You could start with a search. Just put in restricted months and it'll give you lots of threads/reading material/previous discussions.

So then what are these five pillars of Islam? Why these sajdas? Which as a root means, "he became lowly, mean, base, bending himself down". Every meaning with negative connotations. How come, he could have commanded this? Additionally, care to comment on this. What is the verb root? What is the verb here? and what is the verb root in this word under question? Peace, Badar

oh! I see.. The NAbi and Rasul Hamsa but i was not talking about this forum only rotfl Rajah Rasul Hamsa You are correct at this one HAmsa yeah I am glad to amuse you. I was also not talking about this forum, i was talking about people who claim to prophesize, issue fatwas on the basis of ability to calculate earlier by knowing formulas and computing them faster. (Like Australian ass getting a whip 2day) Fee Amaan Al-La-Ha. And is it nineteen or a test? LA-Ee-La-ha-IeL-La-AL-La-Ha. Laam Aalif = La = No, Not, Negative, Absence. Aalif + Ye (Also known as single Zair when typed in short form" = Ee = (Do not know meaning's). Laam Aalif (again) = Laa = No, Not, Negative, Absence. Chotee Hey + Aalif (also known as single zabar when typed in short form) = Ha = (Do not know meaning's). but a sound created when exhaling. Aalif + yeh (single zair) + Laam = Iel = (Do not know meaning's). Laam Aalif (again) = Laa = No, Not, Negative, Absence. Aalif + Laam = Al = The "Whateva u calling it "Isme Maarfaa" "Proper noun" etc don't know. Laam Aalif (again) = Laa = No, Not, Negative, Absence. Chotee Hey + Aalif = Ha = (Do not know meaning's). but a sound created when exhaling. Nine Aalif's + Six Laams + two ye's + two "chotee heys" = Nineteen. Now am I abusing you? just kidding "AL" then must also be counted with "Single Zabar in short form". Just Learning

Give a second thought to your own words, may be you perceive the difference between the both. Idol is finite. Infinte goes out of the realm of "shai"-thing-finite-subject to dimensions.

ask about what? about things when manifested* will distress you. when? while the qur'an is being revealed. It is not "when"-time adverb but "if" conditional particle. The next sentence is independent and sequential. "And if you ask about such things while the Grand Qur'aan is being communicated...".

Salaam Mazhar, nice observation. I've heard this before but can't remember if it was from hadiths or from the Quran...are there any verses that mention men wearing iron yokes? Also, the more I think about it the less I think that Abu Lahab and his wife are parents, although this is still a possibility. They are probably just your generic rich, power-hungry couple. Thanks. I prefer not to quote and be guilty of spreading conjectural material. . This information is in Grand Qur'aan. http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/040.%20Ghaffir/40.71.gif when the iron collars will be placed in their necks and tied in chains they will be dragged The reason told to them reflects what status and position they people had in worldly life http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/040.%20Ghaffir/40.75.gif "This is because you people kept boisterously rejoicing in the Earth without any justifiable cause and fact, http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/040.%20Ghaffir/40.75a.gif and for that which you people kept behaving insolently. I always thought of people who thought in black and white terms as naive, and that life is much more complex than simple dualities. I agree. However, in order for it to be fallacious you have to enter a third option into the equation, don't you feel? To me, the pairs are being used to paint a picture. Even the fallacy itself can be black and white. The difference here is that the Quran is speaking in a decisive manner. Yes we can be kind-of-good and kind-of-bad; however, eventually you are one or the other. You make the decision that, yes I am going to be a good person. I will make mistakes here and there, but I mean well. You are either good or bad, ultimately.

Thanks for the info, but you already implied maqam Abraham was the standing place of Abraham, therefore how can someone enter it? Standing place of Ibrahiem alahissalam is a location/place with reference to Bait situated in a city. After the first sentence additional information is given that whoever had entered therein he was in a state of protection. While you are studying Grammer and Morphology to perceive the true meanings and perception of the sentence, I may invite attention to protection sentence which refers to physical reality, pl read it with its oath http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/095.%20At%20Teen/95.2.gif and by the long stretching and parallel/rift rock of the Peninsula of Sinai, http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/095.%20At%20Teen/95.3.gif and by this Secure City , Chapter 95 Translation by Mazhar A. Please Lyena, no sarcasm, pl don't read it by breaking into parts; plain sentence one part giving excuse for the other. She is not losing blood contiuously, in fact she is discharging/draining out-removing away the disintegrated/collapsed spread lining/endometrium-one of three layers of her uterus . It is why women are called the Subject/Doer of the Verb . The wording went wrong as I said; it should have been "She loses blood continuously while in fact she is ..................." Bleeding is caused by disintegration of one layer, when it does not there is no bleeding.

