAT AYMAN/UKUM,UHUM,UHUNNA means either one of these two groups of people (1)females whom men have taken in wedlock by a special oath (236; 3070; 3350; 3352) (2)males and females whom well-to-do people have taken under their protection by oath (43,24,25,36; 1671; 2431,33,58; 3028; 3355) So the translations of the verses containing the expression change accordingly from the classical translations, as is seen in 43, 424, 425, 235-6, 3350, adn 3352. 43 If you fear that you will not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry (off the orphan) women who authorize you, two or three or four (each to a man), but if in this case you fear that you will fail to be equtible, then only one or WHOM YOU HAVE TAKEN UNDER YOUR PROTECTION BY OATH. That will be better for you in order to avoid falling into poverty. 424 And the protected believing women except those WHOM YOU HAVE TAKEN UNDER YOUR PROTECTION BY OATH. This is God?s ordinance binding upon you. Beyond this, lawful to you is all the rest provided that you offer them of your possessions, behaving decently rather than indecenly, giving them the dower due to them in return for the benefits you derive from them; however, if you mutually agree to make changes afterwards there is no blame on any of you. Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. 425 If men from among you do not have the means wherewith to marry self-protected believing women, give those men in wedlock the believing girls WHOM YOU HAVE TAKEN UNDER YOUR PROTECTION BY OATH. Allah has full knowledge of your faith; you are all equal. Marry them with the leave of their PROTECTORS, and give them their dowers; in a manner decent not indecent, nor indulging in secret relationships; and if they commit indecency when they are in Islam, their punishment is half the punishmet meted to self-protected believing women. This is for those among you who fear sin; but it is better for you to practise self-restraint. And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 235-6 Believers are those who conceal their genital organs except from their spouses or from THOSE WHOM THEY HAVE TAKEN IN WEDLOCK BY A SPECIAL OATH, due to whom they are not blamed. 33.050 O Prophet! We have made lawful to you your wives to whom thou have paid their dowers; and THOSE WHOM YOU HAVE TAKEN IN WEDLOCK BY A SPECIAL OATH from among those whom Allah has assigned to you; and the daughters, who migrated with you, of your paternal uncles and aunts and of your maternal uncles and aunts; and any believing woman who gives herself up to the Prophet if the Prophet agrees to take her in wedlock and this being only for you rather than the believers at large. We know what We have appointed for the believers as to their wives and THOSE WHOM THEY HAVE TAKEN IN WEDLOCK BY A SPECIAL OATH; so that there should be no difficulty for you. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 033.052 (O Prophet!) No other women shall henceforth be lawful to you, nor are you allowed to replace your present wives by them even if their beauty pleases you, except THOSE WHOM YOU HAVE TAKEN IN WEDLOCK BY A SPECIAL OATH. Allah does watch over all things. Peace, Hasan Ak?ay

?I see. How do you know it wasn't ash-shaitaan whispering to you instead of Allah?? I would like to add some thougts I have had about this subject. The whispers are the media. Subliminal programming, programmed music, we even call the tv shows....programs. What is a program then? To include or schedule in a program program a new musical composition. To design a program for; schedule the activities of. To provide (a machine) with a set of coded working instructions. To train to perform automatically in a desired way, as if programming a machine programmed the children to use perfect table manners. To prepare an instructional sequence for (material to be taught) in programmed instruction. now why would our masters, call our "entertainment" that we currently spend on average 6 hours a day in front ...programs? Are they mocking us I wonder? And when you start to wonder about things like that. You start to realise that you have been had. suddenly you hear the "whispers" as booming voices, and you see darkness and corruption everywhere, and you start to panic. Now you start o listen to God, thats how scared you become. Now you are ready to get inspiration directly, the message that was preserved as promised. And untill you understand excactly what i mean with the above said, This whole discission is void, because you just dont get it brother untill you let go of your idol (a mental construct in your head). The Quran was the key to my journey, but i understand now that it is not the answer itself. "You recite it, we explain it" indeed. peace
