Nun in the last is mood indicator Indicative and its absence is the indicator of the verb being either in jussive or subjunctive mood, determined by the context. Nun is otherwise pronoun for feminine plural subject of the verb as is the case in the verb under discussion. In first feminine verb Waw is the original radical of the Root while Waw in masculine verb is the subject pronoun for third person masculine plural and Noon is mood indicator. Salam everyone I have been discussing the role of women in life with my colleagues, when one of them mentioned verse 20117 as a proof that women's role is limited to housework and children care. The verse says And when We said unto the angels Fall prostrate before Adam, they fell prostrate (all) save Iblis; he refused. Therefor we said O Adam! This is an enemy unto thee and unto thy wife, so let him not drive you both out of the Garden so that thou come to toil (tashqa). (20116-117) God warns Adam from Iblees, that the latter might take him and his wife both out of the garden. In the second part of the verse God says that Adam will experience hardship once he is led out of the garden (thou come to toil). This hardship is taken to mean physical work by many interpreters. The word tashqa here is in the singular form, if God refers to both Adam and his wife it would be tashqayan . The question is, why don't Adam and his wife both experience hardship? Why was hardship only experienced by Adam, who happens to be a male? Thank you! Salaam, Little Mannie, Indeed, be it to overdress or undress it seems that our bodies are a matter of public property. But God, does not indicate any such thing. His injonction in 24.31 specifically to women is for the benefit of women, not for the benefit of males. They have their own injonctions. 24.31 does not establish a dressing code, as has been insistently attempted to extract from this aya, but an advice to women, exclusively to them to not fall into the trap of "feminine vanity", we have to be liked by hook or crook. It is not about what can be seen or not seen, or cover or not cover, but about the whole attitude of women with respect to their physical appearance, be it in the shape of body parts or other, like jewellry or clothing or make up or whatever. We are not public shows or entertainment and we would harm ourselves if we took us so. But there is nothing wrong with improving appearance by means of our clothing without discomfort. Clothing, as per the Qur'an, is to make comfortable and feel in good appearance. Women, through the ages have put up with awful discomfort for the sake of appearance to the point of torture. That is not what clothes are for. And inventions like hijab, burqa, etc. are not particularly comfortable and can impair physical functions. For instance, if one is somewhat deaf, covering ears is a handicap. There is no reason to accept that kind of disciplining or nonsense. The fact that as per 24.31 women may display, or parade, adornments in from of certain people close to them, is logical, those who are too close and live in the same house, are not going to be impressed by any adornments nor flatter dangerously their women's vanity, nor they would feel obliged to please them. As somebody says there is no great man for his buttler. So there may be no great beauties for those close to oneself. One knows them too close. Salaam bravo

I personally have a problem with the physical "salat" because it reminds me too much of the instruments of corrupt states. The example that comes to mind is the dang pledge of allegiance I had to make every single day in school growing up. I absolutely hated it! I thought it was an utter waste of time, and even today, the words lose their meaning if I have to robotically repeat the same thing over and over. Make no mistake, I am very American and I have developed a certain sense of inner solidarity for anybody who takes seriously the cause of liberty. But it had absolutely nothing to do with saluting a piece of fabric! i care more about civil liberties now than i did when i was a mindless drone making half-assed prayers "to the flag..." What the government does (and has done) in this country, is just ridiculous. This annoying pledge of allegiance is just the tip of the iceberg, and i really believe that this form of indoctrination is being used to dehumanize, degrade, and desensitize people to what liberty actually is, and to isolate those who really do care about liberty from those who just care about "one nation, indivisible". To me the subject could also be compared to the infamous scandals in this country regarding the use of torture to obtain intelligence. It is just as absurd, ineffective, and dehumanizing. Sorry for the rant

From the above verse, the ka'ba, which means cube, is a place where the sacrificial animal is to be slaughter. The Holy Quran also mentioned in 2233 In them ye have benefits for a term appointed in the end their place of sacrifice is near the Ancient House. No one does that anymore except worshipping the cube... nope

For example in the case of Qoran you start from sura 1 and you study every word, every sentence ,every verse... and keep going until you get to sura 114... Then start again... or start from wherever you want to ,providing you go through all the book.Compare translations, words, contexts... while you are studying... This kind of answers, what I actually mean. Yes my method is like that and if not bothering you, you can explain that more detail. Only in this case you are starting a journey, do not rush it... Persevere... keep on again... and again... Thanks for the advice, but actually I'm not a starter. I already embrance Quran Alone/God Alone for long time as well as studying Quran. maybe our excellent model Abraham left his house to his dearest of friends? the friend who helped in while in the furnance? maybe he instructed his sons to as well? if your bet bird makes you a nest and another bird took it would you really be so angry as to climb a tree to the highest hieght to re claim it? or consider the new bird just a reciever of mercy from ALLAH?

worlds and universes are two different words. to be in "your own world" is one thing and to be in "your own universe" is something very undefined

Prophet Musa had a speech impediment which is why he asked for his brother Aaron to help speak for him. those people were vexing him, like in those movies where they make fun of people who studder. they were insulting him they did worship a calf so how much did they believe after they were safe and free?

if you like this ayat read the bibilical preaching of prophet Isa, he goes into depth expounding the parable to his helpers in the cause of ALLAH i think it's the book of matthew but i like peters book more.

die in what sense...return to nothing? recall the ayat of Maryam, where she was giving birth to Prophet isa? what did she ask for? if we can pen-point the soul we can probably answer this but i'm just replying with a slight answer ALLAH knows best and i'm not sure who would want to find out.