O you who believe, do not kill any game during pilgrimage. Anyone who kills any game on purpose, his fine shall be a number of livestock animals that is equivalent to the game animals he killed. The judgment shall be set by two equitable people among you. They shall make sure that the offerings reach the Ka`bah. Otherwise, he may expiate by feeding poor people, or by an equivalent fast to atone for his offense. GOD has pardoned past offenses. But if anyone returns to such an offense, GOD will avenge it. GOD is Almighty, Avenger. The above translation can be wrongly construed-what he killed is not "game animals" but from "game herbivore mammal"

peace Joe, Thanks for the feedback. In 734-5 the word RTL is Ra-Ta-Lam = to set in order, make even, well arranged/set together, make distinct, correct/right state of arrangement (primary usage is in relation to nice teeth), read/recite in a leisurely manner, read correctly, chant. Since the connotation from 2532 in which the question is asked "why has it not been sent down all at once?" it is unlikely to refer to recitation, but a well ordered arrangement, hence nice teeth. The article has been updated to add (part in bold), as I do this naturally without realising, hence neglected to mention it first time Is my understanding practical? It should be considered if the resulting understanding is actually possible to enforce or implement practically in the real world. What often helps is to 'internalise' the message, i.e. immerse oneself into the verse, become each object and/or person, understand how each component relates and works. It has now also been added to the free-minds articles section.

In my opinion Ch 3 and ch 19 are not the same instance so therefore they aren't contradictions. In ch3 the Malaika (angels) come to Maryam while in Ch 19 the word Ruhana (our spirit) is used. There is a big misunderstanding amongst muslims on the what the meaning of ruh is. In my opinion it cannot mean Gabriel or Angel in any part of the Quran. Transliteration Faittakhathat min doonihim hijaban faarsalna ilayha roohana fatamaththala laha basharan sawiyyan. Roohana is translated to mean our spirit and basharan meaning man/human being. So It says our spirit appeared as a human being not Gabriel or Angel appeared as a human being. Some people will argue that angels can appear as men but that would be speculation on their part to think thats the case in this verse given the fact that the arabic word malak doesn't appear in the verse nor does Jibriel appears in arabic. If it was Jibriel then why doesn't it say Jibriel in Arabic??? I have read tafsir on this verse 1917 and found that people like Wahb ibn munnabih are the ones who supposed that it was refering to Gabriel. Wahb was a tabi'in (never met the Prophet) who was known for quoting isralliat hadith. I have never seen an authentic hadith which states that The Messenger of Allah or his Companions having said that the roohana in verse 1917 was in fact Gabriel or an Angel. The basher (man) in Ch 19 may as well be the biological father of Isa (pbuh) however that man wasn't Gabriel or an Angel which deals a severe blow to the virgin birth theory which muslims claim the Holy Quran supports. My understanding is the Holy Quran proves that Isa (pbuh) had an biological father which can be supported from many other verses in the Quran. This is my understanding however, Allah Knows Best !!!

Salam, if I read your translation I'll understand, the prophete is the first who submitted (if muslim means submitter), I don't think it is correct, what about the previous prophetes in that case? My understanding is "the prophete is the first to make peace" v614, e.g. the context shows enemity against him because of what he was preaching, the right behaviour is to let them do and you first make peace so there is no "doubt" neither room for the ennemies to act as they do. Peace Dear Herbman, Your intentions are quite appreciable, in the backdrop of irrational and hostile conduct of some elements who proclaim to be muslims. Such instructions are at other places. Here there is no mention, even by stretching and importing connotations attached to such words in different structures, of initiation of peace process. The verb "Aslama" is intransitive-and will only convey the perception and meanings of "to submit to a verdict/word-accept wholeheartedly". When some one accepts/submits/believes to a verdict/word/proclamation he becomes a Muslim. If we listen the SOS shouting call of Firaun at the time of his drowning, we may know its meanings; http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/010.%20Yunus%20alahissalam/Temp%2001%2010.90f.gif he cried, "I have believed that indeed there is no iela'aha except the One in Whom have believed Bani Iesraa'eel http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/010.%20Yunus%20alahissalam/Temp%2001%2010.90g.gif and I am from amongst the Muslims" Chapter 10-Ayat 91

I think in common speech it is very common to use animals and perticularly the pig, the dog, the monkey, the donkey, etc. to picture attitudes or personalities of people and their circumstances. To me there is nothing special in that the Qur'an should make use of that manner of speach to depict what becomes of people when they follow their lower impulse. We may APE attitudes without understanding or wanting anything from them, jut out of lack of pesonal thought or reflection. About pigs we know, about dogs also, even if what the propular speach conveys may not always agree with actual facts. Not only in the case of these animalsoverall I have the feelig that there are many istances of figures of speach or idioms that in interpretation and translation in the Qur'an have been given a litteral meaning which distorts its logic. 4.34 and the punishment of theft being cases in point. Salaam
