Others', if you read, is "others' then deen rules", so I have no special rules when anybody visits me in my house. We're ones who're in a hurry and we're forgetting, but we can and should remind each others. This is one of the most beautiful properties of salat (reminding, zikr). Allah's bless and selam.

I think that you're wrong right there on the off-topic discussion we had, but hey I'm glad you finally agreed with me on my suggestion ! I'll be more than happy to discuss that in an appropriate topic. Adding to the actual Topic Another thing I noticed is how threads pile up on each other.. mixing regular open questions/opinion-based discussions and actual researches made by members etc...forming a huge pile of threads in a 10+ pages that you don't wanna look at and would rather just "create a new topic" and add it to the top of the pile

peace, I never replied initially as I didn't understand what you were referring to, and it was a software issue thus not my field. Now that you have made it somewhat clearer, I may agree that the titles could be improved, but I fail to see how it would confuse a user once they'd used the site a few times. Are you implying that despite being a regular user of the site, when you click on those titles you have no idea what results will show on the page?

As of now, most discussions take place within the categories designated without too many issues but if there's enough demand for it, we'll see what can be done.

Farabi, if you are still experiencing the problem choose any forum threads you started and build their links using bookmarking sites and social media. This should do the trick.

RunninglikeZebras and Savage_Carrot, Please let's not argue brothers. Let's be light-hearted, lenient and speak the best words to each other. The Quran tells us what the last prophet (saas) was not. So let's not be that either. It is easy to let each other have it with our gripes and complaints (which may be legitimate at time). But let's remember our creed brother and the Quran's advice on how to treat each other. I hope everyone can make peace. May Allah turn our hearts towards each other in love for God, his book and his prophetic messengers! Salaam...Peace brothers!

Peace all, I don't think that a daily limit on the number of posts is necessary. I think that the quality of one's argument is more important than the number of posts. However, it would be in good taste for a member to collate all their points into one post and to be as brief as is practically possible for the discussion at hand. Likewise, descending into name-calling against those with whom you disagree is, in my opinion, child-like and does nothing to support one's argument. It truly saddens me to see some members of this community exhibiting the same behaviours that I see from people on other websites. There is a tendency to react reflexly with emotive language and derisive epithets that do not at all befit the God-conscious. Besides, said behaviour contravenes the posting rules of this forum. I pray, appease and allay.
